A.D.A 2: Looking for Glory [Sogekik] [finished]

"done!" said lyndon while calling for you to come up with a new plan "tht sounds good...but we need to know where those things lead us" said Ferler "ok, the red dobt is where we are, as you can see, there is two paths we can use, the first onw is the fastest but dangerous path, which is the red one, is straight to the nucleus of the space station, but there is big risk of getting killed, the blue one is the safest, as Serra said, we can use the vents to go there, but that path ends in Rue de L'elysee, then we need to walk to the next corridor carefully and enter in the underground canals, and as you can see, everything is straight from there..." said Lyndon while showing all the team the map with the plan

I look at the others and try to make a decision on what I though was the best route, we where already one man down, and it might not be wise to charge down the quick route, it had a long straight corridor.... "we're already one man down, lets play the journey there safe, and then rush back along the quick route to the ship" I suggest

"i was thinking the same" said Nina and everyone nodded, Lyndon walk to the Vents gate and take it down, he helps ferler go up, then nina, lana and finally you, you help him go up when you were inside and everyone start crawling through the conducts, "what a great sight...i'm happy you don't use underwear" Said lyndon when he spots a camel toe...

I blush " I-I am wearing underwear..." I check and realise that I'm not "I-I normally do.... I had to get dressed in a rush" I tell him, still moving as fast as I can, trying to focus, typical that I'd forget that, at least I wasn't wearing a skirt...

Lana and nina ignored you, but you felt awkward having him looking at your crotch...you try to think in other stuff and stay focus, but it was to embarrassing being like this, it feel comfortable not wearing underwear though... you spend almost an hour crawling inside the conducts until Ferler reach the end and break the entrance, then he jump down of the conduct and fall on the floor "clear!" he whispered while lana and nina jumped too, you followed them and hide behind a wall when lyndon jump too, he was smiling and you notice he had a boner. "alright...the entrance to the underground canals is just in front of us, but we gotta cross through the big corridor" said ferler while looking around and running faster to the other side and hide behind a wall, then he looks both ways and command the girls to do it too, soon all of you were at the other side and trying to open the door, Ferler breaks it and you hear some guards say "what was that?" followed by some footsteps "quickly!" said lyndon as everyone go down the stairs and put the door where he found it "we're safe now...let's hurry!" said Ferler while start running through the corridors...

I follow closely, blushing again when I notice, Lyndon's boner, and try to ignore it, focusing on the mission for now. I start running too, keeping up as best as I can

you hear a some soldiers at the next turn and when they spot you the scream "FREEZE!" you hear the other one calling for reinforcements, but soon all of those soldiers were take down by Lyndon and Ferler "Fuck...they are coming from behind and in front of us...Serra cover our backs with Nina and Lana while we take the ones in front of us " said lyndon checking on his codex, they start walking slowly with their guns raised, you hear them shoot a few times, but after a couple of seconds of walking backwards five soldiers appear in your sight, Nina and lana start shooting at them, but their aiming was horrible and soon Nina was shooted on the head...

I shoot too determined not to loose anyone else, I was calm, and I was ready if we got attacked, and I kept my pace slow enough that I could be steady at a moments notice, but not so much that I'd slow the others

you took down several soldiers, with nina death, Lana focus even more to not be the next and her shots got more accuracy, but they keep coming, just like your first battle it seemed like it wasn't going to end, that until Lana throw a Grenade and everyone of them explode "Keep your shit together, we're almost there!" shout Lyndon, Lana turned around to see them and scream "becareful!" then Ferler was shooted several times all over his body, lana join Lyndon in protecting the front path leaving you alone to protect their backs "great idea Lana, there is a lot more in front of us than behind" said lyndon, you didn't knew if that was true, because a lot more start getting on your sight

this was starting to feel like we where going to fail, I was barely keeping myself together and I couldn't blame Lana for panicking, it didn't look like this was heading to a good end for me and these two, it was beginning to look like we'd fail, but I just keep shooting, not wanting to suggest a surrender yet, even if I was doing a good job back here, there was only so much I could do on my own

soon they stop coming and Lana and Lyndon start running "run Serra" you obey and get quickly towards them, Lyndon took the gate down and quickly go up the stairs. the nucleus room was empty and you just needed a few seconds to plant the bomb "Lana, Serra...cover me while i do the work!" lana obeyed and rise her gun..."look it this way Serra, they knew we were inside the canals, so all of them will come from there, leaving the fastest escape rute wide open" said lana prepared to shoot whatever will come...

I keep my gun raised. And ready, my head on a swivel looking and listening for any sign of attack, we'd already lost half of our number, so we had to be careful, and Lyndon might be the only one who can set the bomb, so I didn't want to risk him getting shot

you hear footsteps of a lot of soldiers running through the canals, then Lyndon run towards the gate and open it "go go go!" Lana and lyndon start running through the large corridor and you followed them from behind, Lyndon make sure to close and lock the gate so they couldn't get to you "shit, we got 5 minutes before they find the bomb, gotta find some launching pods!" said lyndon while taking his codex out and looking fot escape pods..."there is five escape pods, we will take the closer one...follow me!" then he starts running in front of you and turns left...after a few minutes running you found the escape pod and all of you go inside, Lyndon trys to turn it on and takes his time to do it, then his codex shows a warning "fuck, they are taking down the bomb!" then he turns on and he launches the pod, all of you fall on the floor when the pod goes full speed out of the station, then he turns on the bomb, it took a few seconds and Lyndon start to think that they manage to desactive it, but then, thw whole station explode...

"mission accomplished" I say with a grin, inspite of myself "I was really worried all of that had been for nothing"I say smiling at them both

"fuck yeah!" screamed Lyndon celebrating, Lana was sitting on the floor, i shock "they killed my girlfriend..." said Lana, it has being a few minutes now, but now that she was relaxed, it really hit her "they killed her..." she said in sadness trying to not cry, lyndon gets closer to her and look her ashamed "now that you say it, they took my best friends too..." then the pod turns around and start going to the planet..."they didn't day for nothing..." said lyndon "but they can't rest in peace, their bodies are destroyed..." said lana, Lyndon took adventage of this situation and held her in his arms, she hugs him back and he tries to comfort her...

I just stay standing not sure how to comfort either of them, though it seemed that Lyndon might take advantage of Lana's grief, but there wasn't a lot I could do we where of equal rank after all, but I could get Jeniffer to help her with anything he tries when we land. I just watch for now not having much choice seeing as I have nothing to say right now
