So I'm running a game with Cryosabre right now that's problem the most rules heave out of any of 1on1s right now. I'm kinda looking for feed back since zombie games are sorta popular. There are some behind the scene stuff but most of that is based off of Tsai's old rules as well as their old 1on1s with some people. So if anyone has been reading Out in The Dark give me some feed back on the mechanics. Feel free to PM about any of the behind the scene rules like travel as well.

Um... I-I was wondering, i-if you were to do this... I actually have some ideas and a character already lined up for a Bloodborne story I was writing... c-could I join? If you were willing to write the RP, that is...
Also... is it possible to play as a blood-infused monster in this RP? As in, play as one of the enemies, but with the mental faculties and dreams of a hunter? I was thinking, s-since the Brainsucker monster sets out to steal the knowledge of hunters... maybe one got a bit too overzealous, and the hunter's mind replaced its own? This would give my character many various and interesting tentacles to explore, and a humanoid figure... a-and we could do some modifications to the appearance, if necessary, since...

...Well, for most, even imagining that with breasts is likely not enough to make it remotely attractive...

As for you Nano, I base the monstergirls off of Kenkou Cross' work (The Monstergirl Encyclopedia). He does have a Mind flayer entry, but it's a... bit off. Japan and all...
And just because I said monstergirl, you can totally be a monsterguy. It's just... you gotta be born that way. And as you may discover later, Beasts that retain their intelligence are hunted by the Church for a different reason...

No, but that just means it's perfect for a Bloodborne setting.

I was wondering how often do people look over old games they made?

I was looking over one of the first rps I ever tried on another forum. It was modeled after a dungeon crawler where you start out held captive by tentacles and must escape. Anyway, I reopened it and decided to tinker around with the idea a bit more now that I have a bit more experience running games. I just wanted to know if anyone else has done the same.

Well, I've never really made or run a game of my own (though I'm sort of working on an idea for one at the moment) but I do find myself going back and rereading things I've written for other rps every once in awhile. It's kinda nice to go back and revisit and improve upon old ideas every now and then.

Okay, i will see about setting up a OOC in a couple days if not sooner. The setting will be about an evil and selfish lord taking residence and control of a prosperous town. Think of a early renaissance like construction. This is a port town that had a democratic and capitalistic system which has been circumvented by this olf of a lord. The entire town is in a state of unrest. The lord has been ruling over the town with a tyrannical fist under the excuse of bringing to folks into the modern age. The RP starts with a riot. May edicts that restricts and inprison the citizens have been instituted.

Thing of note near the start will be a restriction of sea captains. If anyone wants to take their chances, and can find a rule saying players can be sea captains, then i'm fine with it.
This campaign is designed with level 1 heros in mind. I suggest you start creating your character sheets now before i make the OOC up. For ability score, use high fantasy.

I'd prefer if your character was in [core rule book], [Advance class guides] or [Advance player guide] but so long as it's in the above link(including 3rd party) it should be fine.

On a completely absolutely positively one hundred percent unrelated note, I played XCOM 2 and I enjoyed it.

It was enjoyable but felt a little easy to me but that's probably because I let the bar fill up while I maxed my characters on easy missions and focused on research. But then again I wasn't new to xcom so I knew how to play.

I guess to make this not off-topic... Hey people check out my rp. Its based on Bloodborne lore and stuff.
