I don't mean to nitpick but her lines need to be darker so they can easily be defined and don't get lost in the colors. They are too light and unless you look closely it looks like a blob of colours. Don't get me wrong the art is great but the lines aren't dark enough

aye, i agree. the lines looked fine when i was working on it, zoomed ofc so i didnt notice that.
If i leave the sloppy background away, then the lines are more silghtly visible tough.

The lines are a whole lot better I do agree but I think the issue still remains that they are too hard to see even without the background. What I think would make it a whole lot easier to see would be slightly thicker lines. If the lines are too thin then they are hard to see when you zoom out or the colours seem to eat them if they are dark colours. That's part of why when I have art I get from a friend that's done in pencil I have to define the lines when I colour it on the computer so they can be seen.

I drew more heavily referenced pictures. What im trying to do is to combine the things i like about the original pictures and create a style of my own. you cant see much of it yet. But somehow i feel this is helping me alot.

I thank you for the compliment, but please keep in mind that these two were heavily referenced from different pictures.

Good job on the artwork. Practice and a natural talent and initiative for drawing is all that is needed. Keep up the good work!
