Would people's be interested in playing or co-gming a superhero school type RP?

We had a good one starting with Amaranis before he disappeared into the aether and I would like to have a crack at doing one again, only I'd like to run a character as well so would need a co-gm.

@exalted

I don't know about being a co-gm but if you go through with the idea I'll take part. I've just started reading My Hero Academia and the superhero school setting seems like it would be fun.

I'm thinking about rebooting an old RP of mine, the very first I started on this forum, actually! It's mostly about a virtual reality world that your characters will oh-so-conveniently be forced into by my obviously evil, nefarious villains. How it goes is that the world's basically a game of sorts and the win condition..is yeah, clear it. Damage you take in the VR accumulates into mental stress, which in turn leads to insanity, one step at a time. Very fun.
And so, it's aptly named the Insanitorium.

And while I do lead a rather busy life at the moment, I think it's time to dust off my fingers and make something worthwhile.

I had a quick question about some of the mechanic based RPs people run on the forum. Do you test the mechanics to see how they work? If so how. I'm currently working on a concept and I'm just working out how the stats and roll will work. Plus the mechanics a lot of the games being run feel like they were made from scratch.

I believe most people for the more complex ones use some variations of DnD/Pathfinder rules and others use some simple D20 rolls to get some things done. Of course I'm just guessing since I made up my own mechanics for my own rp and rarely ask others what they do.

My mechanic based RPs are a combination of traditional DnD/pathfinder stuff and some of my own ideas that i've tweaked again and again. Other ideas are taken from other people. Honestly im still figuring out a way to make corruption work on a very long term scale without the player having to run around between towns to be cleansed.

The main reason I was asking was because I'm working out an RP based on the Taimanin Asagi series. I've pretty much have the setting and rules down if anyone is interested.

Sorry I'm one post away from being able to send PMs. But in General I was planning to do a group RP placed in the Tokyo Kingdom from the games. There would be two opposing sides of players. One side being the Taimanin trying to reign in the city from demon control. The other would be a rising criminal organization trying to take Edwin Black's place. So consider one the Asagi Route and the other the Ingrid/Oboro route

Just thought I'd put a note up here that I'm going to be trying my hand at GMing a planetary survival style group RP called "Planetfall". The OOC has already been posted, if it sounds like something you might be interested in then please feel free to go check it out! =]

Been thinking of a concept: A post- zombie apocalypse world where pockets of civilization now thrive, thanks to people who spontaneously developed unusual powers who go and clean out some of the endless undead horde. Not sci- fi or fantasy. If I had a genre for it... Urban Supernatural?

Dunno. Kinda still working it out.

Technically urban fantasy would be the best term for it.
Life has gotten so much more boring. Well I suppose it doesn't help if I say my only source of entertainment is YouTube and here. So yeah not much of interesting life going on.

How 'unusual' would we be able to go? I have a feeling that someone, mainly myself, will want to have a control ability which makes undead dance.

I guess that powers would have to revolve around themes and conditions, kinda like Nen from HxH. Still trying to figure out a reliable system.

I just had a quick question. Are there any rules (Written or unspoken) about running two group RPs at once?

Not in the slightest, you can run as many as you like!

Have you seen the Private Group section? I'm sure that if there can be tens done by the same GM/Player combo, I'm sure you can do the same with group RPs. It'll be a headache to maintain that many, but hey, there's nothing wrong with getting those ideas out! XD

Also, look over at Alaena. She had two RPs up at the same time... until life came in.
