We're talking about luck based dice rolls and 'paper, scissors, rock' characters. The only 'work', par se, is posting and playing, so by that definition everyone should be getting rewarded.

Setting that aside, what happens when you finally get to the top Meep, when your or someone else's character gets so far ahead everyone one else just says 'no, we're not playing with you. We can't win so why bother?".

RPing, even when competitive, is collaborative and co-operative. You can't play unless someone want's to play with you.

You've talked of the lack of respect shown between players in this OOC and RP yet continue to show disrespect to everyone in it still. So, wiping the slate clean, why should I play with you?

So basically the two real choices are stagnation or progression in which some will eventually outpace others. As you already know Exalted, I'm in favor of the progression since I think it'll add another aspect to the rp. The gm can manage how much the progression ends up affecting things in the long-run to prevent people from being leagues above others if necessary.

Well exalted has a place for his opinion even if he isn't doing much PvP he's still a player of this rp and ist justified to explain his opinion. So before we alienate people who were by technicality taking someone's side. I think it would be best to I don't know something a wide man told me "Listen to understand. I'm honestly not thinking about the progression system right now. Honestly something else is on my mind. Time.

It's currently "night" right now and we've all completed a single mission. However while the Red Mane characters are all set to rest, the Taimanin Side is ready to go on another mission. Exalted's character I'm going play on his own time and Zero said he was ok with fast-forwarding his mission to catch up with everyone. What I'll most likely do is have everyone rest for the "night" with a roll to see if Goryo's character picks up any information on Almata's location. Then in the "Morning" I'll set out the new missions for each team. Just as a preview, for the Taimanin side I have:
Rescue Mission: Almata
Rescue Mission: Jennifer Wilson
Rescue Mission Suzuka Tamagawa

And for the Red Mane Side I have:
Retrieval: Suzuka Tamagawa
Errand for Dr. Kusanagi

Well for one I do think for myself. The words if you cared to understand them means to listen to others with the 'intent', Yes that's the key word, to listen to others.

Listen to understand the intent and what others are saying. Don't listen just so you can reply with some come back or to refute the other person's statement. Otherwise it draws out an unnecessary argument.
