Peitho's Curse

This is a little RPG game i did fool around with for a while.

Its based on VX Ace.

The goal was to figure out if it is possible to have animated sex battles and of coarse if im able to make an RPG after all.

It kind of worked!


The whole animated battle thingy was pretty hard to get to running.

There was a animated cut sceen after each battle but i kinda messed it up so it is gone atm.

Annyway i hope some of you have some funn with this littel game. ( it isnt finisched at all. just some start and heaps of unfinisched things :) )

if you reached the slime monsters youll get stuck annyway.

I started on a new project so i will probably not finisch this one.
so no support and no fullfilled whisches! sorry.

Oh and im sorry about my englisch. it isnt my main language. :)

Pretty impressive to see what you managed to do by yourself. Rare to see RPG maker games with animated scenes like this.

I played up until the slime quest, here are some problems I have so far:

    There are numerous spelling and grammar errors throughout the game.

    Some of the animations last way to long. The lesbian tribbing scene in the beginning is one example.

    During the orc threesome the audio multiplied so there was three loud moans playing at the same time.

    During the slimequest if you lose a battle you are given the option of "playing the scene" or skipping it. Either option softlocks the game. The scene never plays and you don't reappear in the forest.

Overall you did a good job with the CG art and putting together this game by yourself.

Or if you just level up; I got that same soft lock by getting to level 4 after defeating a slime.

I played the game, it's fine, There are some little animation defects, the second scene from the beginning of the game, the blonde girl is not very natural sounds a bit too robotic. After a few graphics that fit into the characters (eg a finger disappearing into the body of another during the animation, no big deal)

Early in the game, there's an NPC who walks on water and has blue pixel around, small bug on this level.

Another bug, after the girl was raped by goblins do and you choose to have sex or not with the 3 guys when you get down the river insconcient, when I go into town if I restarts in reverse my bug game, the three guys are locked and I see the body of the girl on top of the river and nothing happens.

When I pass a night in the tavern, I have always the same sentence that I'm tired, so I can not reach the room or there's sex.

The 3 guys who want sex before it is unfortunate that there is no scene with them (finally saw that the game buggy I do not know if there's scenes with them)

And to the hut or there are bottles everywhere, not possible to go down, and there or there's handcuffs on the wall, I can cross it.

In the battle system, do some addition other than oral sex with rats.

Otherwise, if the bug is corrected; with small additions, such as the position numbers and the possibility of sex scenes with good majority of men, and the possibility of repeating the scenes as well.

I played it but for some reason I can't get out of the sewers. I get to the floating crystal and I go out area, and I loop around to the beginning of the same area.

I gave it a shot.

My thoughts:

The animations are quite good for the engine, even if they're jumpy. Definitely need skips though as I can't tell if they're on a timer or if I should be mashing the enter button to move on.

I can't tell if I'm not catching something, but I can't even clear the crystal room. Am I supposed to be farming XP from the rats on the way or is it something I'm missing? I don't see anyway to recover HP/MP but potions.

It's hard to tell what's a physical stop and what's a background item. For instance, you can step into grates in the wall, but cracked stone is impenetrable. I suspect that's an RPG maker thing though.

Nice monsters, from the several I can see. Character isn't bad either.

I was able to get an HP heal by going to the crystals and/or blue monolith, and an MP restoration from the blue monolith.

For some other reason, the first time I played through, I was never able to even encounter the goblins, I just teleported onto "flowing down the waterfall". ... Now that I load a save it worked correctly ???

I like to add that you can also walk on the water in the first area, not just the NPCs
I might not create games, but I will test them, Then I will give advice on what I think needs to be added, removed, or improved.

Thanks for the reply's guys.

Annyway, as i tried to tell in the op this is a pretty buggy game still. and will probably stay that way.
I simply dont have the time to make games atm. im working up to 60 houers a week and have a family. :)

Spelling and grammar: my biggest enemy in every language i try. so im sorry for it. i did acctually write the dialoges up in word had it corrected and pasted it to RPG maker.
yet not all and it wouldnt work that good apparently.

Forward cutt sceens: compleatly forgot to tell you that! the animations are set up in loops. at the end of the loop it checks for the player pressing the action butten and then goes the the next sceen.
That is what it is suposed to do at least.....
So to forward keep enter, or what ever pressed.

Buggy sounds: I really did not pay much attantion to sounds yet. the multiplying comes form skiping to fast through the loops i beleve.
i forgot to cancel the sound's if the loops end.

Getting stuck: the slime quest is the current end of the game. yea right in the middle of it! im sorry.
if i remember correctly there should be a 3 slime group around in that wood. but you have to not fight with others first or youll get stuck.... buggy inst it :)

Sex sceens in town: there is 2 of em. depending on your joices. one with that fat fella running around in the middle of the town.
And one with the cupple dinking in the inn.
There is non with the guys upstairs in the inn im sorry. not yet.

The reason i poasted this really unfinisched and buggy game is because i olready started another one and im not shure if i will finisch this one ever.
but i thought i might just put it here and maybe it is a bit of an entertainment for some of you instead of just throw it away.

Don't worry your doing great, most games have bugs in it at the start anyway, If you every need us to make a list of the bugs, misspelled dialogue, or walls that arn't there, just ask us, and we will do it for every area of the map.
I might not create games, but I will test them, Then I will give advice on what I think needs to be added, removed, or improved.

this game is beautiful, i am very sad u won't finish it.
anyway the battle system is wonderfull!
will u release your new game here too? have it the same battle system?
