Re: Pokemon: Pink Version

I don't think consistently would be the right word here. I TRY to be consistent with the light coming from the top left corner but I don't always succeed at that. :X I'm still a newb at coloring, shading and digital art in general.

As someone who shaves his head I should have said buzzed, not shaved. My fault. Also, the make up was directed to the comment he left for Angelica. The eyeliner would be a nice touch.

Alright then, I'll be waiting update release before i'll work on trainers more, i'll also try to remember for future works to have light shine from top left corner for shading. I also went and colored rest of Angelicas head, drawing buzzed look might seem simple but it's hard to point out visually that it's like that XD.

Another note regarding angelicas makeup. So the result is, no lipstick but eyeliner instead? Any suggestion on the applying manner to angelica and if there's another color for it? XD

As For Bay, What if I told you... that most of the colors i applied... were in original version too <w<
Hair color is the same as original. As For his eyes, I will try to make them smaller and possibly make him appear bit more mature in process.

And Now, the cosplay Pikachu Pictures!

But Yeah i'll be waiting for update to get more clear view of what to work on. :)

Oh, do I know that. You saw my attempts at drawing a buzzed haircut. xP Angelica tries to make herself look a little older, so eyeliner, lipstick, etc. The color can be red, dark purple, dark pink, etc.

Bay is fine, other than the eyes. :]

For the Pikachu scene, the lighting is now coming from behind Pikachu. The scene lighting won't line up with thd battle art very often, if at all. It's just the battle art that has that lighting fixture. I have to say, I really likd her hair and prefer the eyes in the second pic. Again, good work! :D

Yeah, meant it that battle art will have light coming from left upper corner, other scene will be the way the scene is. Like the open door giving light a path into the dressing room and door close blocking the light from outside.

What were the opinions on the Rocket_coat battle sprite? I hope it was good? Also regarding the Rocket_Coat aka the Bandit, should there be a female variation battle sprite?

The rocket coat was good, better than our updated version, so I'll be putting it into the update. And yes, if you'd like to make male and female versions, I'll be happy to use both.

I'm kind of curious where you got the idea for the purple walls in Pikachu's scene. Not that I mind the color change but originally we'd settled on baby blue (or is that more of a powder blue?) wallpaper. And yeah, the room Bay is standing in is actually quite dark, so the lights around the mirror are the biggest light source (I'll grant you, the open door would allow some light through, but not that much would be bouncing 'round the corners). Aside from that, I've got no complaints. And I second loving the hair (of both characters) and the second Pikachu's eyes. Makes her look a little bit naughty like she's been caught with her hand in the cookie jar and just replies by offering Bay another cookie. Oh, one other question. Could you make the mirror reflect Pikachu? Best way to show it's a mirror is to show her in it.

the wallpaper color change was because of table having the steel color mirrorframing which accidentally looked exactly same color as wall. I will also try fix some of mistakenly added light on around corner objects.

Also Regarding the Pikachu's reflection addition, I can try do that.

I didn't mind the wallpaper myself, which is why I didn't comment on it. :p

Okay, I'll accept that. I don't object either, I was just curious the reasoning behind the color change.

I'm actually not sure if linking to certain picture hosting sites with comments would be okay or not so I won't directly link but you might look to if people were pokemon art for possible ideas if you draw total blanks on any.

Quick question relating to the Spearow you find wounded, will there be chance to have the particular spearow as your pokemon? Either it clinging to you or it finding you and showing it's gratitude, or finding it again somewhere?

I thought about that but can't confirm if we will have them or not at this time.

I'm not sure what you mean. If you mean linking to images off site for reference, you can do that. Just make sure that you don't claim it as your own if it isn't. I have been doing that; looking at other artists for reference. I constantly look at Humbirdo's list for inspiration, as well as the Pokedex Project and a collection of humanoid pokemon sprites I found.

Also sorry about all these repost of same pictures with small changes. Also I want point out problematic thing at Forest event. The spot where choosing path event starts, it loops constantly and there's really no way to get back to town, it starts the event and won't let you proceed past that point, leaving you stuck in forest. XD
you might want to make that event happen once then be erased. ' w '

Also 2 post left before you get to bombard me with questions. ' w '

Looking very good. I'm going to switch that new face pic in for the old one now :D and don't worry about it; we did ask for some small changes, and you provided.

And yes, I discovered that bug during one of my recent test runs and fixed it (discovered while experimenting with an event that would allow you to leave Willow behind temporarily). The problem was simply forgetting to set the sprite flag at the end of the script. There are quite a few other bugs I've had to fix as well. Hopefully after the bug fix is released, there will be no more bugs in chapter 1. Hopefully :D
