The source of the smell came from the fire where Sarah was cooking with her Kirlia Grace. Taking a quick look around she doesn't see anyone else out and it seems Jet wasn't at his tree where he was sleeping last night. If you want you can wake up your trainer and Leo before I start passing out plates."

Seeing Sarah and Grace at the fireside, she figured the others were asleep still, nodding when Sarah spoke, deciding to wake Jaden up first.
