An Eevee's Travels (DemonLust)

Kita didn't pay Sarah any mind at first, though her last sentence made her blush and she was quick to turn the other direction in an attempt to hide it, acting as though she had only been distracted by something. Even if the trainer was teasing at them, it still made her feel flustered to have such a thing mentioned so soon after....

[Soru]

Sarah saw Lots turn her head and she snickered a bit. "Oh~ Seems like you did. Well that's alright. I'm glad Leo found such an adorable female." She said, teasing them a bit more. "Anyways, your trainer will meet us outside. If there's anything you need to do then do it now."

[DemonsLust]

Kita was glad she had her back to them because she blushed even deeper from the comment, shaking her head. "Uh....i don't think there's anything...." She glanced back at them both when she spoke.

[Soru]

Even though she couldn't see it Leo was blushing as well. "Aw~ You're so cute together~ Anyways, lets go outside and wait. He shouldn't be long." Sarah says as she leads them outside of the Pokémon Center where they wait for several minutes before Jaden arrives with Jet following behind. "Sorry, needed to make sure Jet was well enough to travel." He said. Looking at Jet he had less bandages on than before and some fresh ones where he was hurt badly but it didn't seem to bother him none. "Now that we're all here, lets head to Ecruteak City. Unless we want to make one more stop before we leave." Jaden says as he looks at everyone. Kita could choose to go somewhere before they leave or just move on to the next city.

Kita glanced at her trainer as he came out, putting a bit of thought behind it, though she herself had no thoughts on doing anything before they left. "I'm about as ready to go as i can get, so i'm good." She said, glancing at the others to see if they felt the same.

[Soru]

No one else seemed to need to do anything either. "Well if everyone is ready then lets go." Jaden said with a smile and leads the way to the north exit of the city with Jet behind him. Sarah and Leo walked behind them and Kita walked with the group. They pass through the park and to the route that leads to the next city.

As they walked some made small talk to pass the time while others, mainly Jet, were quiet during the walk. Soon they decided to take a break and found a small clearing next to the path to rest. The trainers and Pokémon ate and drank as they rest, Kita finishing before the rest of them. She could go and wander around if she wanted to while they rested.

Sighing to herself as she finished, she stood up and decided to explore a bit, maybe relax a bit without feeling like the odd one out. With that she went to wander off a bit while everyone else continued eating. It was starting to all feel a bit unreal how she went from being alone to having the others around her. She was honestly liking it despite having been hesitant to talk to anyone much thus far. The only thing that really felt normal was how quiet Jet had been. She was glad at least that everyone was friendly towards her.

It had been a few minutes of walking when Kita decided to sit down, leaning back against a tree and just enjoying the peace and quiet of the moment.

[Soru]

Jaden tells her to be careful as he was eating before she wanders off out of their sight. Leo was talking to his trainer about some battling stuff while Jet was napping against a tree when she left.

Her walk through the forest was a peaceful one and she was able to relax and think clearly as she leaned back against a tree in a small clearing. However the peaceful silence is broken when she hears a bush nearby rattle. Out of the bushing and into a clearing came a Nidorino, who gave her an unfriendly look. "What are you doing here?! This is my territory!" He yells at her.

[DemonsLust]

Kita glanced at it, sighing deeply at the fact this pokemon ruined her peace and quiet, and his yelling was a tad irritating. However, she didn't bother to move from her place, feeling more than confident enough to hold her ground, though she did move to get to her feet just in case she needed to be. "What went and stomped on your tail. I'm not hurting anything." She snapped back.

[Soru]

That seemed to make the poison type more angry. "How dare you disrespect me in my own territory after trespassing! I was going to let you go if you gave payment but now I won't go easy on you!" He chargers at her and his front paws glow purple as he gets ready to hit her with Poison Jab.

[DemonsLust]

When she saw him begin to charge at her, she was glad to have stayed by the tree, as when he got closer, she pushed herself away, using the tree as a way to move away quicker as she pushed off from it, careful not to turn her back to the Nidorino. She planted herself firmly in place, expecting him to charge at her again, getting ready to counter with Iron Tail if he did.

[Soru]

(Roll-3 Ouch.)
As Kita pushes herself off the tree she didn't notice the root sticking out of the ground, causing her to loose her balance and stumble which gave the Nidorino an opening and jabs her hard in the side and sends her across the clearing. She feels a pain in her side but much to her luck she didn't feel poisoned. He then charged at her again, this time getting ready to use Double Kick on her which won't be good for a normal type like her.

Feeling the sharp jab in her side, she cried out in pain. Kita struggled to get back up as it came at her again, the rippling pain keeping her down, she could hardly even breath it was so bad. In an attempt to at least dodge the attack, she mustered up all the energy that she could, jumping to the side.

[Soru]

(Roll-16)
Kita manages to dodge just in time, the tree that was behind her was knocked down by the Nidorino's attack. She jumps and rolls away from the poison type who was getting up and shaking bark and branches off of himself. He then turns and charges at her again while she was still feeling the pain in her side. Before he could get half way to her an orange blur knocks his side and knocks him back. Standing where the Nidorino just was a moment was Jet. Soon Jaden runs into the clearing and over to Kita. "Kita, are you okay?!" He asks while Jet gets ready to attack the Nidorino again.

Kita was more than relived to see them both, nodding her head slightly to Jaden in response, though she made no attempt to get up or move. "I think so...it just..kinda hurts." She glanced over to Jet, letting herself ease up a bit more, though with the sharp pain still resonating from her side it was hard to do.

[Soru]

The Nidorino looks at Jet angrily. "More trespassers?!" He charges at Jet and tires to hit him with Poison Jab. Jet nimble dodges the attacks, knowing that the Nidorino is enraged and not aiming properly. "Ice Punch, Jet!" Jaden orders and Jet delivers a swift frozen jab into the Nidorino's side, launching him into a tree. Jaden helps Kita up and gives her a smile. "Watch this. It's going to be cool." He turns to Jet. "Water Pulse!" Jet puts his paws near each other and a sphere of water forms between them. "Now Ice Punch!" Jet then grabs the sphere with blue glowing paws and the sphere of water begins to freeze. "Ice Grenade!" Jet launches it at the still recovering Nidorino and it explodes upon impact into icy shards, making the poison type cry out. Jaden then takes out a Poké Ball. He then throws it at the Nidorino and the Pokémon goes inside. It shakes three times before going still. "Good job Jet!" Jet just gives them a thumbs up before getting the Poké Ball for his trainer. Jaden then grins at Kita. "Stick with us and we'll soon have a combo move for you."

Kita was more than interested in the 'combo moves' that Jet had done, having never seen anything quite like it before. "That was pretty cool..." Despite the lingering pain, it had faded enough for her to keep on her feet easily enough.

[Soru]

"Yeah, we know. We discovered it on accident sorta. We found out some moves can be combined and work together like you just saw." Jaden says as the three of them slowly walk back to Sarah and Leo. "We'll look at your moves and see if we can work something out."

[DemonsLust]

She nodded slightly in response, sighing deeply. She really had been a bit to confident in herself and she was still feeling the repercussions from it. She'd learned her lesson from it for sure though.

[Soru]

When they got back to where they were resting Leo looks up and gasps before going over to her. "Kita, are you okay?!" He asked concerned as he looked her over before getting a potion from a bag which he holds out for Jaden. Jaden gently lays her down as Jet went back to his tree to rest. Jaden lifts her shirt up enough to see where she got it and applies the potion, stinging her a bit before it became soothing. "Kita, what happened?" Leo asked.
