I was thinking that everyone spoilers their posts, and enforce against godmodding from reading spoilers from others.

How do you enforce a rule like that then? I mean, it is possible, but what kind of penalty would there be/how would you prove someone read it?

Having them fucked over by their own attempt to cheat. Or kill them and have them reroll a new character. It's not a game you can win on a single character. Lots of death and bad ends.

Yeah, I kind of have to agree with Icaelus on that one. This might actually work better as a real video game, or a werewolves style party game, but as a forum game, I'm starting to get the impression that it isn't logistically possible. I still love the idea though, and will try to help with thinking of a way to get it to work. Maybe having a simple character template would help then, so people could pop in and out as they pleased would be a solution.

heres an idea ive been playing around with for awhile. a Hellsing theme but not placed in London but America. they really dont say what happened in the other countries

I think someone had an OOC with that basic idea but it never got off the ground. It consisted mostly of enhanced humans or allied vampires hunting down supernatural threats and such. Regardless it's an idea I am interested in.

Yeah, Syndos made that idea, which for the most part came from his and mine RP that I pretty much never got around to updating...

I just wanted to pop in a random question.

Just out of curiosity, what's the most popular or most seen rp genre going around the forums? Most of my ideas go belly up and i figure i should open my range of ideas to something more popular.

Seems to be established Sci-Fi stuff or High Fantasy (not that there is a whole lot of difference between most high fantasy stuff really, so that's why it probably works), but even then it's no guarantee to stick.

Some ideas gather a lot of interest but then peter out, others just suddenly take a left turn straight off the road and crash (my Firefly RP is an example of that, things going pretty well then suddenly everyone goes paranoid and starts talking about torturing NPCs), that is of course not counting the times that life straight up screws you out playing or GMing.

Hmm. I understand the crashing rp's, i've had a LOT die on me for various reasons. But getting em started is hard for me, thus my wondering. Since i can't GM and it's hard to find an rp i can work with well it always drives me into a corner. Maybe something Sci-Fi might be good as i try working more into fantasy than anything else...

Would peoples be interested in doing a gladiator/ prison fight style RP?

They've been pretty successful in the past and have been good fun. I would be looking for a co-gm on the project though.

Just a thought, but would anyone here be interested in more of a slower paced rp or an rp geared more towards fantasy or modern fantasy?

Or maybe doing a semi-GM'd Lab experiment/fantasy escape type situation? (details would be discussed in PMs)

I'm all for being part of a Sci-Fi RP if someones interested in GMing one. I've been in plenty of standard fantasy rps and would be very interested in a Sci-Fi setting with some take or another that branches away from the standard formula.

I am looking for someone who would be interested in doing a gay sex-based RP (That's right, I said the G-word. Homosexual right here bud! )
I know this probably won't get a lot of attention considering what I'm asking for, and I completely get that, but I thought I might as well post something anyway. Side note, if you normally/always/are most comfortable doing RPs with GMs in there, I wish I had your creativity but holy hell I suck at those kinda things. Just letting ya know I can come up with plots for story and such if you want it, or think of an opening scene. Second, I would like to advise getting more posts in so you have the ability to get yourself sending emails to discuss further details about what you want to do. Sure you can get PMs, just not send them. It should be easy, head over to the General section and get some posts, and we're done for the most part!

As for who is up for this, well there is a very select few that will do this... and quite honestly, I welcome this. It should bring a nice change in pace to the RPs in the Private Games section, at least as far as who's participating in the sex act. I might even take you up on your offer!

Anyway, hopefully you enjoy your stay and get going on some fun, potentially sexy, RPs.
