Just as content with the absence of a path she makes her way through the forest. Vyn's thoughts wander to what kind of new experiences she'll meet during this journey, distracting her for a time while she walks through the trees. Her eyes light up as she comes across some tasty looking blueberries, feeling as though they would be more effective combined with a larger meal she carefully collects them into her satchel.

Continuing on her way Vyn's sensitive ears twitch lightly when the sound of running water reaches her, her face lighting up in excitement as her mouth seems to dry in anticipation. Taking in the sight of such a fresh stream Vyn is almost tempted to kneel down to take a drink right away, But the sound of something making its way through the overgrowth and towards Vyn puts her on guard a hand quickly going to her katana. Not able to discern the identity of the danger Vyn chides herself for not being more careful and hiding her presence, while focusing her complete attention in the direction of the sound as she lowers her knees slightly preparing to dodge whatever may come at her.

Ezra is slightly disappointed that there's no town in sight upon exiting the cave but resolves to examine her surroundings and likely take the forest path anyway. Or at least that was the plan before the man on the wagon appeared before her. "Hey there, names Ezra." She replied, returning his wave. It was a shame he didn't have any weapons for sale as hers weren't in the best shape but at least he might have some supplies she would find useful.

"I'll take a look. Can't guarantee I'll buy anything though." Now that she had mentioned it, she didn't even know how much she had to spend. Ezra checked her pockets to see how much money she had, if any, as she continued to speak with the merchant. "Although, you wouldn't happen to do repairs would you? Or at least know of anyone nearby who could fix these busted up gauntlets of mine?"

Rukarra holds her hand up to her eyes so that the bright light of the exit wouldn't blind her as she steps out into the valley. She had no time for admiring the beauty of the scenery when she had something to do. She noticed how the exit would disappear behind her, muttering about how she dislikes magic before she is cut off by a cut to her face which she fends back the creature by pushing it away. Upon inspecting the creature she growls, drawing her blood was not something she was fond of, but another battle scar to add to her face wasn't too bad in her mind. She takes her dual axes off her back as she gets ready for a fight against the odd creature, running at it as she lets out her battle cry, attempting to cleave its chest with her axes. Finally it appeared as if she found some sort of fun in this game.

She was making good time. The terrain was good, there had been no interruptions and there was a forest coming up so she would be in her element soon. It almost reminded her of one of her hunting trips where she had caught some game early so she spent the rest of the day hiking and admiring the nature of the woods. Except this time she was the early game caught early. She hadn't been sure what she had heard in the tall grass, perhaps a small animal or something similar but when it came for her, Kiera was ready. Ducking and sliding out of the way, the huntress, dodged the assailant, steadying herself with one hand on the ground and the other already reaching for her crossbow. With practiced ease, she loaded her crossbow, silent and waiting for her prey to reveal its situation through movement or communication.

She breathed slow to steady her aim and to calm herself from overthinking the situation. From what she knew, it was small, green and had more than four legs. Her best guess was an enlarged spider, not that it mattered since she was certain it wouldn't be living for much longer. Then it chuckled? Kiera couldn't believe there was a creature besides humans capable of laughing. It unnerved her slightly yet made her more determined to take this "thing" down. She first took a couple steps back, in case it tried jumping for her again then lined up her shot, confident that she had accurately pinned down its location. Then with a deep breath and a quick trigger pull she fired, her eyes still on the thicket as she immediately began reloading for another attack. Could it be she was already encountering creatures of corruption, twisted versions of normal animals? Then she realized she was overthinking it again. It was just a thing that was going to die, just another thing to hunt.

Strange having her memories tampered with but if it was necessary for all of this then she would do what she needed to to reach Ultima Bellum. Deciding to stick to one of the paths that the church has she found her stroll quite pleasant for the most part. The breeze cooking her skin to the touch and the smell of the forest.

As the brief beauty of the forest left her with rather magnificent sight of a village. It was quite lucky of her to have fortune favor her today. However she May have thought this rather too soon. Hearing something approach her she clicks her came sword keeping it locked in one of the grooves to use it like a staff. Better to keep her opponent at a distance til she could properly gauge his abilties. Using her spells too soon would be rather foolish too.
Life has gotten so much more boring. Well I suppose it doesn't help if I say my only source of entertainment is YouTube and here. So yeah not much of interesting life going on.

Approaches the large, unicorn pulled caravan with a small amount of caution, keeping her distance, yet still close enough to coherently speak to the Magical Wares salesman. "Well, this is.. Quite extravagant, to say the least" she says, staring at the majestic unicorn pulling the purple coloured wagon. "Do you have any cheap, yet, moderately okay staves? And perhaps some materials to fix my cloak? It's a bit.. Ruined, to say the least". Looking at the stones swirling above his pal, giving a snicker, before rummaging around in her pockets for any type of currency or any item worth of value, before frowning. "I'm sorry Sir, I don't believe i have anything to pay you with for your magical wares, and, er.. Doo-hickies and the like". She sighs, sliding her hand out of her pocket, looking back up to the Salesman.

Everyone:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Your crystal begins vibrating again. Despite what you are doing, you may or may not have time to take it out and examine it. As if sensing this, the crystal's hum intensifies, and Inquisitor Jo'rahn speaks, the noise emanating from you. "This is an automated message. The Magicii have finally distributed your funds through your crystals. You each have twenty Ulji'ra coins, and five Compono coins. You may requisition these coins from your crystal by holding it in your palm facing upwards, and thinking: 'Ultima Prosper, X, Z.' with X being the coin type and Z being the amount. Your coins will be transferred to you in your hand through the use of teleportation, so do not request forty Ulji'ra coins, as they will overflow your hand. To deposit funds, hold your crystal in your hand along your palm like before, and with your other hand, you must drop the coins you have collected into your opposite palm, while thinking of the words: 'Ultima Treasury.' If you do not have access to both of your hands, you may simply press as many coins as you'd like against the crystal while thinking of the words. That will be all. God bless you." And as quick as that, the crystal dulls to its original darkened state.

Vyn:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You crouch slightly and place your hand on your katana, ready to bolt in any direction if you could not lash out at something hostile before it got to you. (Threat roll: 16, quantity roll: 6) Unfortunately, as you listen more closely to the sound of rustling through the woods, you realize that it isn't just one creature; It's multiple entities! Steeling yourself with this knowledge, you don't have to wait much longer until a party of seven goblins suddenly thrust themselves out of the bushes, snarling and snapping their jaws shut as they look around briefly, before spotting you. On opposite sides of the river, both you and the group of goblins have yourselves a staredown. Neither of you make a move for the briefest of moments, before a goblin with a half-helmet that fails to cover his jaw yet the entire portion of his head raises a small machete and screams, sounding a battle call. They all charge forwards to the river, but with their height never exceeding a total of five feet, they'd more than likely have to swim over to you. You feel confident that you could cut down at least a few of them before they could reach the shore of the river, (Enemy wit roll: 3) and fortunately, they don't seem to be smart enough to come up with a plan better than that one.

They dive head-first into the water, the river spanning about ten feet wide as they kick their feet and begin swimming at you alarmingly fast. They really are dumb; They're all swimming towards the same spot and are going straight for you, tactics to the wind!

Kiera:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As you peer around the grass looking for the creature, it fails to show itself as it would either be hiding, or attempting to flank around and ambush you. You don't see any movements, nor does it continue making any noises. Having believed in yourself that you were confident enough to fire at the creature, you do just that, and launch a volley down at the area you believed it would be in. (Roll: 11 [Blind attack: -5] = 6) You don't hear a reaction coming from the creature. Could you have hit it in the he-

Just as you (Roll: 17) nock another bolt in your crossbow, the grass rapidly shifts and brushes noisily coming in a curved pattern towards you, the creature isn't dead! You raise your bow and aim down the sights, attempting to calm yourself in this alarmingly-fast encounter. You have less than a second to hit it, or else it will probably jump at you again. (Roll: 11 [Half of Perception + Dexterity = 8, surprised debuff: -4 = 4] = 15) Despite being surprised by the creature's quickness, the ferocity, and the fact that it's still alive, you track it with a bit of difficulty as it races towards you and jumps in the air, limbs outstretched-- Only to be skewered mid-air by your crossbow bolt straight through its' middle. The bolt lands with a satisfying thwack and the creature flies off into the grass, before getting impaled into the ground.

Stepping up to it, you check the body after collecting the other bolt that had gone wide, and take a closer look down at the creature before you. Despite your earlier thoughts on it being something akin to a spider, it is, in fact, not. Its' body is covered in green scales, with its underbelly a slightly lighter color. It hardly has a face to speak of; Just two red, slitted-pupil eyes and a small circular hole between them which is inhaling and exhaling extremely quickly. Looking down its body, its limbs appear to be best suited to lock around something, and you eerily recognize that it would have been your head. Towards its crotch is a genital slit; It's almost too small for you to see, but it's definitely there. You'd imagine that it would be close to your mouth, should the creature have latched onto you.

The creature emits another few garbled chucks, and something that sounds faintly of human laughter, along with a heavily-distorted: "W-wwwww-wha-a-aaat wzzzzzzz t-that?", stuttering and sounding like a coughing fit of collected blood in the creature's lungs, before it finally settles and dies. Blood pools on the grass beneath the creature, though you can't imagine that you've come into contact with corrupted entities yet. Those will probably be further down the line; This was just a regular creature that pervails in the land of Arae. Maybe if you encountered more, or met someone who knows the wildlife, you could learn more about them?

Umbrage:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As you step back from the bushes and steel yourself, the rustling grows louder and louder, until: (Threat roll: 11) A man dressed in leather armor, somewhat on the thin side, steps through and groans, holding his head as it would be covered by both a hood and a black mask, rendering his identity utterly unrecognizable. He seems to be content to continue walking forwards towards you as he for all intents and purposes doesn't so much as see you, until you either stop him by calling out, or he gets close enough to look down at you while holding his head.

In either situation, he immediately jumps back and whips his hand around, unsheathing a dagger from behind his back and holding it up with a practiced stance. He looks legitimately caught off-guard, though when he speaks it's of a strong voice and a stern tone. "You there, little bitch. It's not very polite to sneak up on someone. Give me all your fuckin' money, or I'll slit your throat. Don't fuck with me, I'm serious." He warns you, starting to lower himself into a combat stance. It seems you have a fight on your hands!

Gaen:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As you cautiously edge your way closer to the figure in the distance, they're starting to look tall. Easily starting to look as tall as six feet, though they don't seem to be your height. It's only when you just start to get a tad bit closer, that (Roll: 2 [Half of Perception = 3 - DANGEROUS ENEMY = 0] = 2.) you fail to notice a rustling in the grass behind you. It's when a vicious growling from behind you starts do you turn around, though not in time- A leopard is already leaping in the air towards you; (Roll: 19 [Dexterity divided by 1/4 = 1, surprised debuff: 4] = 16) You manage to sidestep and dodge the leopard, taking a swing at it with your newly-acquired sword, though as you bring it down, you only manage to shave a few hairs off the tip of its' tail. It lands on its feet and snarls at you, baring its fangs.

As you get a good look at it, you see that it's got-...Leather armor along its body, with a satchel along its right side. It's likely a companion of someone, though you can't afford to divert your focus right now, on account of its tail flicking as it prepares to launch itself at you again. (Roll: 6) Unfortunately, although you're more prepared this time, you're not prepared for the fact that it first darts along at you in a linear pattern, which would be in a straight line, before it suddenly digs its paws into the ground, flings itself to the side, and then leaps at you! Fortunately, it digs its claws into the arm of your leather armor that wasn't non-existant, and that takes the brunt of the sharp claws and teeth digging into you. (-3 health!) As the leopard mauls you, you notice a smell starting to emanate from your forearm, along with the feeling of liquid trailing down your hand. You growl and (Roll: 14 [Strength divided by 1/4 = 4] = 18) charge your arm up to volley it off of you, quickly whipping your hand around in an upwards manner in hopes of sending the fucker into the air. Unfortunately, it senses your plan and immediately jumps off of you, and lands on its paws, growling and glaring.

Just then, a horn sounds from the general area where you first spotted the unknown figure; Its' appearance still unbeknownst to you. The leopard issues one final growl, before immediately turning around and darting off. Blood seethes down your shoulder, and although the cuts aren't deep nor are your wounds life-threatening, stopping the bleeding would be a very good idea.

Looking down at your arm that was mauled, there are several gouges and rips along the arm of your armor, though it appears on the whole, unscathed. You look at your forearm and see just what happened, before recoiling at the scent of piss. It seems you've been urinated on by the leopard, though only a thin stream dribbles down your hand onto the ground. You have a distinct feeling that this is not the last you've seen of the unknown figure.

As you receive the message from the Inquisitor, you nod and recognize how much money you've got in your account. A twinkle appears in the man's eye as you ask what he has for sale, and he hops off the wagon with enthusiasm. Stepping up to the right side of his wagon, he grins to you and simply hits the side of it with his fist. Instantly, the wall of the wagon collapses and then neatly falls to the floor, and an incredibly large array of miscellaneous gear neatly rolls into place. The wagon likely had an enchanted prospect about it, or he was moving each and every single item with magic without speaking the words; In either case, magic is prevalent when it comes to this man.

"Just anything a seasoned traveler could ever need, my dear!" He proudly explains. He unveils his hand around the newly-formed table out the side of his wagon at his merchandise, and you eagerly paroose his wares.

Ulmnioson fruit: Fills your stomach up quickly; Though your Intelligence takes a large toll. (20 copper)
Grinding stone: A rectangular piece of metal with a specialized shift of flint attached to its side. This will allow you to sharpen blades or rocks, or anything else you might need to. (50 copper)
A collection of satchels and backpacks: Allows you to carry more things, as opposed to leaving some due to you not being able to carry anything. (10 copper for satchel, 30 for backpack)
Klo'ringa Jelly: Increases your Strength and Constitution, though with a penalty of making you increasingly horny, along with a hangover-esque affect at the end of its ten-minute duration. (50 copper)
Bottle of alcohol: A bottle of whiskey. (15 copper)
A collection of ropes, snares, and small crafting materials. (Price dependent on amount and quality purchased)
A small blue crystal with a pulsing, aqua aura around it. It gives off a minor health and mana regeneration field that affects only you, though the affect will attract anything that can sense holy properties, demons being among these, and you get a -3 to all roles. (60 copper)
A small vial of blue liquid, which when rubbed on your skin, providing you with an extra layer of protection. However, you may be severely allergic to this concoction, and the affect will only last for 72 hours. (50 copper)
A vial of green liquid, said to be a paralyzing potion that has a chance to fail. (40 copper)

The shopkeeper grins and tips his tophat up at you, the twinkle in his eye still present as he cocks his head. "So, willing to buy anything, lass? Unfortunately, I don't have the capacity to repair items, I apologize."

You hear the message cast out by Inquisitor Jo'rahn through the crystal, and recognize that you do indeed have money to pay for him, causing you to shut your mouth before you speak about being poor. The wizard laughs as he snaps his fingers, and out pours a magnificent gust of wind that sends his purple robes flapping, making him look like a man taking on a storm. As you close your eyes to avoid the heavy buffet of wind, you slowly open them to see that the man's shop has already been completely set up!

A light-wood staff rests along a dark-wood table, the end of it outstretching into a bright-blue bulb of luminescence. This staff is infused with the breath of a sage frog, and was crafted using birch-wood. It's a step up from your current staff, and it also provides light automatically, at the small cost of a spark of your mana every ten minutes. (80 copper)
A water scroll, capable of a spell that calls rain in the area around you to buffet the earth ruthlessly. While not a spell that causes damage, it sparks a heavy rain that can be useful for a multitude of situations. Only has three uses. (40 copper)
A fire scroll, capable of a fireball that explodes upon contact with something after it's cast. Has five uses. (30 copper)
A dark-magic scroll, capable of increasing the lust of your target along with casting temporary illusions of what the caster wills them to be. You gain corruption if you use this spell. Has four uses. (40 copper)
A blank tome, capable of writing your exploits, spells, or something else entirely in. Used also for creating new spells, or recording an incantation on a scroll so that you may learn it later, as opposed to using the scrolls and throwing them away. (70 copper)
A bag of go'ri's breath. This powder may be infused within a wand or staff or something of the like, increasing its conductivity and in turn, increasing the weapon's magical effectiveness. Has a chance to fail the operation if the user is unskilled. (60 copper)

The mage grins as he confidently crosses his arms. "I do happen to repair certain things, though...By the feeling of that cloak, it's magical-imbued. The price will be 60 copper to repair it to its full potential. So, my child. What'll it be?"

You growl as your face stings with the hot presence of your blood, which trickles down your cheek. Your axes are in your hands as you roar and strike out at the lizan, (Roll: 10) barely grazing along its chest as you would have gouged out a bit of its leather armor, leaving a satisfying, deep cut along its chest. It snarls and barks, before lashing out towards you, (Roll: 2) and completely misses you, losing its balance as it lets out a hiss and starts tumbling towards the ground! (Roll: 1!) Unfortunately, just as you yourself are going to counterattack, you lose your balance as well and fall on top of the poor lizan! It screams in protest at your overbearing physique and kicks its limbs attempting to get you off. (Roll: 13) Fortunately, you manage to stay on top of it and you grin as you drop your axes to the ground. You reach forwards and grab his helmet with both hands, starting to increase the pressure on its head dramatically. You howl in your bloodlust as you press your fingers and hands harder and harder against the screaming lizan, before its' helmet concaves into its skull, blood starting to spurt from 'neath the helmet and run down its' scales. You slowly stand up, satisfied that it'd be too busy clutching its' head in pain to move, and grip both of your axes. You raise them above your head, and with a boomingly-loud war cry, bring the two of them down on the lizan's neck, treating it like a chopping block as you sever its neck, its head rolling along the ground. You're hit by a spray of blood starting at your shin and raising to your eye, further accentuating your bloodlust.

The lizan looked to have some equipment; Its sword was small, but at least appears to be sharp.

The tension builds around Vyn as she watches the direction of the rustling, her eyes widening slightly as it becomes clear that the what was approaching her was not just one but several foes. Steadying herself for what's to come she braces herself as the seven goblins emerge from the bushes. Though a natural urge to retreat when outnumbered sparks within her, Vyn quickly extinguishes it as she studies her opponents judging them to have little strength outside of numbers, this just may be good challenge to hone her skills. The goblins seem to charge at her blindly. Vyn's mouth curves into a smirk, witnessing the enemies display of recklessness as she watches them dive recklessly into the water. Vyn shifts to the very edge of the water, only to the point that wouldn't endanger her footing. Drawing her Katana, a memory briefly flashes fondly into her mind, one of her former master standing on a river bed, watching the movements of the fish carefully before striking. Vyn focuses on trying to eliminate as many of the goblins that reach her as possible with quick thrusts of her blade before they manage to find purchase on her side of the river, hoping they would be vulnerable in they're current state. At which point she would make sure to keep her enemies in front of her, focusing her attacks on any that attempted to flank her.

Gaen was frustrated. Putting aside the fact that blasted animal had managed to piss on his arm somehow, he had also failed to get a good look at the mysterious figure. At least he had confirmed that yes, it was indeed a trap. Still, he was left with more questions and now had an arm to clean before his wounds got infected, which made founding a water source priority. Gaen had learned how to find a water source inside wilderness during his first years spent in the wild. In this situation, he had three things to look for, lush, green vegetation, animal tracks and finally sound of running water itself. Insects themelves was also good indicator that there was a water source nearby but those were usually near stagnant water sources like swamps which Gaen wanted avoid for the time being. A river or a brook was what he needed now since those water sources were cleaner so Gaen started walking once more, eager to put some distance between him and the point he was ambushed while being cautious for any other animals that may ambush him.

Strange that this man here is trying to threaten her. Before they would start fighting she gave him her own warning. "I dont wish for unnecessary violence however if you force my hand I will not hold back." After having warned him she waited for him to charge at her activating her shatter barrier spell before he could close the distance. While using her staff like weapon to keep him at bay with several jabs and swings.
Life has gotten so much more boring. Well I suppose it doesn't help if I say my only source of entertainment is YouTube and here. So yeah not much of interesting life going on.

Lilly stares at the berries but decides not to eat them after looking them over, she would keep thm as a last resort before continuing to look over the supplies she gathered, there wasn't much and it frustrated her a bit as she let out a sigh. She would look over the seven remaining arrows and just frown at them before hearing something in the bushes. She would ale a moment to listen and noticing that it sounds like it's coming toward her she heads off to try to sneak away before it gets too close keeping as quiet as possible.

Rukarra grins as she cleaves the lizan's chest, laughing at how it missed its strike before losing her balance and falling on top of the poor lizan, her large body crushing it. For a moment her green cheeks turned red from her clumsiness and embarrassing pose, but she shook off that thought as she pressed on the lizan's head until it bled, allowing her to get up and cut its head off with her axe. She decided it would be wise to see if there was anything other than the small sword and armor that she could take, wiping off the bleeding of her cheek. She decided afterwords to head towards the village that she had seen in the distance, her stomach rumbling lightly as all that combat makes a woman hungry and she needed some meat to eat...

Everyone:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

It looks like it's after high-noon.

Vyn:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You step on the river bed, confidence surging through your body as you watch your enemies swim towards you. With your katana in-hand, you raise your blade (Attack roll: 16) and bring it down cleanly upon a goblin's head- Severing it from his body! As the goblin with the pot-helmet sees this, he lets out a roar and doubles his speed. He looks to be the leader. (Roll for remaining goblins' speed: 4) Unfortunately for the goblins, they just can't seem to all mass up enough due to some of them falling behind, and (Attack roll: 18) you take advantage of this by quickly stabbing a bare-chested one through the heart, a slick thwish ringing out as you pull the blade from his torso. He screams and clutches his wound, before falling backwards into the river. The remaining five goblins (En-masse roll: 4) fail to group up together; Evidently the leader does not lead very well, and they actually appear all separating along the riverbed for some unknown reason. You'll at least have a little bit of time before you're ganged up on.

Just then, a goblin in front of you raises a wooden club and spins it around in a circle, roaring a war cry as he charges. (Goblin war-charge: 20!) The goblin's war charge and fierce display actually shock you; You're helpless to move until he barrels into you, knocking you to the ground! (Grip roll: 13, stunned roll: 10) Fortunately, you manage to keep a hold of your katana in your hand, but you're partially dazed by how hard the goblin hit you. You groan as you slowly open your eyes and hear the rustling and gutteral cries of the goblins around you, and as you come back into focus, you see the one who barreled you down, sitting right on top of your chest, raising his club in the air! (Goblin attack: 16, Vyn resistance: 4) You growl, trying to kick or throw him off, but it's ultimately no use. You do however, disrupt his attack, at least slightly, and his club bashes into the ground right next to you, catching your ear, undoubtedly bruising it and sending a flair of pain rocketing through you. (-2 health!)

Rather than try that again, the goblin snarls and some of his drool dribbles down onto your chest, before he grips his club at either end and presses it against your throat- He's trying to choke you out! Just as he does, the other little bastards begin surrounding you, and you feel a pressure on your feet. Seconds later, your boots are pulled off, followed by a pair of grubby hands pawing at your belt and pants. Your wrists are (Resistance roll: 15) unable to be pinned down, clenching them into fists as you swing wildly with your katana: (Attack roll: 8 [Blind attack: -5, Panicking: -5)] = 0) Unfortunately, you don't even manage to hit the one on top of you before your sword is kicked from your grasp, your wrists finally pinned down as your belt is undone. Oh, no...

Umbrage:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As you respectfully and fiercely warn the bandit, he growls and flips his dagger in his hand, pointing it at you as he charges! "I'm not gonna pass up on someone like you, 'ya filthy bitch!" He yells, running the short distance at you. (Speaking the rites roll: 20!) You immediately begin preparing your shield spell just in case, and are easily confident that you can finish it just when you want to. You wait for just the right moment, before speaking the final words and activating the spell just as the man's dagger would be about to contact your throat; Your shield bursts out from you and cracks, before shattering and sticking the man with various shards of magical energy. He screams as he's flung backwards a good four feet, falling to the ground as the shards would be plainly visible. You feel a drain on your body as the shield reforms, the shards in the bandit slowly dissipating. He gasps and lays still on the ground. (Shard placement roll: 14) It doesn't look like any of his vital organs were pierced though. He groans and slowly forces himself up, looking rapidly around for his dagger, which he manages to find, and (Bandit resolve: 15) glares at you, slowly re-adjusting his dagger in his hand as he apparently wouldn't be giving up yet. He's bleeding from the magical shards that were imprinted in him, though obviously his injuries were not serious enough to stop him.

"God'dam magical bitch...You'll pay for that!" He screams, his eyes filling with a bloodlust as he charges again at you, roaring while he does so. (Initiation roll, Umbrage: 18. Bandit: 19) Unfortunately, as the man sprints towards you, you're unable to gain the advantage to act out first; He's nearly on you! He expertly ducks down past your attempt to sweep his neck with your staff, and immediately comes up and grits his teeth, raising his dagger to thrust at you. (Bandit attack: 13) He stabs deep at you, though your shield easily takes the attack. A crack appears in it, though it still holds. You let out a cry as you prepare to strike at him with your staff; (Attack roll: 4) but don't manage to land a hit; He just dodges out of the way again. He throws himself backwards, and examines the faint shimmering around you that would be your shield, with a bright crack in it. (Bandit intelligence roll: 16) He seems to be studying you rather closely, before he seems to figure out how your spell works!

He chuckles as he tightens his grip on his dagger, using his free hand to flip his fingers in a 'come hither' motion, taunting you. What a smug bastard.

Your mana reserves are less bountiful than your below-average mage. You should consider ending this fight quickly, or turning off your shield, or face the risk of eventually leading yourself into unconsciousness.

Gaen:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You growl as the piss along your arm drips down onto the land beneath you as you set off. It's not long until you can't even so much as see the area where you got attacked, and that at least makes you somewhat relieved. Deciding against your better judgement however, you walk towards where the mysterious figure was sighted. You look around the grass, and see it to be trampled running off in a straight line out of the field. It's not where you're interested in going however, so you decide against following the trail.

(Roll: 8) As you walk along the meadow, you fail to locate any water pools or rivers. This frustrates you to no end, especially with your blood still leaking from your arm and shoulder, dripping down onto the grass. When a breeze drifts through and sends the reek of urine from your arm to your nostrils, you're at first disgusted and angered, but then your more rational side kicks in...Why would the creature urinate on you, when it was attacking...Did it not plan to draw blood with its attack, just in case? And why did it leave when the horn was ca-

...You're being hunted. Both your blood and the piss is a tracking indicator of where you are, and if you don't manage to get rid of both, you'll be a beacon for the pair of stalkers. The leopard's undoubtedly got your scent, but if you're able to clean yourself off, you'll at least be a bit harder to find.

You finally come to the end of the meadow, and in the distance, you see the beginnings of a few trees, which quickly blossom into a magnificent forest. If there is water, it will definitely be there. You keep an eye out on your travels for anything that could be useful to you, and (Roll: 4 [Perception: 5 divided by 1/4 = 1] = 5) you can't find anything overwhelmingly 'good'. You do however, find a Lug'ju grub, one that will, when bitten into, flood your mouth with a foul-tasting liquid, but is substitutable for water, in a pinch.

Yvria:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You hear all the talk from Inquisitor Jo'rahn just the same as everyone else, and got all of your information straight from him via your Je'bahdi crystal. You clench the crystal in your palm as you grin; This'll be the best way to make money yet! You then pocket your crystal, before looking around your surroundings. You're in a mountainous outcropping, the altitude somewhat high as you couldn't even remember getting up here. Going either up or down will likely lead to two completely different places, due to it not being a legitimate mountain that doesn't lead anywhere.

The pouches along the armor (Roll: 5) not doing much better, one of them completely ripped out of the bottom. Simple animal-hide clothing and undergarments. A small-sized rucksack (Roll: 12) in good condition, able to hold a good amount of items. Two daggers (Roll: 9) in alright condition, though they could definitely use some maintenance.

Rukarra:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You search through the lizan's belongings, finding (Roll:4 [POTENTIAL LUCK BONUS: 19, luck roll: 5 divided by 1/4 = 1] = 5) a small pouch of red berries. You cannot guarantee their safety, but they were found on the lizan, so he must have at least thought they were edible, right?...

You set off towards the village in question, though it looks very far away, and you don't think you'll be able to get there before the day's over. Regardless, you trek on, your stomach growling its protests even as you do. You (Encounter roll: 1) begin to see a figure slowly coming to you in the distance as you travel. You frown, and squint your eyes...Is it...Flying? Sure enough, the creature flying towards you is little over four feet tall, but it sports cherry-red skin, short, stubby little horns, and a pair of goat legs ending in small hooves. Its bat-like wings propel itself into the air. It's an Imp, surprising you slightly that you'd find a demon so soon!

It locks onto you and grins evilly, before flying a bit in the air, though you could easily reach it if you so tried. He closes his eyes briefly and his raises his left hand in a fist; Until it seems like the very space around his and turns darker and darker, until a roiling black ball of what looks like molten goop is forming. Suddenly, he finishes the incantation and aims his hand at you! (Imp attack: 11, Rukarra evade: 4) A gas of black, translucent smoke fills out from his hand extremely quickly, and you're too slow to dive out of the way, nor are you able to hold your breath in time. You breathe in the smoke, and almost as soon as you do, your netherlips are set aflame with desire, following by a pebbling of your nipples through your leather bra. You can't help but stifle a barely-concealed gasp as this feeling immediately roots itself deep in your brain, and you're just now beginning to notice a growing bulge in the imp's loincloth. He grins knowingly, crossing his arms down at you.

Lilly:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You sigh and frown at your remaining poorly-crafted arrows, but soldier on regardless. That is, until the rustling in the bushes grows increasingly loud, and sounds like whatever it is, it's right on top of you. You attempt to dive behind a bush being as quiet as you could possibly manage, (Stealth roll: 16) and pull it off, your feet becoming hidden just as an orc would come into view, briefly scanning his eyes along the small clearing ahead of him, before he relaxes. He looks (Roll: 5) not very well-armed, with only a loincloth covering his groin and what looks like a rusty axe in his hand. He sniffs the air, his skin a sickly green and his eyes a cast of deep brown, his black hair tied behind his head in a ponytail. He growls as he slowly looks around the clearing, before lowly rolling out, "I can smell you, girl...You smell...Human...Innocent...Come on out...Won't hurt...too bad..."

As she closes her eyes to protect from the massive gust of wind cast by the Magical Wizard, before opening her eyes to see that the caravan in front of her had layed out all of it's wares in a blink of an eye. As she observed all of the magical objects displayed in front of her, she carefully inspects their quality, being sure that each item is above sub par quality, avoiding any scams. "All the items look nice, but they seem to be a bit.. Well.. Expensive, really". As the Wizard mentions the ability to repair her cloak to its peak potential, she gazes up to him. "Oh, really? Well, the price is a bit steep, do you think you could perhaps.. Lower it down a bit more?". She begins to rummage around in her pocket for her crystal, ready to pay for her cloak to be repaired.

She could already hear her father admonishing her for taking two shots to kill whatever that thing was. Perhaps it had been overconfidence that made her take the first shot but she had been lucky that her bolt hadn't been damaged from the miss. She retrieved it with ease before walking over to examine her kill. It had been a clean shot that had pinned the creature to the ground and now the thing was clearly in its death throes with it gurgling and even imitating more human speech. Kiera simply watched it die, having no obligation to her prey to give it a reply. Once dead, Kiera tapped it with her boot to make sure it was actually dead before pulling out some rope. She was certian there was some meat inside that could be cooked, not to mention its carcass could be worth something or perhaps even the scales. Looping the rope around all of it limbs, she tied the other side to her belt so it would hang behind her but hidden by her cloak. With the encounter done, Kiera stood up, ready to continue her journey towards the woods. If anything it would provide some protection if night fell and she was still inside.

Taking advantage of the poor organization of the group of goblins Vyn strikes two down successfully, each kill adding to the adrenaline of combat as she watches the leader attempt to maintain control his friends. Preparing for the goblins to surround her she was unprepared for the goblins ferocious war charge, the sudden tenseness of her body causing her to freeze in place as the goblin collides with her not only knocking her over but also causing her to fade in and out of consciousness. By the time she regains some clarity it is far too late, the goblins have already surrounded her and one has even mounted her chest. A sense of urgency runs through her as she feels them grab at her shoes and belt, pulling her wrists from the goblins at her sides she flails wildly but at such a disadvantage in this position she is unable to change anything except further frustrate her attackers, seeing the club come down luckily not on her soft face but still painfully down on her sensitive ear, the pain combined with the sudden pressure on her throat distracting her far too much to offer enough resistance to keep her katana or even her pants, depending on how quickly the goblins worked Vyn would attempt to use her strength to free her legs and flexibility to raise her legs to grab onto the one choking her hoping to wrestle him off of her.

Rukarra grins as she finds some berries on the body, knowing that she could eat them later if she got really hungry and couldn't find any meat. As she was making her way there she jumped back at something coming out of the forest at her, an imp from what it appeared. She growls as it does its incantation as she rushes at it, only to be hit by whatever it had thrown at her... suddenly making her a bit steamy. Her mind becomes a haze as she feels the need to stimulate herself, let alone the imp in front of her as she drops her axes beside her and kneels down, her green cheeks a red hue as she unclasps her leather bra, allowing it to fall down to the ground with her aching breasts free of their prison. She crawls forwards towards the imp, one hand reaching under the loincloth to pull out the bulge he was hiding from her and pressing it against her breasts, the other was rubbing inside her leather pants due to this spell... wait magic? She hates magic. She tried to wrestle the incantation out of her head as she moves her mouth towards the imp's member. If she were to break free, she'd use this opportunity to exploit the rather vulnerable state of the imp to her advantage, if not...

It was easy for Gaen to realize that he was being hunted. Realization brought along him a spark of raw, primal fury which was then drowned by his cold pragmatism. Finding a clean source of water took priority. He had to clean and treat his wounds and quench his thirst first. Then, he was going to deal with his would be "hunters". To that end, when he came across the Lug'ju grub, he took it and bled it a little before sniffing it. If the liquids' scent was strong enough to mask the leopard piss, Gaen would use it, if not then grub held little interest to him. Regardless Gaen made his way into the forest in his search for a water source, alert and cautious for any more ambushes.

Yvria allows her eyes to close shortly after gathering her surroundings, standing completely upright as her tail idly sits off the ground behind her. The soft breeze suddenly turning cold similar to the Northern country before her claws retracted and eyes shot open, the sudden change in scenery offsetting and alarming her greatly as she veered her head and body around in multiple, rapid directions whilst confusion overtook her for a brief moment. Taking some time before she would calm herself and gather that her current position was now suddenly atop a mountain before growling faintly to herself and taking a copper piece from one of her shoddy abdomen pouches and flipping it, she figured that since she knew not of where she was, a game of chance was all it would be as to the outcome of either path she took. It would land on the head of a poorly envisioned man, likely a famous leader of the nation at some point, resulting in a light huff of air escaping her maw. "Fine... down it is then little one." Her claws sheathed themselves once more as she adeptly went to retrieve the coin. Plinking it back into its pouch before journeying down the ragged mountain rage, attempting to maintain ample footing all the way lest she hurt herself in the descent.

Reacting to his attacks she found herself a bit disappointedt at she missed her first few strikes. However the shatter shield had done tremendously well against him, but with the mana drain it wouldn't be too wide to keep the shield active. Her teachers had warned her of this before and often advise her on gaining potions or spells that could rejuvenate her mana. That would be something on her to do list while in town. For now however she would have to wipe the smile odd or this bandits face. Her weapon in both forms had much more reach but he hasn't realized yet her weapon is a modified cane sword. Clicking the locking mechanism so it would be a normal cane once more her she charges after him. However feigns a jab with her cane to pull out the blade and give him the finish blows.
Life has gotten so much more boring. Well I suppose it doesn't help if I say my only source of entertainment is YouTube and here. So yeah not much of interesting life going on.
