Already people are at VInara? I haven't been able to beat Blightwall North yet cause of the OP special! Needs nerf or I just don't know the right way to beat it. A little help please.

Beaten Vinara with all classes but tank. Bit of a hard time with Scout 'cos bug, see spoiler. (Tank's gonna be a major pain, thanks to no crowd control!)
I'd recommend going at her with Healer for a first try, since you can get used to her pattern with little to no risk at all.

Great boss overall! The hints are cleverly, naturally given to Eva. Villains traditionally give out hints when they attack, after all. Fun battle, making good use of the different classes' abilities. Van was much more restrictive as for what strategy/moves you could go with.
Sure, Vinara feels easier than Van, but that's just us getting thoroughly used to the mechanisms, I guess?

Suggestion: why not make Vinara buff up her attack pattern when she gets low on HP? Since the fight is long, it would make her less repetive/more challenging.

PS: And thanks on Tiki's behalf for having her take a... less sullied route this time around.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Scout bug: Blitz and dash do not target/hit some barrels (# of present barrels seems to be the reason)
Toxin is still useless... Why not make it affect bosses, or alternatively, change it to have life-stealing effect?

I also get a error when a barrel hit and effects overlap with themselves (it's non-critical: clicking continue just dismiss the error with no consequence):
TypeError: Error #1010: A term is undefined and has no properties.

Not going to lie, when i seen Vinara's health, i died inside. I also don't know how to explain this but it seems during the fight if you let the barrels build up, as in they cover all of the tiles, the next lot of barrels that Vinara summons clip together with the ones already there making it near impossible to judge what colour it is as you end up attacking the one summoned before that instead of what you can see. Quick question on the summon option, is the new style of playing specific animations for certain characters going to stay or will we be able to pick and mix the two units like before? Just curious as the old version where you could choose gave alot more freedom and the animations weren't restricted. :D

So .. Vin was more difficult in my opinion. Van was annoying, after 3 fights I figured it out. I only used mage.. because I am lazy lol

Bug report: I tried to get first hero in The Hive so I put in my squad only Gorgers. After failing battle I wanted to try again - this time game froze with big red "100%" on screen. I started new game and this time I wasn't even able to fight even once, game became frozen right after trying to fight in The Hive with only Gorgers. Even after changing squad and adding Drones game is breaking.
I wasn't able to find any post about such behaviour and I hope it's an unique bug report.
PS: As this is my first post on this forum, let me say just one thing: 4 years ago I saw "Dusty's Castle" on main page of Newgrounds (it was awarded with 2nd daily award) and from that day I was checking your work, Gorepete, from time to time. After being a little bit heartbroken after your post about abandoning "Sakyubasu no Tatakai" and other projects, I was pleasantly surprised a few days ago when I discovered you are working hard on second part of series (which looks just great). You are making sexy games with interesting gameplay and perfect difficulty level. Whenever you put anything on NG you can be sure you will get a lot of "5"s from me!

I managed to get her to show up before the save wipe, did something change with Ioshia's code?

Seconded, tried various mixtures of units even removing the runes on each unit. This could either mean an update that requires no save deletion or needs a save deletion unfortunately.

Possibly during the fix for the unit ranks the code for Iosha somehow got affected or requirement to make her appear have changed. We'll just have to wait and see.

Same here, before you defeat the first boss, ioshia show up, but after you defeat she don't show up :C ... sad because before I can't won the fight

To be honest, I figured Vinara faster than I did Vanorel. A good boss fight though

Yeah I took a different strategy with Vin. Van was pretty restrictive on what you could do, so you never really got a chance to flex Eva's muscle. Vin was designed to be more of a dance where you can have a lot more freedom in how you play, but you have to remember the color sequence over a longer period of time. I might up her health to 1000 since there is no unavoidable damage / soft enrage.

Hey, was just play and not hoping to be testing till the newer stuff, and yet found this.
So yea, was facing those fairy like creators in the first area you can, summon a defence unit to the top row and a dark mage to the middle and left bottom open, started the turn and my defence some how attack a quick unit on the bottom row. and as you can see from the pic (if I did it right) the bottom row quick unit attacked my top row defence unit. please some fix if you can find what caused this.

I might not create games, but I will test them, Then I will give advice on what I think needs to be added, removed, or improved.

I'm new, I don't want to read 50+ pages of post, so I thought I would register and ask a simple question.

Is the fight at The Comb beatable? (I tried once, didn't beat it, got some dialog, and that was new for me so I figured I would ask before replaying it)

Hey GP, I couldn't help but wonder if there was a way to access a tab of dialogue from outside battles, such as after Vin and Van are turned. Definitely not a priority, just something I personally would love to see, since i love the interactions between the characters!

I think they want to know if you can implement a gallery where you can rewatch some of the cutscenes. Since they like the banter between eva and her sisters

What they said :3

Most of the dialogue can be rewatched if you replay the level, but unique levels that have their own dialogue or interactions outside of levels, such as the latest interaction between VIn and Eva about her thrusting prowess would be nice to be able to revisit as well.

Could you, by any chance, include a sort of 'clothed' option, allowing one to change the classes of the units involved, or use the hero units in the animations?

hi i was wondering is there gonna be a class that can attack and move to other lanes? like chess?
or something like a new monster coming at the end of a normal game, filling 2*2 range of floor and moving to eva slowly
i think that would be fun
