8/1 Update:

Bug: After having 3 Stars in Level 1, Souls bugged out got 9999999999 souls. PoW Unit Display in victory menue bugged around (rapidly changed all sprites). Cant buy new Equip with infinite souls -> shop broken. After that bug, souls and victory menue keep bugged.

This bugs seem to occur when you grind level 1

Pecunia Mart breaks when sending any unit to chant (with or without equipment). Souls count go to "undefined" at this point, then to "NaN" after selling anything. I haven't found a way to fix that once it happened.

Apart from that, wow! Great work, as always :D

- It's nice seeing those nice foreplay animations again; the "stars" system makes sense and gives some point to the grinding (beside pleasing Eva)
- Now tier 2/3 equips are aplenty, some more thought can /must be given to the squad makeup / mana managing - good!

edit: also, tier 2 equipments are sold for 100 souls apiece (instead of 1000)... Pecunia's doing?

Other than the max soul gain bug and the unusual note that the 4 star Esurian scene has no dialogue, although that might be due to their limited speech skills, no major problems on game.
People having problems vs Mechs, you can get past them without more than a quarter of your units equiped with runes if you think of the battle in terms of lines. One strong berserker behind the enemy line usually means victory either due to Mechiza low health, or inability to produce more units. Mechiza are rather crushingly strong, but also really fragile and their weakness comes from the high cost units.
Once you hit Esurians, you start needing at least half your units with runes, although it's not hard to get them at that point thanks to the higher drop rates.
Also, the Esurian level after the Last Stand seems like it might force you to use higher mana units to survive the enemy tactics, but so far there hasn't been a level where a high rank unit, or even low level units with chant boosted stats, are required to win. GP has balanced things so far that mixing and matching units of ranks 1,2, and 3 is viable.
Hopefully this helps you quickly progress back to GP's newest additions without lots of time spent grinding for runes or chanting units.

Mechiza- if they summon tanks, and line them up in a single column, you can win by ignoring the tanks, despite their 4 attack. The rogues are stupid powerful, even if they can be one shot, their mages and healers have 5 attack and 5+ life which is better than rank 3. Really hated the overdrive level, since even when sys admin lowers their attack to 0, the units are unkillable with 90+ hp and they can get in your way.

Unboosted rank 1 scouts are terrible, but boosted ones are basically better than rank 2 because cheapness. Rank 2 healers and berserkers are good, but rank 2 mages and tanks don't really justify the cost. Runes help a lot more than gear- especially protect, curse, flare, and poison.

Don't know if you could do this now, or if it would spaz out again, but since animations are no longer played when units are captured, could we possibly get multiple units via impact damage again?

Found a bug in the Pecunia Mart. When I sell a rank 2 item, that should net 1000 souls, I only get 100 souls, same as if I had sold a rank 1.

EDIT: ALL items behave as if rank one, even the ones that cost "30000" only take 300 souls.

Has anyone been able to get past the Royal Way fight? So far the constant Dark Rune on the enemy's spawning, the 3 damage from thunderstorm is making it impossible for me to get close

Bug Report: I sold some Level 2 Gear and just got a hundred Souls for it, even though it's worth 1.000

Edit: Ah, i see it was already mentioned... nvm then...

But i'm really glad that the old Animations are back, they're the sugar on top of the game. Awesome work.

I'd have to say: Very well done Gorepete! The old animations look SO FREAKING GOOD. And now, the extra challenge for unlocking animations (getting more stars for more positions) makes it really more interesting. You just need to make a way so you can replay those animations (I know you might be thinking about that already).

I know it may be a little early to ask this but is there a chance to see some animations with interactions with the main characters(as in the previous game)? You know, it's fun to see animations with just critter + main character but there should be more between the sisters, the angel etc. Well, it's just a suggestion, I hope you consider it :)

Keep up the good work man, congratulations on the amazing game so far.

I haven't had the time yet to play beyond crystal forest, but so far so good :) Everything works and is well done.

Edit: well of course it had to happen now that I said it.. http://i.imgur.com/vAdJZfV.png This bug happened when the scene was supposed to end. Its no fatal error, the game continues to run afterwards as if nothing happened.

This error is apparently related to souls, the next victory screen gave me the same error and 9999999etc. souls. pecunia shows "undefin" as soul amount.

GoRepeat! I wanna love your game, but... i really cant do it. From time to time It's too hard for me and i can't enjoy from this. Yes, I finished all the levels and collect all scenes, but dont feel happy after this. The only thing that I feel now - pain in the ass. Oh, and a little depression, of course :cry:

Found bug: In the market all the outfits can be bought 300 souls. Though outwardly prices are set correctly.

I used cheat tactic with 2 bee assassins and 1 gorger with warcry. 1 unique assassin and 1 standard 2 mana cost (chanting +1hp, +1 dmg). And i kill enemy in 3 turns. Its not clever, maybe, but i too stupid for different tactics :cry:

I managed to beat Royal Way after several hours of attempts by literally using their own strategy against them - grinding Blood Path to put darkness runes on absolutely all of my units, then grinding the opponent out with efficient earlygame trades and pure stall until they ran out of cards. By that point my deck was obscenely overpowered, though, and nothing else in the game was remotely challenging. The difficulty of that level is definitely a bit high overall though - maybe give the enemies rank 1 thunderstorm instead of rank 2?
