It's 2020, Social Order and equality are nothing more than a distant memory. Within five short years, governments have fallen around the world, leaving the countries in question Lawless and volatile. In 2015 a small outbreak in South Africa claimed a small number of lives in the beginning, but as time passed it became rapidly clear we were facing a global pandemic, The virus itself still continues to rank up the casualties without showing an ounce of discrimination. The worlds population remains at a steady 20%, Ensuring the laws of survival of the fittest.
With out Law and order amongst the survivors men take what they want, whether its food, water, medical supplies or sex, violence is the only form of currency. Women have only a small number of options, many agreeing to join there partners at gathering shelters exchanging sexual services for items they desperately need. Although amongst the settlements around the countries and world, Civil war continues to aid the aggression of the virus, mounting up bodies everywhere the pandemic hasn't destroyed.
Outside of the publics view, The US and UK governments launched a joint operation to find the cure, during the journey desperate Russian forces attempted to steal the research and supplies many times, but without achieving their goal, only one Navy Destroyer remains, with enough doctors and equipment to create a make shift lab to start on the production of the cure. As the ship slowly cruises towards the Caribbean with all Radio Communication personnel working around the clock to send or receive any signals for potential support.
In the Gulf of Mexico, just off the coast of Havana (Cuba). An oil mining rig is stationed to supply the area with a reasonable amount of fossil fuel, during the Pandemic the staff during this operation bailed, leaving the Oil Rig empty and open to change.
A Private Military Corporation under the name of Alastor Solutions took refuge with in the iron walls of the Oil Rig. The rebuild and upgrade of the new HQ was a long process, Lasting until current day. With Added makeshift sections, helicopter pads, docking stations, medical suite, communication, sleeping quarters, armoury and Mechanic station, The Rig is the safe heaven for over 1000 personnel.
During this story, you can be apart of 4 factions;
The remaining US Navy ship, ( The USS Nathan James ) - goal - create the cure, distribute around the world.
Alastor Solutions. - protect all innocents from the Raiders, and support the USS Nathan James.
Survivor, ( Central Station Refuge ) - Survive day to day, Trade, gather resources, Find expandable area's for larger Communities.
Raiders, ( Manhattan, square garden Compound ) - Take everything, money, weapons, food, water, kill the men and enslave the women.
Within these factions, there are also various roles you can play,
USS Nathan James - Operational Soldiers, Pilot, Scientist, Doctor
Alastor Solutions - Engineer, Soldier, Ambassador Status, Pilot, Resupply Operative.
Survivor - Gard, Security, Civilian, Priest, Escort, Pimp, Nurse.
Raider - Open To Suggestions.
