if you mean mana then yes.... just after corrupting lust finished the game froze for me.... but I can't speak for the other ppls. ;)

Now I haven't had a chance to play the game yet but how the devil is an ILLUSION ever going to take damage for you?
That shit's a riddle in itself, built into the vidyagame.
Unless the move description specifies that they're actually not illusions at all, they can't block actual things like sources of damage.

But yeah, prolly gonna look at the game this weekend, that one single picture I ever saw of the bossfight still looks fucking awesome.

Huh. Quite a change to the Gorger scenes. I liked the zoomed-out threesomes better.

I'll need to start saving old versions to save old animations.

I actually agree, you should keep the ones from before for Rank 1 and 2, then use this new animation for Rank 3 Grogers.

Also Groger on Fairy hangs the game now, you can't progress past the animation in the army summon gallery.

Edited your quote a bit to save thread space. Are you referring to the damage bonus? cause that makes them do more damage, still easy to kill with a mage. The protection ability should only last 2 turns. If units spawn after and use protection on allies, it's another two turns.

Tank the crystal heart ability using tanks and healers, plus one unit that gains damage each turn behind a healer. mind you that your units will also get poisoned, hope it's not your one siege engine. After two turns, feel free to use your ability and drop in units that do 3x damage minimum and move the siege into combat. If you're getting a lot of units that do low damage in draft, check your squad settings (world map > Army > Squad) and make sure you have them set right. Move any free units (Army> Unit Info > Move to Chant) to chant for health/damage bonus. Cheers!

Found bug - when firy in in right part of choise in "Summon" there are old animation and they are looping endlessly and can't be clik-through. Need to restart all flash to continue playing

The invulnerabilty never ended. On any unit.
I lost my entire elite squad.

The ONLY things that worked were poison and Bezzys special. But you simply can't bring enough poison.

Anyway, It must have been a glitch, cause I passed it later.


But I can't beat Vanity.
I know the logic behind HOW in theory, but it's impossible.
As soon as you damage her she does the explosion thing that pushes you back and does damage to you.
The problem is, even if you have a move left, you can't use it. There's no way to end an attack protected. You can't cross the distance fast enough.

If you attack her you WILL get damage. And you can't heal. Not to mention that you're doing so little damage to her, that even if I can somehow avoid everything but the explosion, I?ll still run out of HP before her.

Wait a sec, did that happen during Shadefall? Because all enemy units there are permanently invulnerable, except to poison and Beezy's special. "It's not a glitch, it's a feature".

Also, have in mind that you have 2 good opportunities to attack Vanorel...

...and that's right before and after she uses her ultimate attack, which is NOT a one hit kill if you know how to avoid it. You only have to endure the gravity attack. And possibly some hits from one shadow. (hint: the same type of shadow always appears on the same lane.


Remember you can send excess units to exile island to boost your HP.

can someone help me... I can't defeat vanity!!!! if I don't defend even once I take 50 damages... even for a boss basic attack it's too much!!!

This is after the 7/1 update, so difficulty might change.
Vanorel's boss fight is difficult, seemingly impossibly so at the start.
However, she's not unbeatable, to some classes. Defender Eva (DE) can beat the boss without any health or damage upgrades. Berserker Eva (BE) likewise can win without assistance. Magae Eva (ME) was the fastest and simplest victory, once again without upgrades.
From there, Healer Eva (HE) required the extra 25 health from her army to win, due to the fact that her low cost defensive skill Dark Mend heals based on percentage health, instead of Blocking one attack for what appears to be 50 damage. HE is a more tactical and different fight, but seems to have the best potential when GP gets to more difficult bosses, since she has a percentage ability, on top of it being a heal.
Assassin Eva (AE) is a mystery to me, no idea how you are supposed to win. Even with a health and a damage upgrade from 20 little assassin minions praying to AE, her defensive ability sending her back to Start makes things a little questionable.
Vanorel as the first boss doesn't really allow some classes to shine or even showcase all their abilities, but future bosses should be similar, favoring one style or another.
Since people aren't willing to spoil how to beat Vanorel and her poor fate as a minion in the armies of lust, my only advice is take it step by step, and see how things work.

As for the permanently invulnerable warriors in Ms. Bumblebeelze's fight, that fight is not too difficult even without runes. Just use Bee to her advantage, and mind your squad's equipment. Some classes are less useful there.
Bug: Screen stays back if you are next to a illusion Eva during the Gravity Flux. Possibly because in some cases it doesn't move her at all?
Bug: Summoning chambers will loop and not exit out of the animation for the older animations. Possibly because the battle animations are now one click for the older pairings, yet the summon chambers still want 3 speeds?
Bug: Eva doesn't seem to get +5 Attack at 20 minions of a class worshipping her. Only checked for Assassin and Mage.

As scout or assassin, your 8 point ability will hit 3 targets from anywhere on the map. Which means after the boss does her ultimate you can use it from square one to hit her 3 times. Basically you just use an illusion to block, then your dash back to reduce damage, gravity happens, move into the empty lane and dash back for reduced damage, burn the next turn, after she uses her ultimate, use your 8 cost from the back of the board. She will die by the second time you use it.

Do not bother with poison, it is useless.

My question is: What is the effect of suppression field? I remember reading somewhere that Tiki will tell me when it's time but she didn't said anything since the beginning of fight.

Just wanted to say that the game is shaping up really well and im excited to see a lot more as this comes out, would love to help with bug searching but Im not particularly good at that..
