To me the scout is the best class for the final boss :/ but the strat to kill her is bit tricky :/
And for the lazy one you can look in the spoiler :/ but it's no good to be lazy ^^

You have to keep 2 alive, to protect yourself from beam, to make big damage with blitz after the final attack to redo it another time to use the special before killing her... hard to find, difficult to make, but I kinda love it seriously GP you are a genius for the weird strat XD

Oh i found another one. Using Blitz with the Scout, if a mirror eva is not on the boss squares, it doesn't deal damage to the boss (Vanorel). Such a troublesome ultimate :|

Can I make some suggestions? First, for the items, instead of having a list of each individual item (where it is difficult to see easily), make a list of the different items with the number of each of them. So, instead of having multiple times the same outfit/rune, you have it one time with how many you have it in stock. (I think it's doable and will make the save lighter).

Second: Do the same with the unit (I don't know if it's still doable since the game is this far). The idea is: instead of assigning an unit to a position in your squadron, you select the position and then the unit. Indeed: the units that you don't use in battle does nothing, so why should we equip them?
Here is the idea more developed: instead of having your list of units as main menu, you have the squadron menu. You select a position, select a race (same as the object before. Instead of having multiple times the same race, only one times with how many in stock), the items that goes with it, and finished. No more big list of unit, no more unit with equipment in reserve. Only the units in the squadron are equipped. No more big list of items/unit. Only the number in stock/reserve.
And same thing for the summon menu: You select the race, the equipment and goes for it. (No need to check/show the full stock there: just check if you have 0, 1 or more than 1) (A bit more detailed: as for now, you have two squares showing the units and the chambers above. Under the squares, you have "Select race" and "Select gear". When you click on them, it shows you wich races/gears are available. If you have none of one type, it appear grey or doesn't appear; if you have one, you can only select it for one of the partners and the second says something like "You only have one of it"; if more than 1, no problem.)
Also, for the summon menu, if you plan on keeping the same appearance for the same class of gear, whatever is it's tier, there is no need to check for the equipment (since everybody has at least 2 of each gears), you just select the class (Nude, Attacker, Defender, Scout, Mage, Healer).

But as I said, it may be too difficult to change that since the game is so developed.

Ok, not sure if I missed it somewhere, but it looks like units no longer rank up? It seems like rank is only based off of what gear is equipped. Additionaly only the 2 unique armors award different animations (both the same). IE 2 animations per each race combination, depending on what gear is equipped. If this isn't the case, how is rank gained now? I played several maps multiple times with no change in rank. I only got new units with maybe runes equipped.

This may sound like a stupid Question, and it probably is, but how do i rank them up ?

Eh? I have never let units rank up (although experience for them is something I thought about adding). Way back in the early stages I let you have multiple weapon ranks which is what you might have been thinking of. That was mostly for testing, and you currently don't have access to higher level gear in this version.

Corrupting lust longs for 2 turns?
cos field shines for 2 but effect is given only for 1 maybe bug?

It lasts 2 turns, but it only makes effect if an attack will kill the target, at least that's how i have seen it

bugs... a few of them actually...

squad tab was freaking out for me duplicating units whenever I switched them around.... idk how to duplicate it though... but definitely an abusable bug.... only managed to fix it by clicking the remove all button and re add them all in again...

after beating the break the rune description disappeared again for it and any and all levels past it... well if there is any runes to be gotten at the starlit tower pre-boss battle stage. -_- guess I won't be getting any earth runes past this point again... since it actually somehow affects me getting them when I capture units.

lvl 2 groger on groger action with Bridgette only does the rank 1 animation... still. -_-

lvl 2 drone on illosa is defaulting to rank 1 animation (I know this one is a bug as I saw you finish it during a live stream at one point)

arrow buttons on exile isle to scroll through the units there doesn't work.

the activation scene sequence played twice when I activated corrupting lust... luckily it didn't loop over and over without end.... would'a sucked if it didn't since I haven't saved since like 5 battles ago. >_<

side note I finally figured how the boss battle works..... very weird tactic GP... very,very weird... and was very, very frustrating.. you made me rage GP.... -_- made me rage so hard.... :roll:

Ahh yes, yeah I think that's it. I remember taking off armor or something and rank going down, and not getting it back when I put it back on. My memory sucks apparently :oops: What exactly does the current ranking of gear indicate? Just that you can't have as many of that unit type since it would be over powered?

Good! Although I might be changing up her mechanics some to make the fight a bit more interesting.

I have found a lil' "bug" in the first stage when you learn the basics you can not do the "special" kill the normal bee and get the speech with "there is always..."
oh and sometimes I don't know why but the scout (all race) after moving continu to "run"... but they stop after an attack

confirmed... basically if a unit gets stuck behind another unit or in front of an enemy unit the running animation doesn't stop.... well until that unit is forced into a dif one... for example it gets hit, healed, enrage buff, ect. so the loop is breakable and seems to be purely cosmetic. ;)

we should def call this bug the running man! :lol:

hmm... not sure about this one but sending naked units to exile doesn't affect anything at all... kinda doubt this one is a bug.... but I think it'd make more sense to have them affect something.... anything. >_<

welp. Cheers anyways guys. Last post was deleted so I'll rephrase here. Love the work Gorepete does, been following for a long time. This boss was so difficult it actually got me to make an account and post something lol. Actually hard games are a rare thing these days ;)

Anyways, glad I was able to figure it out (with some help), keep up the great work!
