Alright, so this is going to be different than most other RPs run around here. Mostly because nobody gets to play by default. Everyone who's interested in the story get to vote on who will join next. Keep in mind that this makes things somewhat of a popularity contest, and if people don't really know you too well or would prefer to involve someone else you might not get to play. I'm hoping that it won't become that big of a deal though (and maybe this RP won't be so popular as to constantly have a waiting list >_>), and that as the story progresses I can get more people playing and everyone will have a good time. As for the plot, well I'm keeping it pretty close to the chest, but I will say that this is intended to be a survival-horror kind of deal and very story driven.

"If you are listening to this then, chances are good that you have just died. It's confusing at first, I definitely didn't want to believe... Hell, Hades, the netherworld, call it what you will, the grim truth is that this is where we go when we die. You see, our souls aren't supposed to stay intact after the body is gone. Your existence is a mistake. This... realm, is designed to rectify that mistake, which means taking what you currently perceive as your body, and breaking it down until nothing of yourself remains. You see, you don't really have your body anymore; you won't bleed, but you also won't heal, you won't need to eat or sleep... Sometimes you get tired though. Oh, and things here start to rub off on you after a while... sickening squelching noises ugh... I think that's the only way there is to survive." click
As far as characters go, well you can look pretty much just like whatever you want so long as it is humanoid and provided there is good enough reasoning behind it. Your "body" is now a manifestation of your soul. You can be from any time period, past, present, or future. Just keep in mind that your character's origins or appearance won't give them any special abilities unless otherwise earned through the game. I may periodically give the people who are waiting to join chooses of abilities to gain to keep things a little more interesting while also adding to the idea that they've been here for a while, but I won't be adding anyone to the game until the group that's in the game finds a survivor to join them. Usually this is something they will have to intentionally strive to accomplish (especially in the later parts of the game when there are more players involved), but sometimes it may just be stumbled upon, or even a reward for completing a goal.
BUT for now, only one of you is getting to start this thing off and you all have to decide together who it'll be. I'll wait until like three to five people have made a character sheet before posting the RP
