Mama mia. Number of views compared to number of votes is shocking... and number of replies as well.
Looks like I'm going to be relying on setting up a paypal donations account then, because while I'd like to imagine that the world is a fluffy rainbow filled place where I could sleep on tarmac floors and work at the same time for free, unfortunately, life isn't as kind as that.
The Reality
In case you're wondering why I'm starting to wonder about charging, cost, etc. is because I barely have enough money to pay for my living space, let alone my internet. While I'm not expecting you to go "boo hoo a barely started game is going to be disappearing off the web" I'd like you guys to think about the amount of time and effort me and several others have put into my project, and the amount of updates I bring to the game compared to certain other game developers (None of you on the forum, don't worry.) who get lots of donations compared to work and quality of results (anyone who thinks hard enough will know who I'm on about, but it's my opinion, and several others voice that same opinion.)
Now, I probably have enough to stay online, well-fed, and have a roof over my head for a year, but being honest, I'd like to continue being able to develop games after it, providing this first game is the masterpiece I want it to be. As I've put, while I'm not expecting you to cry over a barely started game, I ask you to look at the potential, and the amount of improvements that have been made over this month alone. When I release this game, which WILL be completely free of charge, I planned on releasing high quality versions of the soundtrack available for purchase. Because none of you know how much composition I've done on this game, I've currently composed 29 pieces of music, and am still working almost non-stop composing new ones. But that's pointless if nobody's going to buy a soundtrack, so hell, why do I even bother composing more and more tracks?
I'm not going to lie, there's not much there of the game to look at/fap to yet. To be honest, I couldn't care about fap material. So by now you must be thinking "But Z, what's the point in making a game on a hentai forum?" In that I respond as such. "How many hentai games have you played... that are real games, and not just pointless push buttons to see some CGs, or move your mouse up and down to insert/remove penis from womans vagina?" I'm making it a hentai game because I want to raise the bar that hentai games should have. While I'm not expecting you to play a hentai game and look at reviewing it and nominating it for awards, I think hentai games should be well made, original, and should show that the person making it has spent REAL time making it.
Now, I'm asking EVERYONE who has been on this thread to PLEASE VOTE. I need a realistic and accurate opinion from you, even if you just clicked on this post to get rid of that annoying red circle.
