Quick question regarding the Arcana school, since they are descendants of angels/demons would they have their powers all along? Or does the blood only awaken after the monster attacks have begun?

Everyone who mentioned changes to their bios to me, I looked through and I appreciate the additions. Also, I will be adding sub-schools for when people reach mid-levels. Basically, everyone will have to pick one at level 5 to further their growth in whatever powers their character prefers. I wanted to wait to see people's powers to give me an idea of what you guys would want to specialize in.

It seems we have more than enough people applying, and since nobody protested a Friday startup, I will start the RP either tomorrow morning or afternoon, that way hopefully I can hit everyone's time of activity. The RP will start with everyone solo for a few posts. I will determine tonight how many characters have applied and have an active/reserve character list in the second post of this thread. I don't really want another XCOM, so I'm going to limit the amount of active players to 10. If you're on reserve, I'm sorry, but I just want to keep this RP a bit more manageable.

Anyone interested in applying and hasn't, I encourage you to. Somebody will always get too busy with life to post and drop out. I might increase the active character list as well depending on how the RP goes, or perhaps if I get a co-gm, but these things will have to come after we start up.

Well I just went through all the characters that have sheets, and it seems that only three are going to be sitting out for the time being. Well, we'll just have to wait and see who's going to be joining this.

Bio: The Lilian's are an incredibly wealthy family that have prided themselves on provided some of the finest medical care in the United States for generations. As the only daughter of the Lilian's, Nydia too was expected to study medicine and follow in her family's footsteps. The pressure to succeed was immense but Nydia flourished under her family's tutelage and learned at a rapid pace. And so long as she received perfect marks she wanted for nothing in life. This has led to Nydia having a bit of a spoiled personality, she is very accustomed to getting her way and tends to look down on others, but she also is fueled by a genuine desire to help others with her gift for medicine. Nydia was attending her final year of university when her powers awakened. She had stayed late to study in the school library and ran into a mugger on her way home. There was no way she would willingly give anything to a petty thief so naturally she resisted and when the mugger attempted to hit her his fist stopped just in front of her and he began to howl in pain as though he had just punched a brick wall. Nydia was shocked when the MHD came to recruit her the following day. Though her parents disapproved of her postponing her education, Nydia saw this as an opportunity to help in whatever way she could and gladly joined.

Flattery- Growing up in the upper echelons of society, Nydia attended numerous high class events and became skilled in gaining favor via well chosen words.
Psychic School: Angel Arcana
Psychic Power: Angelic Barrier- Nydia can create a kinetic barrier around herself or any person nearby that absorbs or at least lessens force directed at the barrier.
Electric Touch- Nydia can electrify her body, shocking anyone she touches.
Equipment: A medical encyclopedia for reference, a case with medicines to treat a common ailments and other medical tools she may need.

They're rare. The players are the only ones making up the MHD, but you will encounter others who may be friends, foes, or even neutral.

If you increase your WIS or CON, your HP and LP will go up accordingly.

Ah, that's good to know. I just was wondering if we don't get a Wis+6 to our LP or if lust damage is going to be left at a lower number as we level up.

Seeing as getting over 70hp at level 5 is currently quite possible and having 6-22LP in comparison seems interesting.

No, LP won't go up unless you increase WIS.

Nvm found it, i'd imagine HP will be more important in this RP since we'll be getting so much of it and LP will only be against certain enemies or goes up down much slower than HP

Well, all creatures will likely do HP and LP, but LP is just something that will be on a set scale. Creatures won't effect LP more as you get stronger, they'll affect it the same at every level.
