→ Try to talk down the Broodmother, and maybe diffuse this situation.

> Mana Decided the that if the Drake mother can talk, there may be a diplomatic solution around this kerfuffle and possibly diffuse this situation.
She looks at the mass of angered, flailing adventurers and adult drakes. None of them seem to be paying much attention to her, so she decides to sneak around the crowd and approach the Drake mother directly. Is this a good Idea? Possibly not, but its worth a try.
She sneakily moves around to behind the adult drakes without any problems. In her attempt to keep her eyes on the mother’s vanguard, She backs up directly into the Brood mother’s leg.
A chill runs up Mana’s spine, feeling the scaley skin against her back. She mutters a quiet ‘oops’ as she slowly looks up at the elder drake.

>The Brood mother stares down at Mana, examining the small creature before her. She cranes her neck over the neko and examines Mana closer. “What’s this? Squiggly Creature? Not warrior. What is?”
Mana quickly calms herself and looks up at at the Drake mother, and forces herself to croak out: “I’m Mana, ma’am.”
The elder drake twists her head and chirps in confusion.
Taking the fact that the mother hadn’t attacked her for talking as a good sign, Mana swallows and continues. “I’m… not sure what… has conspired between your brood and my employers… but are you sure it warrants the wanton violence?”
Broodmother chirps again confused, trying to process the words. After a moment she begins to speak. “No Conspire. Just fight. Do this alot. It happens.”
This is the cue for Mana to be confused. “Just Fight? I don’t… why? What about all of your babies? Making them fight and die, just because?”
“Not die. Be back, takes time, but be back.” The drake mother nods.
“So you don’t care because you’ll just replace them?” Mana looks shocked at the Huge lizard.
“NO. Get back up. Heal quickly. Hard to kill. All drakes hard to kill. But after Deaded, gt back up. Just takes time.”
Mana just sits there shocked. “Wha?”
“This Game. Heroes also hard to kill. We beat up, take back to town.” The drake mother nods again.
The leader of the adventurers steps out of the brawling mass of bodies and sits down next to Mana and the Drake mother, giving the hand motions that one would use to call a ‘time-out.’ He looks at Mana “Yeah… Did you not ever wonder about why we didn't offer any pay for you to help us fight them? It’s our game, most people have to pay a fee in order to join us, but our friend hired you and payed your way in.”
“Uh..Wha? I don’t..what?!” Mana’s utter confusion persists.
“Drakes are like crows in many sense, they like to collect shiny things. So we come in, and if we win, we take the stuff they collected. If they win, they take our equipment. It’s pretty fair on both sides.” He laughs. “And don’t worry about the ones you skinned. They’ll be back up in no time at all.”
Mana sits down next to the leaders of the two factions, and attempts to figure out what the heck is happening…

Commentary: Oh gawd, my side! Can't stop laughing!!!
Ok, so now that we know that these things can take a serious beating and not die, I REALLY want one to come with us!

Input 1: (I'm putting my inputs in spoilers because my brain is running at 1000 MPH and I'm just trying to keep up. Sorry for the inconvenience.)
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Ask the brood mother if when this is over she'd mind letting one of her babies tag along with Mana on her adventures. Explain that if it does, it might get to fight new things and thus get strong faster than if it stays here. Also, it will likely get the chance to find more shiny objects if it stays with us, since we tend to go places a drake wouldn't normally think to go. (If this works, we should probably make sure the one we get can follow orders well; wouldn't want one that flies in and steals from a jewelry shop when we're not looking, only to then have us get blamed!)
Input 2:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Once again ask the mother a question. This time, if we came back with lots of shiny things, would she like to make a trade? We'd hate to just barge in, kill her kids, and steal skins if we can work out some kind of deal. Say... One shiny thing for one skin? lots of big shiny things for her skin? keep in mind, I doubt this will work but I also doubted that talking things out was a good idea!
Input 3:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

jump back in the fray and have some more fun! Also check a "dead" drake's mouth; I have a hunch we might find something awesome! (Check my last comment in the "under the hood" thread to find out what I mean.) If we find what I think we will, we may need to borrow an empty bottle or two from one of the adventurers.
If it exists, I have it for sale! If it doesn't exist, I probably have it for sale!

join the fun! at the least its a good chance to get some combat practice in. aside from that? yeah i am cool with negotiating for a drake to come with us. Opinion 2!: either A the drunkard lied to us about it probably not talking as they clearly have a verbal agreement about this whole thing. or B, WE HAVE BEEN CHARMED! the drake surprises us and begins yacking away and explains there was never any risk, its all fun, nothing dies even when hacked up and skinned? BULLSHIT. look at the dazed face and everything and tell me we are in our right mind.

This is a) hilarious and b) genius xD

Since we now know that drakes are very durable, having one as a pet/companion could be very useful. Ask the broodmother about this. Maybe she has an unusually gifted one that would like to go on an adventure? Or maybe they have to be raised from hatching for that to work?

Extremely important: Ask the broodmother about the strange woman with her blood store in the basement.

Join the fun #1: This could be a very good way to train some fighting. However, charging right in might not be clever. Ask the broodmother for a sparring partner?

Join the fun #2: Figure out how male drake anatomy works... you know... just in case... They do seem to be at least partly sentient, so they may even be requirement for the main quest.

Explore: Have we seen everything of the tower yet? (-> Ask the broodmother yet again? Don't pester her too much.)

Oh, and I mean all of the above, this is no multiple choice thing :P

→ Join the fun

> Several minutes of stunned confusion later, Mana has begun to accept the mind-shattering reality of the situation. She asks the leader of the party how much they have to pay the drakes to do this.
“15 gold per person, each time we do it. If you’d like to join us regularly, we do it like once per month.”
Mana slowly nods. She stands and begins walking toward the party. Her boss went so far as to pay her way, might as well join in! She pulls her knife and jumps into the fray.
A bit of time later, the catgirl ducks out of the fight a few knife tricks and bite marks richer. (1 HP lost, +1 to small arms)

→ Ask the broodmother if she can take one of her babies on an adventure.

>After having a fair share of bites from the little buggers, and knowing they’re pretty durable, she decides to ask the broodmother is she could take one along with her on her adventures.
She is met with a conclusive “No.”
In hindsight, she guesses that she wouldn’t be too keen on somebody taking her babies either.

→ Ask how much it would cost for her skin.

>Mana asks.
The Drake mother looks up into the air and thinks. “15 gold. Chance to fight. If win, take skin!” The Elder dragon chirps happily at the fact she managed to rhyme.

→ Figure out how male drakes work.

>Mana sits down with a few of the other resting adventurers, and lets out a bit of a tired sigh.
Looking around, she notices that she can’t actually tell which of the Drakes are males or females. Considering that these creatures know how to talk, her ‘little project’ may include them as well. She sits there looking stumped by the lack of major distinction between the drake’s sexes / lack of dangly bits.
A lapinette woman comes over to Mana and bandages her up (1 HP gained). After finishing up on Mana, the woman takes a seat next to her. “You look a wee Vexed, Miss.”
Mana nods. “Yeah, I’m just trying to figure these little guys out...”
The Rabbit-woman chuckles. “Aye? is’sat so? Ye should ask me about them. I’ve been playin’ with these darlings fer years. And speaking of years, a lot of these babies are probably older than you are. The ones comin’ up to yer knee are about 10, the ones as tall as you and I are about 40, I’d say. Queeny is prolly ‘bout 250 years I’d guess.” She laughs “I’m telling you this so that you’re careful when calling them little, the ones already learning to speak may take offense.”
Mana brightens up a bit knowing that theres an expert concerning drakes around, then blushes lightly concerning her intended line of questioning. “How do you tell which are boys and girls. It’s hard to tell even if you look under them…”
The woman laughs. “Ye have to look at their cheeks! Females have spikes, Males have fins. And I suspect it would be a little hard to tell by looking between their legs; they keep all of their tackle safe inside.”
Mana nods slowly and thanks the Lapin lady.
“Aye! if ye have anymore questions about our Lizard friends, ask for Ellie.” She pitches Mana a big smile.

>After her little discussion With Ellie, Mana goes exploring around the tower again. Many of the previously ‘dead’ drakes are roaming around again, barking at each other and hopping around. She notices that a large portion of drakes in this Tower are females. She finds it slightly hard to find a male drake, due to this.
Her train of thought is interrupted by a nose to the back of her neck. She turns quickly to find the familiar face of a drake shes met before. Between its teeth, it holds a strange nut gently between its front teeth and bounces happily.
Mana laughs “Well hello again! How are you…” She looks at its cheeks finding fin like adornments. “oh… how are you sir!” She pats the drakes neck and continues. “I don’t know if you are one thats learning to speak, but I see now why you weren’t interested in fighting. Guess you don’t enjoy the little game the adventurers play, huh?”
The drake shakes it’s head vigorously, indicating that he indeed does not enjoy the ‘game’ and also that he seems to understand what Mana is saying.
She looks around, surveying the area and finding that there are not any other drakes around. Her ears perk. She turns and looks at the friendly drake. “So sweetie, do you want to help me out?”
The drake twists his head curiously.
“I… am studying different creatures… and I don’t know much about drakes. Would you want to show me… what you use to mate with a female?” She says, picking her words wisely, not sure how well the drake understands language.
The drake backs up and sits on his haunches, his head shifts around as her looks up into the air, seemingly trying to decide what to do.
Mana sticks out her tongue and points. “I’ll help you clean it?”
The drake looks at her and nods. He swallows the nut he was carrying, and rears all the way back on his hind haunches. His body bends forward and his tongue flicks out of his mouth and licks a slit on his belly. A moment later, a red bulbous rod emerges from his belly.
Mana approaches slowly and kneels in front of him. She gently takes his rod in her palm, and looks it over. She had never seen any lizard-like creatures before in this way. She makes a loud gulping noise. She knew that she may have to do something like this at some point in order to get the Conquerors Seal, and she had promised the drake. She licks the tip of the Drakes member, and begins to take it into her mouth. Mana suckles on the drake, taking more in until she feels him at the back of her mouth. She begins moving back and forth on his length; using her tongue to massage what is presently in her mouth.
She feels the drake shift above her and hears its begin breathing more heavily. She had previously tried stuff like this on analogues, and finds it a bit of a relief that she’s half decent at it. She backs off of him for a second and takes a deep breath “Time for the coup de’ grace…”
She straightens her neck and concentrates on not gagging, as she takes him deeper into her throat. She definitely doesn’t have a taste for this, but after only a few unpleasant seconds she feels the drake bucking.

>She’s shocked at the swift climax, backing off of him and coughing up the drakes cum.
The drake stands there for a minute, shaking as rivulets of spooge is ejected from the tip of his member. He collapses on his side, breathing heavily.
Mana coughs until her throat is clear.

Commentary: Well... I'll take this instead. Also kudos Mana, you'll be getting that Conqueror's Seal in no time! *claps*

Input: Say goodbye to the drake, give him a kiss, and head back to Ellie to learn a little more on the drakes' sexual cycle, maybe ask about the large amount of females? (We need all the info!)

+1 to everything VintageBass just said... BUT we may want to clean up a bit before the other adventurers see us. Also, even if it wasn't, it wouldn't hurt to tell the nice drake that we had fun bobbing his knob and if he'd like to see us again, just ask for Mana whenever the other guys come around. (It never hurts to have someone who's happy to see you coming. That, and who knows? Maybe at some point in the future he can convince his mom to let him come out and play with us!)

You completely avoided asking about the woman in the basement, though. Ask the broodmother about it!

Additional input: Not to sound racist towards drakes or anything, but we might want to consider putting our slave collar on this one so we can tell him apart from the others. Ask if he'd like to wear something that will tell all the other adventurers who come in here that he's not part of the game, and that he won't attack them if they don't attack him. If he says yes, pop on his new collar and make absolutely sure you remember to let all the other adventurers know that the drake wearing a collar is our friend and from now on does NOT wish to be part of the game. In fact, the only reason left for anyone to attack him is if they're trying to be an ass!

<Insert puns about tower diving and cats+long john cream filling.> Eliee seems to know a bit about beasts perhaps she could give Mana a hint on any of the animal ingredients for her -Transmutation Tinctures. Also need to make a note to ask Ano and Sibin about the old woman.and the illusion/basement.

Edit: Long term it may be worth planning to invest in cooperation with Sis and Ano for the Raunchy Research goal. But I suspect that will eat more than a little coin.

How about Mana conqoured or Mana triumphant?
By that I mean Mana collared, bound in some fashion and enjoying something intense. Or a dominant Mana similarly enjoying her use/punishment of a prisoner/slave.

Similarly a soaked Mana cleaning off the sweat and grime from adventuring. A cosplay Mana or Mana if she were transformed into something else or a different setting(Sci Fi-Modern-Steampunk-Eastern-Primitive- ect).

Ahh and if its a vote either of my first two ideas has mine.
