Harmony:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The landing is successful and goes off without a hitch, the control tower directing you to a free birth.

Yuena is unable to make any headway with the Captain's little black book, without a cipher or some clue to start working off. It doesn't look like the captain used this code or any of the other jobs in the books that you knew about.

In the med-bay Samantha starts prepping the body of the Captain for transport. Niamh sticks her head in, looking like she came to help but quickly runs off when she sees him lying on the slab. You hear the cargo bay doors opening and look in time to see her disappearing into crowd on the docks, tears streaming from her eyes.

In the cargo bay, Madame Chi has assembled her girls. They stand in a line waiting to disembark, wrapped in a red cloak that completely obscures their body and a white headdress, except for Chi who wears black. Their possessions sit in a cart next to them.

Outside a group of technicians start to approach the ship, checking the moorings as they wait for the Captain

Voff:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Starting Cash: 40
Starting Salvage: 1

"And stay out, Robo-Freak!"

You hit the ground hard, rolling in the dust as you try to recover your feet. Your gear comes sailing down the ramp next and you manage to dodge most of what is pelted at you. Overall it's not the worst ending of a job you've had, not the best, but still not the worst. Dusting yourself off you gather your bags before the gutter trash the invests the port makes off with any of it. As you start to walk off you see another junker pulling into port, kicking even more dust up as it lands. It looks like an old Firefly, cothered in rust and filth it looks even more dilapidated than the rig you just got kicked off.

Looking around shows only a few other vessels in port in at the moment.

Sammy covers the body and puts it onto a cart to transport. Seeing Niamh look in briefly and then run off Sammy shouts after her, "Niamh wait!", "Shit." she mutters to herself.

Reaching the cargo bay with the cart in tow, Sammy stops by Madame Chi and says, "My apologies, Madame everything that occurred during this trip was accidental, and I am sorry if we caused you any disturbances. However, with that being said, we will need to receive payment in some form for our service to you."

After hearing an acceptable response from Madame Chi, Sammy says over the radio, "Anyone wanting to pay their last respects to the captain, I am in the cargo bay about to leave."

Afterwards, Sammy goes out of the ship, and stops near the technicians, and says, " We had, complications, on our journey here, if you need to speak to someone in charge you can talk to one of the girls inside, ask for Jamie, she should be able to answer all your questions about the ship. I will be back later to discuss needs, if repairs will be necessary."

After talking to the technicians, Sammy heads to the nearest cemetery, looking for a place to bury the captain.

As he was dusting himself off Deck did his best to maintain a calm exterior, but underneath his metal surface he was raging. "baíchī" (idiots), he muttered under his breath. Like there was any way these fools would have made the trip without him. He couldn't do much about it now anyways. First thing's first, he needed a ride out of here. Persephone wasn't the first planet that springs to mind when thinking about the core worlds, but too close for his tastes.

When Deck spotted the Firefly a smile creased what remained of his mouth that, luckily for the people who passed by, was hidden beneath a metal guard. Those ships usually has more hidey holes filled with dirty cargo then the Eavesdown prostitutes, and better yet, they tended to avoid the more regulated space of the core worlds. He waited for the dust to settle and the crew to show them selves so he could inquire if they could do with a extra gun hand on their runs. One of the crew appears, but she hurries of before Deck get's a chance to approach.

Senyce, happy that the landing went so smoothly, opened the comms and said: "We've landed at Eavesdown Docks, I'll open the gate locks now.", and she proceeded to do so. When she was done, she would get out of the bridge and go down towards the gate lock to check out the Docks.

She reaches the opening just in time to see Sammy leaving the ship, and with what Sammy said she would probably be searching for a cemetery, so Senyce didn't worry about that too much. She saw the technicians standing near the ship, but she didn't care about them just yet, firstly she wanted to contact Badger as soon as possible to finish the mission. She stood in the opening, waiting for Madame Chi to come out or for some message from Badger.

Luckily enough for Deck as quickly as the first person to emerge form the less flattering firefly left the docking are he spotted another one standing still at the entrance of the ship. Even if these firefly class ships weren't all that to look at, Deck knew they more then made up for it with their "inner beauty". If he managed to get a spot on this ship he might finally be able to gather up more then the lousy sums of credit he had so far with all the hidden cargo it could carry.

First impressions has never been his strong suit after the war, but better getting it over with sooner rather than later. Deck approached the crew member slowly, trying to show he intended them no harm. "You there, with the firefly. Are you hiring?" The metallic clang of his voice served as an eternal reminder of a past he continuously was working on forgetting.

Cargo Bay:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Madame Chi curtsies slightly and thanks Sammy for her sympathies, commenting it nice to see that at least one of the Captain's girls has good manners. She also informs you that Badger will be paying out the contract and that one of his men should be meeting you shortly to collect them.

When Sammy goes to talk to the Technicians and mentions "complications" the group look at the body she's towing and start to back up. You hear whispers from the back of group about plague or radiation. The groups supervisor sends one of men running for something and stops anyone from entering or leaving the ship.

Behind the Tech's you see one of Badger's men sitting at a street bar drinking, a perplexed looked upon his face as he watches on

Jamie:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Repair List:
Fuel lines and shielding
FL Engine is overdue for a complete service
FR engine is near it's service period
RR landing gear needs a new hydraulic pump and lines (currently jury rigged to run from the same pump as RL landing gear)
MF-813 Flying Mule has a blown engine that will need to be replaced before it can be used again. (http://firefly.wikia.com/wiki/MF-813_Flying_Mule)

Sammy rolls her eyes as the supervisor sends one of his men back, practically screaming plague. She explains to him, "No, the captain didn't die of a plague or whatever, he died in his sleep, and went peacefully. He wasn't exactly the youngest of men. I have the authority to tell you this, because I am the medical examiner of this ship and have received my doctors license, if you would like to see it."

Sammy then walks off with the body in tow looking to bury it.

Seeing the strange man approaching her asking for a job. Getting a little flustered by his up front approach, Sammy says, "I, uh ,er I mean, maybe? I guess we could take a look at you and see if you are the right fit for our ship, uh, I am a little bit busy right now, but, if you go to the ship and tell them that Sammy sent you for a job application, they may be able to help you better. Now, er, if you will excuse me." With that being said Sammy starts off with the cart.

Jamie writes down everything that needed to be either serviced or repaired, planning to hand it to the Techs whenever they finally arrived, she wasn't going to leave until they were right in front of her and even then she planned to hang around until they actually started working, this was her home and she wanted to make sure it was taken care of before she did anything else, even if it had fallen into this state due to her not being able to maintain everything at once, they just hadn't had the money before, and still might not have it.

Deciding to hold onto his black book she went down to her room to drop it off before meeting up with the others. After all the commotion was over Yuena decided to explore the markets for some supplies and possible passengers to take aboard their ship. They'll need the money they would offer for passage anyways.
Life has gotten so much more boring. Well I suppose it doesn't help if I say my only source of entertainment is YouTube and here. So yeah not much of interesting life going on.

Senyce saw the weird looking man talking to Sammy, and thought that this maybe was a messenger from Badger, so after Sammy left, she stepped towards the stranger and asked: "Hey, what was your business with that woman?", trying to sound friendly enough, but not someone to be easily persuaded.

Job application? Deck wasn't expecting to deal with paperwork when wanting to join the crew of such a ship. Before he had a chance to reply at all the, as far as he thought, way too 'chattative' woman headed off in a different direction again. Sparing him the work of finding a different crew member, another woman from the ship approached him. At least she was a bit more direct."Looking for work. Any space on your crew? An extra gun could make all the difference in a confrontation." Deck didn't see a reason to draw the explanation out any further. From the look of the woman she seemed to know her way around their line of work.

Spitfyre:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The Technicians balk at your rant and quickly find something else to do.

In most ports carting around a body would be the cause of some fuss, but nearly everyone you pass doesn't give you a second look in Eavesdown Docks, nearly everyone. You notice three groups looking at you intently as you move: Badger's man (who looks oddly satisfied) and two different groups of men who disperse into the crowd as they see you catch their eye.

You know there are several cemeteries in town:
Guiding Lights - Where the leaders of past can continue to shine the path... or what ever sappy BS it takes to get the wealthy of Eavesdown to pay for a final piece of posh real estate.
Military Cemetery - set up to bury the dead of the war, supposedly accepts both sides but heavily favours the Alliance.
Paupers Plots - this is where the poor and downtrodden are buried, often unmarked in communal graves.

Your 4 options would be to bury him somewhere in the desert outside of town your self.

Knight:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As you walk down the ramp you see Badger's man sitting at a street bar across the sit, smugly looking in your direction. He waves you over as you see Sammy disappear into crowded street with the Captain, though as she does you notice two group men who seem out of place looking at her also fade into the back streets.

Draco:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The lead Tech looks almost relieved when you turn up to talk business and he can ignore Sammy. Looking at your list he checks some figures on his data pad before giving you a quote.

Port Fees: $100 per day
Fuel (to fill): $121
Engine service: $207 per engine + parts if they find something wrong.
Fuel lines: $20 and he'll thrown in the new panel in for free.
Hydraulic pump and lines: $214 \
Mule: Not really his area, but he knows a guy who knows a guy who could probably help.

Some of the prices seem cheap to you, but looking at all the empty births it's not that surprising he's trying to drum up some business.

"Of course," the lead Tech smiles, looking you up and down as he licks his lips, "I'm always willing to negotiate."

Sammy thought to herself as she walked through the market, " Hmmm, I think the military cemetery would be our best bet. I think he would like that." She then makes her way to the military cemetery where she asks the undertaker if she could bury her Captain here, told the undertaker his name, and what he did in the war, hoping that would be enough to allow her to bury the body there.

Senyce takes a good look at this man, her first impression being not the best one. However, since Yuena was their only real gunner in the crew, she considered the offer from the man. She thought about it for a little bit, her brows together in a frown, and finally said: "Hmmm. I'd say welcome aboard, but there's the nuisance of other crew members wanting something to say in the matter. If you want to stick around though, the others will probably come back here. I'm Senyce, by the way", she says giving the man a small smile, and she hopes the other would be okay with her decision.

Deck grunted approvingly at her introduction. "You wouldn't regret it if you did. I'm Deck. If you need to find me I'll be at the nearest bar." He hadn't earned too much on his last run, but it was more then enough to cover a few drinks, and it was high time he had another.

Jamie looked back at him, knowing instantly what he was implying, but she was going to try to avoid that if her skills would allow, which was close to near no negotiation skills whatsoever, but she feigned innocence and not knowing what he was talking about. Out of all of the prices she saw she knew she'd never be able to pay them and she didn't even remember how much they were going to get from the job they just completed. "What would you have in mind then? It's not like you have anything else to do it seems, so it feels like to me you might be trying to get some higher prices from the few who arrive." As she says this she writes down the prices he gave her, he might just give her a copy of the quote but at the same time he might also be willing to lower the price to a very decent value.

Draco:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

OOC: BOTCH!!!

The Lead Tech and two of his men brush past you as you talk and discuss the repair costs, heading to engine room away from the others. While this is a bit rude, it's not all that uncommon to docks to check the engines and containment to make sure you're not about to flood the area with radiation.

When finally concealed away in the engine room, you notice one tech lingers by door, looking out into the corridor while the other two work. You're startled as you mention the lack of ships in the port and Lead Tech suddenly grabs you with both hands by the ass, pulling you in close.

"Well you know what they say," He grins, kneading your cheeks while he grinds your crotch up against bulge forming in his jumpsuit, "Idle hands are the devil play things."

You feel the other tech press in close behind you, his hand roughly grabbing your breasts and opening your top to set them free.

Spitfyre:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The stark contrast of the cemetery to rest of the area alsmost leaves you breathless. Instead of dust, filth and kipple that is Eavesdown, you see brilliant green manicured lawns that seem to sparkle with dew even in hot sun, it almost looks like someone took a slice of the core worlds and then dumped it here. The office looks pristine white from the outside but as you enter you see the always present dust has infiltrated even into here, the office is still tidy and looks like it is swept often but it still clashes with the outside.

The manager stands up from his desk, peculiarly tall and thin with long thing face with a pencil moustache, he looks at you oddly for moment before you realize he is in fact looking at the cart your towing. Anxious to keep his suit clean, he struts over but keeps his distance, extending a long bony arm to shake your hand as he introduces himself as Ophelia Andersen, Head Mortician, don't ask about the name, his parents were always a touch to far dramatic.

He normally wouldn't take bodies like this, dragging them through the front door, but when you explain the circumstances he decides to make an exception. Turning around, he takes a scanner from his desk and runs it over the Captain's face, a holographic readout appears, listing the Captain's achievement in the war before it suddenly starts flashing red.

"Oh, that's a shame," He audibly pouts as he scrawls through the data, "Well his achievement very much merit his internment here, it says he was dishonourably discharged. Unless you know of some other evidence or reason, I can't allow him to rest here."

Voff:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Walking away from the ship you there are two bars near abouts. One is a street bar called the "Boy Dinner", it's fairly crowded but provides a quick drink though you're still exposed to the heat and dust. Down the street you see a bar called the "Richmond", it looks dark in side and as you watch you see a man come flying through the door as he's tossed out.

"Oh yeah, well you better hope I don't get my floral bonnet," he stammers as he staggers to his feet and walks off.

Deck let out a sigh. A bar called 'Boy Dinner' or one with clientele that wore floral bonnets, and not the pretty kind of clientele either. With a grunt he proceeded to the Richmond. At least it was dark and fitting his mood. The fact that he had been stiffed on jobs before didn't make his dark mood disappear any quicker the next time, but a drink or two did. He walked in getting a quick overlook of the room before heading to the counter for a glass of whiskey. Knowing the possible exits and where the doors were in a room was never a bad idea.

Sammy frowns in thought as the mortician tells her that he was dishonorably discharged. " Really? From what I was able to find out about him, he was a pilot flying in the Serenity Valley when his plane was shot down. He suffered many injuries and was medically discharged. His story does check out too. He has a fake set of dentures and a lot of internal scarring from the crash." Sammy tries to explain hoping that the man would understand.

Jamie doesn't think much of their rudeness, thinking it more of them wanting to immediately get to work than anything else. When they made it to the engine room she thought it a bit strange that one of the techs was waiting by the door peeking down the hallway, and when she was promptly interrupted mid-sentence by him grabbing her ass and grinding against her crotch she tried to keep a level head, this was one of the reasons she preferred machines over people, they kept their minds to the job at hand, even if what he was doing was getting her aroused. "If you want something like that I'd prefer it after the negotiations, provided you give me something to look forward to." Even as she had been saying this the other Tech had undone her top and had begun grabbing her breasts, which turned her on even more, she tried her best to keep her mind away from feeding her pelasure but she she knew she was having difficulty from the separate pleasures.
