This happened to me as well, day four I think, another person joined me, then it looped and said I had mice till they ate it all, no other actions taken.


Yes sadly that is another bug that has come from my inexperience. I simply forgot to add something to that to make it stop.

I just wanna bump this once, in hopes it doesn't get lost or forgotten like most games do, I really like the demo and hope there's more to come.

Well thank you for the bump. I just finished a pretty big update. I made the Bunker more how I wanted it to be.

I noticed to bugs:

On the second floor when you enter the bathroom, you appear by the sinks as oppose to the door.
Also walking into the placards on the second floor (the ones that say 20X) will allow you to walk into the wall.
Lastly, when I slept for the night, the original bunker layout was the one I was in at the beginning of the second day and on, no longer letting me explore outside.

I knew there were going to be somethings I forgot. Thank you for telling me. I got them all fixed up.

I've played through this game so far and I had a few suggestions although I don't know if you can implement them as I've never made one of these games.

1) A mood meter: I noticed that certain characters don't like doing certain things. I feel like adding a mood meter that increase/decrease when you put them in the right or wrong jobs would be interesting, especially if this leads to special or unlockable scenes with that character or makes them rebel and leave.

2)

Age play or bestiality inspired characters. I know not everyone is into this which is why I put it in a spoiler tag, but it is a post apocalyptic world with pretty much no law or governance chances are this could and would happen.


3) More combat situations. Although its not necessary, maybe when you leave the bunker you have to fight off random encounters. Knowing that you have people working in an armory and you're not doing much with the weapons their making kinda hinders the idea.

4) This one could go along with my first idea, but I was thinking that each room (armory, lab, ect) ends up having it own sex scene added. Such as in the lab where food is being created, maybe you end up with a mutated plant that or in the maintenance wing, someone decided to fix up an old robot that turns out to a "pleasure droid". Things of that nature.

Hope these suggestion weren't an overstep. I know you have a lot to work on already, just like the game and want to see it get even better.

Thank you for all the suggestions. I have ideas like some of those that I want to put into the game. Sadly something has come up which is making it hard to work on my game. That thing is called Xenoverse. I have really gotten into the game.

So far there wasn't much to do in the game but I sense a huuuge potential if you keep working on it!
Devour has a couple of good ideas! I especially like the second point :P
Besides that I think you should first focus on stuff to do inside the bunker and interactions with the family.
I can't wait to see what will come out of this but I hope it'll turn into a hit!

What did you like about the second point? I would like to know so I can think of new things to add later.

Hello. Like other People said, there is much potential for future growth in this game. While i am not much of a creative type, there are luckily other peoples works we can use as reference. Two refereces i would recommend to you are for one on chyoa.com the Story called "Thrust", and second a Flash game called "Rebuild 2". Both have some ideas that could be implemented into your game. I'm looking Forward to future updates.

Well thank you for the suggestions. I am always open to what the people playing my game wants. I will have to look into those. I have been on the chyoa site a bunch already. The name sounds familiar but I am drawing a blank on the contents of it. I haven't played "Rebuild 2" so I am going to have to look into it. A google search should help, unless someone would be kind enough to give a link.

Still going? I know I am being annoying by asking, but this game looks to be very awesome.

As for suggestions I like the corruption/mindbreak route for some characters. Some recent-ish JRPG's have had some very nice corruption routes, like Princess Sacrifice, where the character is pure as driven snow at the start. But soon they learn of the dirty nature of the world and are slowly stained into becoming a whore.... Good stuff.

Anyway good luck and I look forward to your game.

P.S. I haven't played the newest version, but maybe some signage would be good. E.g. Bathrooms ⇐ Kitchen ⇑

Like Duplicity, I was just wondering if this is an abandoned project? Because this seemed like it could be so good and there was so much you could do if this was completed or at least resumed. Just the premise of the game was an amazing idea in itself, but an abandoned project isn't going to convey the idea. Sorry if this seems annoying but I really think it's worth resuming the project :P

Sorry every one. This project is still on going, I am just having a bit of a hard time with writing up some of the sex scenes. I don't want to just write a bunch of bad scenes that would be disappointing.

This game sounds like it would be awesome, but after I downloaded it, I got an error message when I tried to play it. "Bunker Life v1.1.2.exe is not a valid Win32 application." It may just be that I have an old computer; I am the kind to not replace things unless it's absolutely necessary.

Make a Patreon profile and please put this up on patreon. I want to see this as a committed project, love the base that you have founded. Either use the subscriptions or take some volunteers to do artwork for the game (or do it yourself.) This game looks great so far, so keep up the great work and give us some more!
