(GM STR Roll-17+4=21!)

This time, you easily manage to deal with the wasp, slicing it cleanly in two and sending the pieces to the side of the hallway. One of them lands near the grates...and is promptly snatched by numerous tentacles, where it is further ripped apart and sucked down below. To your horror, you manage to note that the tentacles all have phallic shaped ends on them...meaning if they get their slimy tendrils on you, they'll be fucking you.

"Curses!" Rondra hissed. Although she was satisfied with the outcome of the fight, the now revealed danger ahead of her lowered her optimism. She saw no other chance than to pass the chamber by sprinting to it's end, trying to avoid the grates in the floor by jumping over them. At the same time, she had to try to outrun the wasps or kill the ones, that came in her way. She focused, took a few breaths to calm herself and then started running.

(GM DEX Roll-20+2=22! Well, so much for possible bug scene then.)

You easily manage to dash across this area of hallway, rounding the corner as the buzzing sound fades, the wasps seeming to not be willing to give chase too far from their home. Looking ahead, you see two doors on the left, and what appears to be a ladder leading down on the right. The corridor continues straight ahead for a bit, branching off into a T with paths heading left and right.

(Damn it. Though bugs don't necessarily have to be limited to wasps, so other insects can appear along the way as well.)

Rondra let out a sigh of relief, after passing the first set of traps. Now almost spoiled for choice, she climbed down the ladder.

The ladder went down a fair ways, and about two minutes later, you find yourself in a dark hallway, which is barely lit. The place is also covered with spiderwebs up above you, which help to keep the ceiling from your view.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

any specific insects you'd like to see?

Rondra slowly walked along the hallway, the spiderwebs not being to her liking at all. She gripped her sword tightly and kept her eyes and ears open for any possible threat.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

(Not essentially. Ants, scorpions, flies, praying mantis, anything you can think of and that doesn't turn you off.)

For the first few minutes, you don't see any signs of anything, although you do hear occasional scurrying. Then however, you begin to hear muffled cries and moans coming from ahead of you, and as you hurry forward, you step into a large chamber that has spider webs all over the place...as well as many women who are in various cocoons. Several of them have very large bloated bellies, and the moans are mostly coming from them.

Rondra gasped out in shock at the sight of the cocooned women. She immediately headed over to one of them and tried to cut her free with her sword, without hurting her.

As you step closer to one, you hear a loud thud on the other side of the room...followed by a skittering sound as something draws closer. It slips into one of the small pillars of light that filter in down from the ceiling, revealing that the creature is a giant spider, and its eyes are locked on you.

Upon hearing the loud thud, Rondra spun around and carefully eyed the room. When the spider came into view, she immediately readied herself for battle, eyeing her foe very carefully.

(GM STR Roll-4+4=8)

As you ready yourself for battle, it coils itself, and then leaps across the room, coming straight at you! You try to dodge, out of the way, but its size allows gravity to take hold much faster, and its heavy weight crashes down upon you. The wind is knocked out of your lungs, and you hear an angry chittering just above you as the thing pins you to the floor.

"Aaaaah!" Rondra screamed out, as she painfully hit the floor. She looked up, to see the spider towering above her, keeping her to the ground with his impressive weight. "Get off me, you foul creature!" she gnarled in anger and tried to wriggle herself free, to stab the spider with her sword.

(GM STR Roll-16+4=20!.... the dice don't want you to get fucked by bugs.)

Fortunately, the spider hadn't pinned your sword arm enough that you weren't able to wield it. With a vicious stab, you feel ichor staining your leg as the spider lets out a shrill cry, staggering off you as the pain from its wound forces it back.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

(Seems like it. She pretty much deserves an ambush by a horde of enemies right now for all that pot luck.)

Rondra immediately got to her feet, focused on the spider and then charged to take it out with a loud battlescream, that echoed through the hallway.

The Spider is ready for you, and while it doesn't manage to get you pinned back down, it does shoot a bit of webbing at you that has you tripping to the ground, freeing yourself from it in the process as the beast begins patching its wound with its own silk.

Rondra cursed, as she tripped over, but let out a small prayer to the gods for letting her not get trapped again. She scrambled to her feet and charged at the spider again.

Charging at the giant spider, you leap atop it, stabbing your sword into its large abdomen and causing to thing to shriek in pain. It thrashes, trying to buck you off as you deliver several more stabs and slashes, your sword and your body beginning to be coated in its bloody ichor.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

(I'll assume the spider is dead now.)

Rondra kept stabbing the creature, sending herself into a bloodlust, due to all the anger stored in her from the humiliations she had already received, since she entered this cursed tower. When the spider finally collapsed, she stood still for a while, covered in the remains of the spider and breathing heavily, before breaking out into a crazy, almost maniacal laugh. It needed a kick from within her belly to remind her that she was still with child, silencing her almost immediately. She sunk down to her knees and silently wept. She almost wanted to stab herself with her sword, rather than carrying out whatever was inside her.
After finally getting herself back together again, she ignored the women that were tied up in webbing. From what she had seen so far, they probably were enjoying it anyway. She made her way back to the ladder and headed down the corridor to the t-section, choosing the path on the right.

(7 turns to labor, GM Roll-8)

Just as you head towards the tunnel that lead back to the ladder, you hear numerous chittering sounds, and soon enough, you see about four giant spiders, albeit younger versions, moving to block your path. They don't look all that happy at you, which likely means you just killed their Mamma.

"Uh-oh..." was pretty much all, Rondra had to say, upon realizing the situation. She raised her sword again and prepared for the worst, before charging and attacking the spider that was closest to her.
