"You would be right there," Madame June said, tossing a small, almost passport like, sheet of papers toward Dawn. "All you have to do is fill that out, and I'll send a request to the government so you could be on the town in less then 24 hours. In all honesty, I make the system optional so you won't have to take that license, but I also know there are other people less forgiving about issuing out these things. Heck, I'm pretty sure you ran into someone trying to 'issue' one of these to Sai, correct?"

Sae rolls her eyes as Madam June gives her the papers, though she just nods by the end of her speech <If by "trying to issue" you mean attacking from behind with blunt weapons then yes, so i think i get it> she says sighing while preparing to fill the papers <Since i would like to avoid such troubles i guess i'll apply for it but... just having one doesn't mean i actually have to go on the roads and sell my body, right?> she asks as she looks in the woman's eyes <From how you talked about it, having such a license is like having and id card or a sort of membership card, so even if i leave it in my wallet and forget about it, it won't really matter right?> she continue to ask for confirmation as she begins to fill the papers. Even if she didn't want one she'll have to get it anyway in the future in case she has to enter in places requiring one, so better to get it now and avoid troubles in the future.

"No, the blunt weapon is just for bringing her to someplace to 'convince' her to sign the papers," Madame June said, stopping Dawn's hand before she could sign the papers. "And no, it's more like a fishing license where you have to use it at least once a month or else you have to pay a $500 fine. And you also have to turn in a receipt for each transaction of the total amounts made, half of which is swallowed up in vice taxes, and the other ten to fifty percent, depending on your deal with the licenser, goes to them."

Sae's expression is quite complicated when she hears she has to use it at least once a month, and as such she pauses for a bit, but then she signs anyway. In the end she'll have to have one anyway if she wants to move as she wants, so it's useless to waste time <I guess any type of prostitution goes, it doesn't have to be intercourse, right?> she asks to confirm if what she's thinking is right <After all i'm... virgin, and i don't plan to sell my first time> after all she could always force herself and find someone who would be content with only touching or rubbing, or if she has to guess to keep it she could go as far as use her hands and mouth as she saw some girls do in the past. She never indulged in such actions before, but it would be a relatively small price to pay, especially compared to being ambushed like Sai <I'm signing this since i want to avoid the "solicitors" you talked about, it would be too much trouble to be ambushed often just because i don't own this license... and also, i guess you'll be my licenser, right?>

"Alright then, I'll just get the first one out of the way," Madame June said, an odd tonal shift as she grabs Dawn's shoulders from behind, swings her around, and gives her an incredibly deep, yet thorough, kiss for a good minute before she breaks it off and hands over a twenty. "I can always do this for the first one of the month for you, but I will also expect something more from you next time okay? Also, don't do any negotiations around Sai, so doesn't know I give out licenses here."

Sae is taken by surprise when she's suddenly shifted around, and practically goes into shock when she's kissed by the woman, making her unable to react and go through the whole kiss without much resistance. It's only when she's handed the money that she snaps back to reality and realizes what happen, making a quite red blush appear on her face while she looks at the woman with a bit of an angry face <That was my first...> she whisper before shacking her head, trying to forget about it. After all, if she already got the first "job" out for the month, at least for now she won't be forced to get into any lewd situation. It's a bit pointless as sooner or later she'll have to cope and find other ways to get it out of the way without doing the real thing, but for now it's enough <I understand, and don't worry about Sae, it's not like i plan to actively use the license> still a bit out of it she doesn't realizes that her choice of word makes it seems like she will actually use her license, so she just continues <Now that this is out of the way, when do i begin to work?> she pauses <Ah, and what is my job? Looking at Sai i guess i'll be either a tourist greeter or a guide, but... well, i guess you'll decide my tasks>

"When Sai was attacked, did she try to do something stupid like using a gun on them?" Madame June asked, apparently knowing Sai well enough to know what could have happened if she was alone. "If she gets in for murder, then the wrong people are going to post bail, and she'll just end up where they wanted her to be in the first place. Since she liked you enough to bring you in, I want you to go around with her when she's out and make sure nothing bad happens to her, alright?"

<Yes, she did... or would have done if i hadn't already knocked them out> she says as she confirms that Sai was indeed about to do something stupid <I understand. So, from tomorrow on, my work will be to accompany Sai and make sure nobody tries anything on her, right? Though i still have some question. I doubt my work will be to directly act as a bodyguard, so i'd like to ask if i just have to sit around or greet the tourist together with her. Ah, i would also like to know if there is a particular outfit required...mmm... what else...> better to make sure of all the details right now instead of later <Oh, right. I guess my work hours will be the same as her... Well, that's all. If you don't have any other pointers, i guess i'll get going> she concludes after hearing the answer to her question. Indeed, if that was all she would proceed to go away.

"You're going to be wearing the same uniform as Sai and be doing the same exact job, even if it is only on the surface level of things," Madame June replied, swirling her tongue around in her mouth as though she was savoring the taste of Dawn, though she seemed to be more confused about it then anything else. "Hey, you actually taste really good. You can take that to be as creepy as possible, but I honestly am a little jealous of whoever is going to be your first customer...well, I mean your real first customer...actually, now that I'm thinking about it, how would you feel if I were to be your first real customer? No better, how would you like to make a hundred dollars?"

Sae nods while she gets the specific of the job, shifting her head to look away when the woman appears to be savoring the aftertaste of the kiss and hoping she would stop there... but contrarily to her hope, it doesn't happen as Madame June returns to talk about the prostitution topic <I thank you for your offer, but i'd like to kindly refuse as i don't plan to take any real customers for the moment> she replies while trying to be polite, not realizing her choice of wording once again could be misunderstood as it could imply that, in the future, she'll indeed take those customers. Well, not really a misunderstanding she should have to worry about <Well then, i start tomorrow, right? If there is nothing else, i'm going> she lightly bow before approaching the door, intent on going out and return to the entrance to find Sai if she was not stopped.

"Right then, I think I understand what exactly it is that you are reluctant about for having the sex," Madame June sighed, suddenly appearing in the path of Dawn and managing to pin her against the wall faster and better then she would have thought was possible for someone without any training. "I'm not going to force you into doing any of this, but I do have another part of the contract I want you to know about, and not mention to Sai. If you get the chance to be with her, then I want you to let her take the lead."

Dawn listen to the woman when she mention understanding why she doesn't want to engage in lewd acts, though she doesn't expect her to actually try and pin against the wall. The movements were quite good for someone who shouldn't have any training, and the non-existent resistance from Dawn made it possible for Madame June to complete the movement flawlessly <Not going to force... so what is this all about?> with a tilt of her head Dawn mentions the situation she's in <You can just tell me what that other part of the contract is. And about Sai, i seriously doubt i'll ever have a chance to be with her, but i'll keep in mind what you said>

"I was testing your reflexes," Madame June replied, pulling herself off of Dawn after pushing her sucker into Dawn's mouth. "There's going to be a lot of people with a lot of skills and tools on hand, who can make short work of either one of you. If anything, anything, happens where you end up in jail, then there's a loophole law where she has to stay in custody of whoever posted the bail, and there's a lot of jackals just waiting to scoop up someone like either of you for their own gains. This isn't just a warning about watching Sai, but also one of watching your own back."

As soon as Madam June once again approaches her lips she tries to get away, not wanting anything in her mouth anymore <I understand, and i think i have the skill to deal with most out there, but i'll watch our backs anyway> she says as she tries to get away from the grip <Though... i can understand Sai, but i already have the license, right? As you put it before, those pricks shouldn't be interested much in me> she sighs <Well, i guess i'll keep my guard up anyway. Can i go now?>

"Yeah, you can go out and make a good name for yourself in the city then," Madame June said with a weary sigh as though she was tired of having this conversation all the time. "I know this isn't the best thing that you have ever done in your whole life, but it will at least be the most interesting thing that you will do in your life. I will look forward to working with you, and if you ever get the urge to go out and...well, if you ever want to go out and go all the way, then I'll be more then willing to buy your services should Sai not want to do it."

Dawn nods at the mention of the "most interesting thing" she'll do in her life, not knowing if it'll really turn out like that or not... counting that from now thanks to that license she would be legally a prostitute even if she doesn't use it, and if in the future after all this will be over anyone will point at her as such she'll have no way to claim that it's not true <Well, i think i won't get that urge, but whatever, i'll think about it when the times comes> she at least tries to compromise verbally, as after all it's not like she confirmed she'll do it. Nothing wrong n saying she'll think about it, as the result of the thinking could always be negative.

Concluding like that the talk she goes out of the office and walks back to where she left Sai to see if she's ready to go to either her new home or to a tour of the town.

Outside of the office, Dawn sees Sai talking to Litchi at the front desk, their conversation seeming to be filled with big amounts of joy on Sai's part while Litchi looked like she was trying to be polite while getting some work done. On that note, the idea of Litchi having a license similar to Dawn's suddenly made her feel very uncomfortable, almost protective, of the fact that she was talking with Sai, and there doesn't seem to be any logical reason within her mind as to where the feeling came from.

Getting closer to the small group suddenly has a door enter into Dawn's path as a rather regal looking women stepped out of a room, the look she gave Dawn making her feel embarrassed while the women asked, "excuse me, but did my door almost hit you?"

Soon Sai enters Dawn's field of vision, and the girl seems to be as hyper as ever, though the other party obviously wasn't and just limited herself to polite manners... or so Dawn would think, until it hit her that Litchi would probably have a license. A disturbing feeling came upon her, but it became somehow bearable when she thought she had, or anyway soon she'll have one, of such licenses, so she couldn't really point fingers at her as in front of the law they were both legal prostitutes, no matter if they actually sold themselves or not. Following the realization Dawn felt slightly depressed, thought it didn't last long as a door almost him her. The women coming out of there looked quite regal, but were decent enough to ask her if she almost got hurt <Huh, don't worry about it> she quickly dismiss the case. By nature she wasn't one of those fussy people who would complain for an involuntary mistake, at least not if there were no real problem afterwards, so after a greet <Well, then...> she turned and proceeded towards Sai. Normally she would have asked herself why such women would be in this building, but then again she remembered the license and glossed over it.

"Oh, so are you one of the new mademoiselles who have been brought in here then by our mistress?" The women asked regally, apparently trying to start a conversation within what was essentially her character...or, maybe it was how she really acted, especially since how she continued her greeting was a bow that made Dawn feel even more out of place talking to her. "So, would you please be so kind as to tell us what name you have been bestowed upon, either by yourself or perhaps by another person who has given it to you in order to help identify yourself from the other masses of humanity?"

Dawn wanted to get away from the girl, but the girl didn't seem to want the same and strikes up conversation with a really strange manner of speech <Uhm... yes, i'm new here> she confirms <And my name is Sae Yoake, nice to meet you. What is your name?> she would have liked to end here the conversation, but polite manner didn't let her do so. Not only that, the other girl seemed like a worker here, so it would be good to know her name.
