"No, you just have to impress Madame June, and I think you have already done that by having Sai bring you in with her," Litchi replied, returning to work as she still continued to work on the things she was working on before Dawn had arrived. "I hope she didn't do anything to scare you on the trip here, and I really hope you didn't let her drive. When chooses some bad areas to drive thru, and has almost been kidnapped a couple of times because of it."

Once again Sae just nods when she's told that she already passed the biggest "hurdle" for being employed, but then hears about the receptionist talking about Sai's driving, and turns her head sideways <Uh...uh> she just makes some sound as if saying "Why didn't anyone tell me that BEFORE i got on the scouter?", but soon after she says <Well... her driving habits are quite... unique, right?> she tries to make it look better than it is, but it probably got across that she already experienced both the "drive" and the "kidnapping situation".

"Indeed she does have an interesting driving style," Litchi commented, her tone suggesting that she was also a victim of her driving style, her face also suggesting that she had lost her...her hymen, which made it possible that she was how Sai knew about the risk of loosing her virginity. "Either way, I would like it if you would talk to me about yourself a little bit more. IT might seem just a little bit on the creepy side of things, but it is just something I would like to know."

Dawn can sympathize with the girl, and thanks the heavens for not losing her hymen the same way, but then her attention is brought back by the receptionist who asks about her past. Sae makes a face like she's a bit unwilling to do so, but then sighs and proceeds <I didn't really want to say this since... well, it's something i would prefer to forget... but since Sai already saw it, i guess sooner or later it'll be know, so i'll say it now> she sighs again, then continues <I've lived a pretty ordinary life, with school and all, but... just... let's say, when i was younger, i liked martial arts a bit too much, and now i just want to forget about it> her faces looks a bit depressed at the last part, hinting that she doesn't want to talk about it anymore.

"Say no more," Litchi smiled, a buzzer on her desk suddenly going off. "Oh! Well then, madame June will see you now in here office. It's the last one at the end of the hallway on your right, and you will have to walk a bit quickly to get there before she gets bored. Also, please don't mess with the rooms on the way there, you will have a tour of the facilities later on."

Sae makes a thanking motion with her head when Litchi mentions that she has to say no more about her past, and then nods when she's told she can go see Madam June, though she still asks <I don't have to wait for Sai?>

If she doesn't have she'll proceed towards the room mentioned, not intending to peep in any of the room. After all, why should she do it now when she still doesn't have the work, instead of when she's working and doesn't have to raise suspicions?

Getting to the door, Sae was about to knock at it before someone inside of the room called out, "yeah, the door is open, just come inside of here! Oh by the way, if you have some sort of wire on you or something like that, I will find it, and there really won't be all that much you will be able to tell them after I find it. And trust me, I will find it."

As she was about to knock the door Dawn already heard a voice calling from the inside, giving her some doubt about a cctv in the hallway filming. If that's so, then it was a good thing for her to not have peeped inside the other rooms, otherwise she could have been found out. Well, it's not for sure, but better be safe than sorry <I'm entering> she just answer as she opens the door. She doesn't have any wire or any sort of devices on her that, so there was no need to worry about Madam June inside finding them out, so her steps are steady as she proceeds inside and closes the door behind her <Nice to meet you. My name is Sae Yoake and...> she doesn't want to add once again the humorous part about being sister with Sai, but at the same time she doesn't know how much Madam June knows, so she simply asks <...i'm here to join your agency> for now she doesn't add anything else, as she'll just answer any question Madam June will ask.

"Close the door behind you," Madame June sighed, putting down some papers she was looking at and fixing her long, hot pink, hair. "Let me be perfectly honest: you are either the dumbest person in the world for taking a job offer from someone like Sai, which I doubt from the fact you made it here, or an undercover copper. If it's the latter, this conversation isn't being recorded or listened into, so fess up and I'll consider you an honest cop."

Dawn listen to the woman, her head tilting to the side when she talks about accepting Sai's proposition, then when she finished she asks <Uhm... is there something wrong with Sai? I mean... other than her driving> as she speaks about the last part her eyes looks away, making it clear she has experiences the "wonders" of Sai's driving. However the expression doesn't last much, and she continues <And, is there something wrong with this place that would need cops to get in undercover?> she makes a troubled face <I do want to start a new life in this city, but i'd like to not get into anything shady> though in reality she'd like to, as getting in shady things will mean her undercover job is progressing.

"What's wrong with her driving?" Madame June asked, either not having been driven around by Sai or worse, that she had a driving style similar to hers. "Besides, you took the job offer from who I could only assume was the first person you met at the terminal and are honestly telling me that didn't sound the least bit sketchy to you at all? Now then, before I show you these papers, tell me: are you an under cover cop or not?"

<Her driving is... quite peculiar> she comments, not really wanting to go into details <Well, i took the job since i needed one. Instead of searching around and risk not being able to find anything, accepting the offer seems good. About being a cop, i'm not, but i don't have any way to prove it. After all, i guess that if a cop wanted to go undercover they wouldn't leave any trace...> she drift off and begins to mumble "ifs" and "ifs not", as if she's thinking about ways a cop would go if he or she had to go undercover. After a while she acts like she gives up and continues <I guess i'll leave it to you> she says as she waits for the response.

"You're a terrible liar," Madame June sighed, dropping the papers on the table so that Dawn could read them all...and realize just how dangerous things were.

The first sheet is just a normal picture of her face from the cameras, scanned through a facial recognition system, and showing her real name. The rest of the papers were inquires into both of their lives, with Sai having next to nothing on her, not even more then a basic access government file, while the stuff on Dawn is nearly thirty pages long, all of it public access files listing her education and occupations.

"Last chance to tell the truth," Madame June said casually, her tone suggesting more annoyance then anger.

Terrible liar? First time she heard it, as she always and never ever got found out... until now, it seemed. In fact, when the papers in Madam June hands come down, though her facial expression doesn't change, inside her mind she swears *What the hell are those guys back at the base doing? Didn't they say they erased everything related to my real identity or something similar? How could anyone out of our groups know of my real name? Don't tell me... a mole?* With her department being the department it was, the only way for anyone outside to know of anyone inside was for someone inside to leak information. In her situation, that wasn't good, as either this "Madam June" was one of her colleagues, or a mole leaked information <Duh, seems like my past got found out> she tilts her head <I screwed up and got fired, but openly firing me was a problem to them so i had to pack up and leave. Too bad my "vacation" is extended indefinitely and isn't paid> she concludes, then narrow her eyes and asks <But... how could someone from a simple tourist agency find that out? Now i'm really curious>

"Just tell me the truth," Madame June sighed, sitting down at her table as she pinched her nose. "I don't care if you're an undercover cop or not, I've got all my paperwork in order, and all of this was done with public access programs and street legal machinery. Seriously, do your cops not realize that the last light machine exists? Look, just tell me and you won't make Sai sad because she doesn't have a jobmate and I'll tell her your a copper."

<That's the truth, and i'm not allowed to talk about the reason for my "vacation". Even telling you those details was far too much, and i don't really want to leave a town again and have legal problems just to sate your curiosity> she makes a make an half-annoyed face <As i've said to Sai i've come here to forget about my past. I might have changed a bit the reason for wanting to do so, but that's it> she sighs, then repeats <I screwed up, got fired and send away on an unpaid vacation from which i'll probably never return, as they even went to length such as giving me a new identity. Unpaid means i'll have to spend my savings, and if i don't want to end up penniless i need a job. That's why i'm here. If you're ok with it i'll take the job, otherwise this is where we part> she states calmly <Ah, i almost forgot. You can tell Sai about me, but you'd be the one lying if you tell her i'm a cop, and i've already explained you why> she needs to set her story in place, even if it cost her this job. It's already bad enough for the guys back "home" to screw up this badly and get her real identity out, so she has to at least repair the damage by making it clear that being a cop was only in the past.

Dawn didn't even have to finish talking to realize that Madame June wasn't buying her story, the glare she received making her feel more intimidated than even her drill instructor could make her feel. However, just when it seemed like Dawn would be tossed out, Madame June sighed, plopped into her chair, and motioned for Dawn to sit down to.

"Assuming you are not an undercover cop, I bet my life you still want to know what's going on in the city," Madame June sighed, shredding the papers on Dawn while pulling out a lollipop to munch on. "After all, no cop wants to be at a disadvantage. By the way, if you want one of these, I have a couple on my desk. Don't take the red one."

The looks Madam June was giving her were really uncomfortable, but Sae could do nothing other than curse in her head the guys back in her department for not doing their job right. Their department was supposed to be a special one, almost secret one could say, and any traces of their agents should disappear... yet there were civilians able to know their identities. Other than hoping all peoples would uncover about her was her past as a cop and not her actual affiliation, Sae couldn't do much and just answer Madame June <Well, you say it as if there is actually something going on in the city> she pauses, looking for any reaction <Disadvantage or not though, if there is something going on i guess i would be curious so i would know what to avoid, but as the saying goes, curiosity killed the cat so i'm also reluctant to get involved> she sighs, turning her head a bit before finishing <Also, please, don't call me a cop anymore. It's not like my vacation will ever end, so it's quite uncomfortable to be referred as such>

"First things first, you've got to know one basic set of ground rules," Madame June said, tossing a folder on the table in front of Dawn as she did so. "The main thing being that, so long as you have a license for it, prostitution is just as legal here as drinking alcohol or smoking is, though not as universally done in the company of children. Nine times out of ten, anyone you would normally want to arrest as a prostitute will have a license issued by their company, and are immune to any such charges. If you don't understand by now, especially since I have allowed Sai to know I have one yet, is that I do have a license for prostitution, and you will probably get issued one too. Now then, are there any questions beyond that you need to know about?"

Sae nods when Madame June begins to explain... only to present a dumbfounded expression when she begins to explain about the "rules" of prostitution inside this town. She's pretty much speechless during the whole explanation, and when the woman asks for question she ironically comments <Of all the cities around, just why did i come here?> before letting out a little sigh. Well, the whole thing was a bit of a way to buy time while she reorganize the info she just got inside her mind, thinking that she'll have to reevaluate quite a lot of things, including the restaurant from before <Wait... so i'll probably just get one even without applying for it?> she asks a bit confused. Considering the place she could have to infiltrate in the future, having one such license could be a requisite, but knowing that this way she would be legally a prostitute was a bit disheartening.
