Off-topicness aside, I believe that choice-driven storylines are probably going to come later in development. Such as, just as right now we have a very linear path, it's easy to imagine different ways that krystal might be able to leave the starting area. Such as, trying to repair her ship. She may have to try to 'bargain' her way to obtaining parts. Or perhaps trying to leave by force somehow. Maybe going through a secret underground room by the lake?

Actually, this kinda could tie in with another idea that was brought up in the:
Something a little different thread. That idea being corruption. Finding ways out of the starting area that include much less 'performing' could cause less corruption and such. However, some acts such as 'selling' yourself for parts to fix your ship may increase your corruption.
At this point i'm just spit balling things that have just now come to mind. I'll think about it some more later. It's an idea though.
