"I am able to tunnel underground, the only catch to it is my horns will stay above ground, but if they don't know what to look for they probably won't see me until I've already gone past. It's all down to luck for the most part if we use that method, but if I get inside they will most definitely try to stop me, but on that same note they won't expect another force to attack from outside while I work to free the hostages." As he said this he had a grim look on his face, he hadn't wanted to bring the tribesmen from the village they were saving for exactly this reason, but for him the risk of them divulging the information from the man was too great for him to try and consider waiting. "Unless you have your own way of getting inside without being seen as well they'll probably try to overrun me while all of you charge in, I'm trusting in my durability but I don't trust the fact they won't try and use some form of magic to bind me. If there was someone else I could hold them off while the second untied the prisoners. It'd be a much more viable plan, but I'm unable to bring anyone along while I tunnel."

"That settles it then. We can't run in now so we wait. We keep people on watch and guard the route out of that little ravine if the information is told then we kill whoever leaves. quickly as possible so they can't escape. Once night hits we attack them and overrun them. it is the best option and does still prevent our headquarter's location from getting out." She shakes her head. Maybe they should of gathered more troops first. Nodding that that's the plan she moves out and sets up a position with her troops to guard and prevent anyone from getting past them and outwards with information of the tribes HQ.

Zereteisomou frowns, he wasn't happy that they were going to wait but she gave him a fitting compromise that they would kill anyone who tried to leave. "It might be a good idea to also leave a couple people up here to watch over the village, they might try something if they start suspecting their men aren't getting away and might try something else." He shook his head as well, they needed to have men that weren't from this village, it made things so much harder than it needed to be,

"Well I only need one person, but who knows if I find it in your group I might be better off than I first thought."
With that, Sinead gets up out of her chair and heads over to the group by the fire. "Hello there! I'm just going to say that I shall be the one helping you all get your village back, and to keep it brief since I imagine you all will want it back as soon as possible, are any of you stealthy? Of there is more than one of you, who is the stealthiest? If not, you might be waiting a tiny bit longer than what you may need to."

Roran couldn't help but shake his head. He got stuck with a strange one alright. Taking her hand in a shake he spoke, "We'll work as equals for now regardless of my rank. I may have earned my position but that goes for you as well, Anne. You're likely to see promotion well before I do so get used to the idea of passing me on your way up the ladder. I'll be happy to help you as I can on your journey. Now, go get your equipment so we can go and see what sort of ladies await us at the mess. a meal wouldn't be a bad idea either."
He shooed her on toward the armory tent entrance with a smirk on his face.

Tribes:

Tena:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The hunters nod, and break up. A few catch your eye as being particularly skilled, but you’re going to need to wait until after this hunt to really get into finding a helper. You believe you could easily find one among either a captured Imperial, or a Tribesperson who catches your fancy… It may be helpful to have a consistent ally in these kinds of battles.
Whatever the case is, you realize you have a few poisons at your disposal, and plenty of supplies to make them… But unfortunately, the only ones you can get to work are a Lust poison and a blindness poison, which you have plenty of stock for. Until you learn a new poison type, you probably won’t need to forage for new supplies.. Although, you could always pre-emptively gather materials, or just gather some with the hopes of crafting a new poison by luck.
With all of this in your mind, you have to force yourself to stand and begin walking out with the other hunters, leaving Sinead behind as the last one to leave base.

Delzia & Zereteisomou
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

(Luck roll: 13!)
You all settle down to rest with a few people keeping watch, and the watch alternating as day fades to night. Because of this, you manage to catch the enemy encampment is preparing to send out a runner from the fact that everyone is gathered around one person, and said person is being handed a piece of paper…
They set off almost immediately, giving you little time to prepare. The entire camp is waving them off until the runner is out of sight.. Which leaves you with a problem.
The runner may be out of sight, but she’s definitely not out of hearing from the main camp. If you don’t stop her, who knows what kind of information will be given to the enemy command? But if you do stop her.. Then you may lose your chance to attack the camp, as it looks like the group is preparing to move on. They’ll probably take a different route from the single person traversing through the trees, which would make tracking them down difficult. If you aren’t lucky, you may lose them entirely.. Which means the person who knows all of this information will be out of your reach.
You may get lucky, and the information that the runner has may be false. But who knows for sure?

Sinead:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

One girl, a short one that looks to be just 18, stands up as you call for someone sneaky. She moves up to you, and looks up at you with hope in her eyes as you realize everyone is nodding happily. Apparently, this is your girl.. You’ll have to tell her what you want to do. Hell, maybe she can stick with you and help her in the future, too? You might just need it.

Imperials:

Marian:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

“I’m game for anything, Captain. I don’t really have a preference for these things, y’know? I just.. Take what the job requires. In this case, something to keep you safe or help you come up with new plans is probably best, short stuff.”
Apparently forgetting herself again, Zana ruffles your hair and grins down at you. As you look through the armory, you can see everything from hunting bows to incredibly large warbows that would be impossible for you to use. There are plenty of options.. You just have to pick something.

Naomi:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

At this rate you’re not exactly what would dissuade this tenacious woman to stop trying to dive into your bed, and you realize that you’re going to have to share a tent with her. You don’t think she’d do anything that would get her in serious trouble.. But if she keeps this up at all hours of the day, you may just snap.
As you try to contain your temper, Morgan stands with a flourish and sheathers her axe and shield behind her back. She bows slightly, holding out her hand to you, and then she says “As you wish, M’lady! I’ll take you any place you so wish. If you wish to place anything at your private tent before we go searching, now would be a good time.. But if you insist on work before play, then I will acquiesce. The three best places to find missions would be the Command Tent for scouting out the enemy base, the Training Grounds for tasks to improve the camp, and the Mess Hall to talk to soldiers and do tasks to raise their spirits.”

Ophelia:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Your subordinate just shakes her head shyly as you suggest sleeping together permanently. You may be okay with it, but she obviously isn’t comfortable being that casually close with someone. You get the strange idea in your head that maybe you can get closer to her in other ways to fix that..
But you shake your head. Now’s not really the time for that, and you pay attention to Kelsa again as she speaks.
“You don’t know my cooking! I can cook very well, thank you!” Kelsa puts on a pouty face, as apparently you’ve struck a nerve for her. You wonder if she can actually cook well, or can’t and is trying to cover it up.. But then you’re caught completely off guard as she leans forward and pokes you hard on the nose.
“And no, I don’t think you’ve got anything one you.. I was just looking you over to see if you were hurt. I am supposed to be your healer, after all.. So I had best start now!”
She starts making her way to the armory tent in a bit of a tizzy. You think she’s doing it somewhat playfully.. But what if she’s actually angry?

Roran:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Anne laughs, and shakes your hand quickly and efficiently. ”Alright, sir. I’ll go an get geared up, now you wait here, okay?” Winking, and with her tongue stuck out, she heads into the tent to get equipped.
It’s not too long that she comes back out, but just as you see her walk through the door with all of her equipment, you feel someone shove you in the small of your back, causing you to stumble forwards. You turn, and behind you are two very nasty looking women, who seem none too pleased about you.
“Who’d you steal the Captain rank from? Some girl deserved it more than you did, that’s for sure.. Like me, for example.” Striking a pose that screams ‘I’m so full of myself I could pop’, the woman and her crony glare angrily at you as they take in the captain’s insignia on your shoulder. Anne quickly moves towards you to try and help, but at the least, they don’t seem to want to attack you physically. In terms of verbally assaulting you, however, they’re doing quite well.
An Axe, a shield, and a good fight are all y'need for a good time! That and some friends to share it with!

"I believe our first mission lies at the training grounds then," Naomi says, not taking Morgan's hand. She's not playing along with Morgan, no matter how persistent she is, no matter how good at being persistent she is. She waits for Morgan to start leading her towards the camp, but she's not one for complete silence either. Against her better judgement, Naomi asks Morgan, "So, what exactly drove you to join the empire army? If I didn't know any better, I'd say your talents lie... elsewhere, instead of fighting against savages and marring your body with wounds." She mentally slaps herself in the face for that last bit, knowing full well that Morgan is likely to take that out of context.

Marian sighs somewhat peeved at having her hair ruffled like a child but as before she doesn't stop Zana, since she doesn't need too. Marian then looks at the bows and knows that in no way would she be able to wield the big ones, and picks one she she know that is light enough to allow her to move about in the battlefield. Then she turns to Zana "Well go ahead and pick your weapons or more than one" Marian says and then looks over at the commotion with Roran she can hear it from here and decides that since she hasn't really introduced herself to any of the other captains now was a good time to start. "Zana I will be back" Marian then ventured over to them, and tapped one of the women on the shoulder. "So this is what a seasoned soldier does in their spare time, degrade their superiors and boldly steal badges, I had no ideal that there were such malcontents among our forces" Marian said crossing her arms looking at them both.

Tena shook her head. As much as she would like to try and concoct more toxins, she was going to be burning the party's precious daylight if she waited around.
Grabbing one of the foraging baskets and a few fruit from the stockpile, she went to join the hunters and set off for one of the dens.
THough, she'd be on the lookout for precious and rarer herbs along the way.
Never hurt to keep an eye out.

When the girl jumps up, Sinead gives a smirk before saying "Well it seems like we have a volunteer. Just gonna say now is don't expect to be leaving right this minute, and be prepared to run if things go wrong. Fortunately though, this plan should involve no fighting, so fancy following me while I get the rest of the stuff needed for the plan?"

If the girl agrees:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

With that, Sinead heads off to the storerooms to begin gathering the ingredients she will need for the sleep potions, while saying to the girl "So then, the plan will really involve me and you sneaking into the storeroom and poisoning the food that will cause the foragers to fall asleep, at which point we will have people outside ready waiting to take them as prisoners, and then when you guys move back in I'll have an antidote ready for you guys to splash over the leftover food to make it so it won't affect you guys the same way. Sound like a plan? Also, mind me asking your name?"

Roran holds a hand up to Anne before she comes rushing in letting her know to stay where she is. Having his subordinate coming to the rescue wouldn't help fix the dissent he was facing right now. He straightened his leather coat and looked at the angry woman before him searching for her rank insignia, "I'm afraid I've not caught your name, ma'am. I'm Roran Invar but you can call me Captain." He gazed at her coolly for a moment before continuing, "Now you're right in thinking that my position may be better suited for someone else and the best thing about that is that I'm in the right spot to determine who gets a shot at my desk next. The funny thing about paperwork is that no one cares whether or not the writer has a penis. If you're frustrated about the lack of upward motion you've experienced I'm all ears and I would be glad if you'd join me for a meal to speak on your merits. I'd even be willing to write a letter of recommendation for you based upon what information you can give me and what I find in your military history when I do my own investigation. If you've no actual interest in furthering your career with my assistance, I'd ask you to stand aside so I can go about assisting the Empire for the sake of the ladies back home."

Zereteisomou frowns as he sees the runner escape, but frowns more as he sees the rest of the group just getting up to leave. "I want at least two people to go after that runner, so to reduce the chances of her escaping, while the rest of us charge at the remainder. I don't care if they outnumber us they don't have the same resolve we do. And we cannot let that group leave if they all know where our base is. So none of them will be allowed to escape." After saying this he'll wait for Delzia's response, if she agrees, he'll let her decide how many should chase after the runner, planning to charge the remainder with whatever group was left over.

"Joking, I was joking!" Ophelia says, holding her hands up in a sign of peace. The way she says it makes it unclear if she was being serious or joking though. She raises an eyebrow at Kelsa's zeal for taking care of her, somewhat surprised and amused. "I would think that it would come up if I was bleeding or otherwise hurt during the briefing." She says dryly. She's not 100% sure she believes that excuse, but she'll let it slide for now. No harm done after all. "Thanks for the concern though. Puts me at ease to know you're taking it so seriously."

Not really giving time to acknowledge her he charges ahead with the group, waiting until he knew the exact location to dig underground and charge through them with his horns and come back up on the opposite side. Tribes:

Tena:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

(Luck roll: 15!)
You find a few interesting materials along the path there. You aren’t able to gather enough of them, and they can’t make another poison on their own.. But you get the feeling you’ll be able to make more tricky poisons with them! you’re not sure how much you’ll really need them, but searching for them doesn’t really hurt.. Especially when you find an alternate route to the destination that allows you to reach it faster.
When you arrive, you can see one of the monsters keeping watch outside of a cliff-side cave entrance. The others look at you.. It seems like it’s your time to shine.

Delzia & Zereteisomou’s Stats and Rolls:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Rolls:
Delzia’s Pursuit roll: 18+0(Major:Speed)+0(Minor:Instinct)=18!
Runner’s escape roll: 13!
Result: Delzia catches up to the Runner!

Delzia casts Forget!
Roll: Natural 20!
Runner’s resist roll: 15!
Result: Runner forgets a great deal!

Zere’s Tunnel roll: Natural 20!
Result: Zere tunnels and defeats one enemy!

Stats:
Delzia: 11/11 HP, 10/10 Armor, Status: Normal.
Zereteisomou: 16/16 HP, 15/15 Armor, Status: Normal.

Delzia & Zereteisomou
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Delzia sprints, catching up to the Runner with ease, and then casts a shockingly powerful Forget spell. the Runner drops to their knees, holding their head and looking incredibly confused.. Delzia almost thinks the poor woman has forgotten how to breathe, but a quick check reveals a young and very cute looking girl, completely confused, and right in Delzia’s grasp!...
On Zere’s side, he manages to tunnel through and pop up right underneath the feet of one of the vanguard for the main party, leaving them grievously injured and unable to continue fighting. The others gasp in shock, and the villagers scream, as everyone takes in the terrifying form of the Earth Demon, Zereteisomou. This distraction easily allows the warriors of the village to move in and engage most of the troops, leaving the remaining three soldiers from the Empire to begin advancing on Zere and their wounded comrade.

Sinead:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The younger girl nods quietly, agreeing to follow you as you lay out your plan to her. Her silence and obedience allows you to get a good look at her equipment.. And you can see she has none. That may let her get off lightly with the Imperials, but you doubt it.. And, especially if you run into a monster, it might be best to get her equipped.
Once you reach the stores, your companion speaks up as you ask for her name.
“.. I don’t mind. It’s Kaya M-Minai, miss..

Imperials:

Marian:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Zana seems very reluctant to choose her own gear. Surely there’s some option you could pursue that would equip her?.. If you insisted on her picking her own equipment, then you could do so, but it seems like she’ll do it. But you won’t be able to complain about the results later, of course…
The two girls in front of you flat out ignore you, except for one rudely pushing you away as they try to parse Roran’s speech. It seems like he’s used to dealing with these kinds of people… But they aren’t used to dealing with him, as you hear the sound of a blade leaving its scabbard, and watch as it’s pointed at Roran.

Naomi:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

“I’m glad you think so highly of my body, M’lady!” Morgan bows to you, and moves in front of you to open the tent flaps to allow you to walk out and see a little confrontation between Roran and two other female soldiers. It looks like he has them mostly under control, as his speech is confusing them completely..
But it may end up that he needs help. That need for help is probably diminished by the fact that Marian has also stepped in.. Or it may lead to a nasty fight. Who knows, especially since one of them just drew their sword on Roran...

Ophelia:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Kelsa waves back at you, her posture clearly indicating that she was just joking around with you about being angry. Seeing her like this gives you ample time to stare at her body, if you so chose, but she does an excellent job of weaving through the tents and other various structures erected by the soldiers in the camp to bring you to the Armory Tent in record time.
You may have needed to go that quickly, as you see a group of soldiers staring at the tent in shock.. And as you push past them, one of your fellow captains has a blade pointed at them! The captain in question is the lone male of the group, Roran, and the person threatening him looks like a belligerent, low ranking soldier. It seems this has just happened… And Kelsa, puffing her chest out indignantly, is heading right towards the group! The fact that she’s doing so unarmed leaves you worried for her safety, so it would be best to at least prevent her from going in there without you to help her.

Roran:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Whether it was your intention or not, your small speech makes the two women opposite you to don expressions of confusion. They look at each other, back at you, and then back at each other in perfect sync. Their actions are so odd they end up provoking a fit of quiet giggles from Anne, but just then Marian tries to come to your aid.. and is shoved away by the two women.
They look rather unwilling to try and figure out your proposition after a little while, and instead, the one who spoke to you pulls out her sword and points it at you. “Yeah, yeah, whatever. Listen, you’re a wimp, I’m just going to take your badge offa you. By force, if need be.” It seems she hasn’t realize that not one, not two, but all four captains are in attendance, as Naomi exits the Armory tent, and Opehlia rounds the corner with her lieutenant moving right for your confrontation...

Zereteisomou grins as they begin advancing on him, not looking scared in the slightest, in fact, he looks more pleased than anything, "Think your numbers will help? I'm sure I can take all three of you on at the same time!" As he finishes he charges at the three, planning the cut clean across the foremost one with his claws. He obviously didn't care if any of the imperials survived, he just needed to make sure none of them got away without him getting something to track them later.

"And what exactly is going on here?" Naomi says, stepping straight into the thick of the argument and addressing. "I hope that I did not just hear you would strip a fellow soldier of his badges, ladies. I'm sure General Miller would be very upset to hear of such a thing, especially when this man here is not your opponent." Her eyes narrow into a cold stare. "Of course, if you wish to commit treason against the empire and its mission by attacking a superior, by all means, go ahead. Just remember that the price for treason..." At this point, she pulls her own blade, and it begins to hum with raw arcane power, "... is death."

Delzia looks down at the girl with an evil smirk and quickly closes to step in front of her. She mulls things over in her mind unsure of just how much she's gotten she decides to test something. "Darling are you all right? you're not hurt are you?" she quickly gives her voice a false sense of concern and gently tilts the girl's head up to face her with a clawed finger. "Please tell me you're all right... what do you remember?" she probes moving to hold the girl's hands and squeezing them reassuringly.

Marian shrugs knowing they can handle themselves at this point she is only a liability so she takes her opportunity to leave and go back to Zana noticing she still hasn't picked out her gear. Marian wasn't going to insist however Marian looked around "Zala do you think there is someway we could cart out a portionable enough gear, like a cart or a sack? I am asking because you seem to have trouble picking out your gear if there is a way we will load the weapons and armor and leave that sound good to you or do you have a better way of doing things?" Marian asked sublety beginning her first real test of her lieutenant as much as she liked the other woman she needed to build her own trust in her first.

The plan was a simple one, it was test to see if Zala could come up with solutions on her own, this way if Marian was in the thick of battle and couldn't think straight, or empire forbid lose strategies, then maybe she could have someone help make some.
