Spoiler (click to show/hide):
There is a slight commotion among the patrons as the crowd visibly parts, a large Half-orc followed by three goblins pushing their way through. They stop in front of your table. The Half-orc grunts in obvious displeasure as he looks all of you in turn before speaking in a gruff tone. "Whots this? You take my table?Move, Now!" The goblins chatter in agreement as he speaks, stretching themselves out to look as large and threatening as possible, to no great success.
You notice that among the many obvious scratches on the table is what could be, with some imaginative interpretation, a name, Kazz.

"Look, I dinnea kno' what that was you gave them there lasses, but we don't like that kinda stuff 'round here, too much trouble with misidentified 'erbs. Lettin' it slide this once arrigh' dinnea lemme see it again." He shoves one of the two mugs of an almost black, frothing liquid into your hand, thumping the other against it and chugging it down before looking at you expectantly.

What few people you come across in the town look at you with a mix of curiosity and distrust, giving you a little berth as they pass you. Its not long, even with the awed pace and occasional spinning break, before you reach the inn, the smell of stale beer and sweat drifting out to meet you. The inn itself is even larger and more finely built than the rest of the relatively crude houses in the town and you spend a moment gazing at it. Suddenly you hear something thumping down the short flight of steps leading to the tavern door, a pudgy human man is rolling down them, and right at you.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
As you almost storm into the tavern you manage to bump into a couple of large men, they're too drunk to really bother you and just stand there staring at you as if you appeared out of thin air. You quickly move on, looking for a quiet place to sit. The first one you find is up on the balcony halfway up the large common-room. The balcony is quit save for a few mixed groups at tables, most of which seem to be playing dice or card games.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):
As you crest the small flight of stairs to the door two burly, heavily tattooed dwarves dressed in just trousers and steel caped boots come through, carrying an unconscious man. "Out the way lad." one of them says, pushing you aside in a insistent but not aggressive manner, the two of them then proceed to throw the man down the stairs before turning to you. "Sorry 'bout that." the other says, stretching his shoulders slightly, "He was botherin' a couple o' other patrons, cheatin' they said, refused ta cooperate when we escorted him out too." The first one nods, then shakes his head. "Dinnea worry, you don't cause too much trouble we wont have ta do the same ta you. But you seem the type of lad that knows what he's doin', judging by that scar you learned it the old fashioned way too." They both grin at you and motion you inside.
