Quelaag seems to shrink inward a little, "No... you cannot speak to Quelaan. I fear there are few who can. Though if you truly are Evelyn and still hold my flame you may hear her."

Her massive body steps to the side and allows you to pass. The only way forward leads into an old spider web encrusted bell tower.

Nodding Evelyn walked forward and looked around wondering where Quelaan could be, Evelyn reached into one of her Pouches and pulled out an old ring, It was given to her by Quelaan herself, Taking the ring and putting it on she looked sadly around looking and searching for Where Quelaan might be.

Once you place the ring upon your finger you can hear the quite sobbing of a woman coming from the far wall of the room. Touching the wall, it feels differently than the surrounding ones. This section is cold while the rest of the area is stifling hot, most likely from the proximity to the rolling magma you can see through the bell tower windows.

Looking at the wall she cut her way through "Q~Quelaan?! Is that you?!" She asked as she cut and forced her way through the webbing Trying to get to the crying.

"Sister?" You hear a gentle feminine voice respond from behind the piles of webbing you slice through. Soon you've no more web to remove and a long hallway filled with massive egg sacs meets you. A man with several eggs holding him prone on the ground shifts his head to look at you.

"Why have you come here? Not just anyone may meet the white lady." He weezes.

Looking at the Man Evelyn gulped in shock and confusion "White Lady? Do you mean Quelaan? She is my adoptive big sister, I Want to see her, Now move!" She ordered annoyed at the man barring her path.

"Have you any proof? Our lady is of poor health and I am sworn to protect her with my life."

The man balls his fists in possibly the most pathetic display of determination you've had the misfortune to witness. His emaciated form most likely couldn't stand your body weight if you chose to walk over him and yet he "stands" ready to defend his lady.

"Proof?! How about the fact that Quelaag let me through to visit Quelaan You miserable little man! I worry about my sister and you Bar my path?!" Getting annoyed she used her Assassin training to get over the man and to Quelaan, Freezing in Shock when she saw her, 'Big Sister' "Quelaan, W~What happened to you?" She asked sadly.

Quelaan looks in your direction slowly but her eyes blankly stare last you, "You're not Quelaag... Have you come to slay me, brave soul or are you here to offer me sustenance in vain?"

Her human body ends at her waist where it turns into some horrifying mass of spider legs and bloated growths. Her spider legs move with slow and agonizing twitches as they appear to stick occasionally to the web lined walls.

Evelyn Gulped "N~No Quelaan It's~It's Evelyn, You know From Gwyn's Court, Evelyn who used to play with you Quelaag and Quelana, It's your little sister." She said walking forward and staring at her 'Big Sis' in sadness.

she does not react to your approach and stares at where you were previously, "If I was someone dear to you I must apologize. The venom within me has eroded my mind and eaten at my soul over the decades. It is all I can muster to tend this fire."

She point further into the room and you can see another black charred sword thrust into the ground, shouldering ash seated underneath it.

Evelyn Stared in horror "T~There must be some way to heal you, help you gain your mind again my dear sister."

"Some have said that the souls of the living will heal me but I dare not steal such things. I will not refuse what is given willingly but I stand here as I am out of my compassion for the people of blight town. I..."

She trails off and then coughs weakly.

Behind you you hear the egg laden man scrape across the floor toward you, "the lady is easily tired currently. Please be gentle with her. Speaking is something she forces herself to do in order to ease the troubles of those around her but it taxes her greatly."

Evelyn Glared and clenched her Fist, "I will be back sister, And I will heal you." She said before leaving and going back to Quelaag almost in tears "S~Souls? What Did Quelaan mean by souls healing her?" She asked Quelaag.

"She meant just that. She devours the souls of the living to repair her own. Not only did she sacrifice herself to save blight town from the miasma but being a fire keeper weighs heavily on the soul. Sacrificing life to her is the only way to reverse the severe damage she sustained. Her sacrifice would have killed thousands of mortal men and yet she remains. Our work is unending."

The man rests his head in his hand and cranes his neck to look at you from the floor. "Shall you sacrifice some of the souls you carry to our lady?"

Evelyn looked at the man "I will do better than that, I will find powerful souls to help her, I will hunt down great demons and other beings, I will find dragons or Wyrms to slay, I will not let my sister die!" She said passionately, before leaving, She walked to where Quelaag was and jumped up next to her human body and hugged her "I will find a way to heal Quelaan." She said determined, even though she was crying.

The man smiles from his place on the floor, "Good. I shall count among our covenant then. When you prove yourself more I shall gift you with the knowledge our lady passed to me before her mind became stained with the venom. I wish you we sucess, sister."

He bows his head slightly and waves a hand toward the exit.

Evelyn Went to Quelaag's Domain and said "Sister, I need a hug." In the same voice she used whenever she was small and the nobles had been especially mean or condescending to her.

You see Quelaag descend from the ceiling and pick you up in her arms wordlessly. Her strong grip pressing you into her bosom. The best coming from her body is almost unbearable and the black carapace of her spider for feels odd against your shins. She seems to be breathing heavily and her eyes are swollen and red but she looks down at your face buried in her cleavage and shushes you while petting your head.

Evelyn Hugged Quelaag back and nuzzled into her Breasts gently, Unwilling to let go of her Big sister, She was happy that her sister would hug her still.
