Nintendo files a Gameboy emulator patent for iOS.

I was wondering if iOS, Andriod, etc would allow for a sort of "rebirth" of the old handheld games. Technically I believe its possible for a windows phone to run any game. I think they said that it is really a full version of Windows. Still don't quite believe it though.
