Life creeps up on you when you least expect it

Also death; My dog, Carrie, was hit by a car around 0900 (E.S.T.). She died immediately, though my sister and brother in law (who are visiting), and my mother brought her to the vet. I called out from work. We're having her cremated. It's almost ironic that the person most upset is the woman who was driving. My dad made us all breakfast of eggs, sausage and toast (well, I made the toast), and my sister brought some bourbon cherry jelly she got from a wedding she went to the other day.
When the fiery moon rises and the frozen sun sets, then the war between good and evil shall come to an end. Until then I, the guardian of both heaven and hell, the keeper of destruction and bringer of peace, shall dream these lives to death and freedom.
