Tim is knocked back a little, but still standing and unshaken from the punch.
"If it makes you feel any better, Agent Ovel was going for me next. Anyway, we're not done yet, there's still all those agents outside. If I leave you back here, they'll take you in for questioning, and when they see your family history, they're going to test you. I've known people who've taken that test. It's even worse than what you just went through. My help will take care of you. They should be here right about..."
There is an explosion outside, and the sound of dozens of guns firing ripples across the neighborhood.
"...now. Just sit tight for a few minutes. Give them time to clean up."
Just then, there is a knock on the door, and a female voice you swear you've heard on TV before.
"Karlya, come out. We want to help you."
Tim puts a hand towards the door, and has all the color drained from his face. He whispers to you.
"Don't do it! My friends will make things much better for you than those jerks."

[Tsai]

"You know what Tim you're on out own I'm out." Karlya puts on her red scarf pulling it up her face to disguise her face and quickly grabs a base ball cap then runs out the fire escape hoping to get as far away as possible from the government and Tim who pretty much just ruined her life.

[Riptide]

Tim attempts to hold you back with his telekinesis.

But you easily break free from it. Tim pleads for you as you hear your apartment door break behind you.
"Karlya! Don't leave me here with-"
An icy wind is heard, and Tim goes silent. Outside on the fire escape, you see that the streets have turned into a war zone. Several prominent supervillians that you've seen on TV are here fighting the agents. There's Big Cockroach, a huge, muscular man in a tight brown body suit with antenas, who has the power to withstand the toughest of attacks, and can create giant cockroach offspring to fight for him. Drop O' Acid, a woman with a Sexy Irish Leprechaun thing going on in her outfit. She has control over chemicals that can do various things, the most famous of hers being ones that dissolve things and people alive, and the one that makes people trip balls. Dyna Mate, dressed in his famous cowboy outfit, continues to blow up the seemingly endless government vans. He is mainly famous for not actually having powers, but just really being good at handling and tossing around explosives. Finally, there is Ampu T, a girl dressed in purple spandex who has no arms. She has Telekinetic powers just like Tim, though apparently much stronger, as you her lifting up a van and tossing it at several unsuspecting government agents. After doing that, she looks up to you, and you hear a female voice in your head. "We are Tim's back up, we'll get you out of here and out of this mess. We're sincerely sorry that Tim fucked up and got you into this situation. We promise we won't force you into anything you don't want to do."

[Tsai]

Karlya grits her teeth in disgust. "And I'm supposed to just believe you're hear to save me? I thought villains like you terrorized the city." She was confused as to how and why Tim called these people here but there wasn't much time to think. She gets herself in a defensive posture incase she was attacked by anyone.

[Riptide]

Ampu T quickly floats up to your location, in order to talk to you.
"We're the terrorists? The guys who just raped you are the 'good guys'. Sorry to break it to you, but we're not terrorists. We're rebels who stand up against the injustices people like us face."
Before you can say anything, the same male voice from before is heard behind you, speaking in a sarcastic tone.
"Yes, rebels who fight for people who don't like contributing to society."
Looking behind you reveals the voice comes from one of the city's most prominent heroes, The Chill. He wears a blue body suit, and has many female fans due to his perfect blonde hair, and overall attractive appearance. He speaks directly to you.
Those guys that raped you were corrupt, and blackmailed their higher ups so they could get away with anything they wanted. They even managed to get some dirt on me and a few other heroes. Killing them did us a huge favor, we'd love to have you on the team."
Ampu T replies in disgust.
"Really? You let countless people get assaulted and killed just because you didn't want the media knowing about some girl you fucked. Sounds like more than just those guys were corrupt. Come on, let's go Karlya. This guy just wants to have sex with you and immediately deny it after."
The Chill defensively replies back.
"And destroying the economy by robbing banks and destroying office buildings is somehow better? There are neighborhoods full of people starving to death directly due to your actions. You are all just whiny assholes who don't want to give back to the world that gave them their gifts. Karlya, please, your capable of much more than this."

You are now trapped in between Ampu T, Face of the Supervillains, and The Chill, Face of the Superheroes. It's pretty obvious one will attack you if you go with the other, and they both seem more than capable of countering your powers. Choosing not to choose could leave you at the mercy of the government agents. You could decide what you want to do now, or step back and try to analyze your situation for a better solution.

[Tsai]

"Look here Chill! Heroes like yourself are the reason MY Parents are dead! So you can go fuck yourself." Karlya gives a nod to Ampu T then gets ready to fight Chill if he does something hopefully her Flames can hold up against his Ice.

[Riptide]

Ampu T gives a smile towards you.
"It's an honor to have you on our team. We'll make those bastards pay for what they did to you."
The Chill has a shocked look on his face.
"You don't know what you're missing Karlya. You could have helped us change things for the better. It's a shame I can't let you stay around long enough to see what impact we'll have.
Chill shoots a sharp icicle towards you.
(Dexterity Roll 20)
You manage to dodge out of the way and melt the icicle in one seamless motion. T (shortened for Ampu T) prepares to attack, but is interrupted when she catches a shuriken a few inches from her face. She warns you.
"He has some back up. I'll work on taking it out. Our transport out should be ready soon."
T flies up onto the roof, searching for the source of the shuriken. Chill gives you a death stare, waiting for your next move.

[Tsai]

Karlya readies herself against Chill only acting in defense to keep herself alive for as long as possible running and using her flames to to deflect his attacks. "Chill i hope you know better than to use ice against me!" She taunts him as she easily deflects one of his attacks.

[Riptide]

Chill continues to look pissed, and yells at you.
"Let's see if I can blow out the birthday candle."
He blows and an undodgeable icy wind hits you.

You are able to withstand the freezing wind without flinching.
Amou T continues to fly around searching for the hidden attacker. Another shuriken flies in. This time at your face. T manages to catch it in time.

[Tsai]

Karlya shakes off the freezing cold, warming herself a bit to bring her back to 100% "You're gonna have to do better than that!" She then ignites her hands and throws up a wall of fire between her and Chill.

Chill tries to blow at you again, and the wall quickly fizzles and dies.
(Constitution Roll 18)
Luckily you are able to easily withstand the wind again, and Chill stops. It looks like he is trying to regain his breath.

T shouts out a cry of pain. You notice she caught another shuriken in front of your face, but she caught one in her back as well as she was unable to catch it wuth her powers. Chill is open to be attacked now, but your new found ally, Ampu T, is in trouble on the roof. The fire escape you are on leads to the roof.

[Tsai]

"Hang on Ampu!" Karlya makes a break for T and tries to created a pillar of fire she could ride on to the top of the roof to get the T faster without making herself an easy target for Chill.

[Riptide]

(Strength Roll 14)
The pillar gets you to the roof. It comes close to burning Chill, but he manages to get away. When you get to T, she looks to apparently nothing and whispers to you.
"Shoot him!"
Another shuriken heads for you but is caught by T. Her head trails along to different areas of the roof.
"Quick, shoot him!"
The Shuriken is still in her back and she seems to be in a lot of pain.

[Tsai]

Karlya fires off a fireball in the general direction of the shurikens then runs for T to get her off the ground throwing her over the shoulder then using the flame pillars to get off the roof.

You directly hit the invisible target, and it finally appears, Ninvisible, the mysterious ninja with the power to become literally invisisble. It also has near perfect throwing aim, which makes this gender ambiguous ninja in a full black suit one of the most dangerous heroes to fight against. You just pissed him off, but greatly injured him. He throws an a undid gravel shuriken into your back as a last resort.

It hits you square in the back, but melts off on impact. You get down without any trouble. When you get down to the street, it seems the battle is just about over. Giant baby cockroaches, debris from explosions, and semi-dissolved metal vans litter the street. All the government agents are either dead or retreated, with a select few drugged up for capture by Drop O' Acid. Speaking of her, she immediately comes over to help a wounded Ampu T, who is currently unconscious, when you and her get down. Acid immediately compliments you.
"T is telling me you did well for your first battle."
She takes out the shuriken from T's back, and sprinkles some sort of liquid chemical on the wound.
"She's also telling me that you need to retrieve her brother from your apartment. She tells me all out enemies are gone, even the three heroes. I'll still have Dyna Mate go with you just in case. Our transport should be here in a few minutes."
This is the first you are hearing of a third hero.
Dyna Mate goes up with you to your apartment. On the way, he seems to be counting everyone he just killed, and gives a laugh every tenth kill he gets to. When you get back to your apartment, you arrive to a surprising sight. Tim lying ground on the floor with his pants down, furiously masturbating with his mental powers. He embarrassingly replies when he notices you and Mate.
"Uhhhh... I can explain."

[Tsai]

Karlya is stunned for a moment then shakes out of the idiotic sight in front of her. Putting up her hand to signal him to stop. "Dont... Dyna if you can, take this idiot to his sister. I need to pack." She immediately turns away from Tim and heads for her suitcases and drawers. She packs light mostly grabbing a few changes of clothes, she didnt own much but this moment to pack allowed her to collect her thoughts about her current situation. She was just about to run off with some of the worse villains in the entire city and shes made herself an enemy of the state especially when she stood up to The Chill. Something didnt feel right, but by going with the villains then she'd be safer and saner than with the "heroes."

"Okay! im done packing, i hope you guys screwing with me." Karlya says as she exits her apartment with her small suitcase.

[Riptide]

Dyna Mate helps Tim up and chuckles at Tim.
"I see Aphrodite got to you. You are one unlucky bastard. I'll lend you a magazine, I don't want you slowing down the Wi-Fi back at base."
Tim just stays awkwardly quiet as he leaves with Dyna, who grabs the leftover C4 in your apartment.

When you get outside there is a black van waiting for you. There is a logo on it that says Fast Flash Repairs. In the drivers seat is a man you don't recognize. He seems to be a normal guy in normal clothes. Tim goes to sit in the passenger seat, probably because he won't attract too much attention to the public, on his upper body anyway. The rest of the villains sit in the back with you. Drop O' Acid continues to tend to Ampu T's wounds, Dyna Mate fumbles with the C4, and Big Cockroach awkwardly stares at you, like he wants to eagerly tell you something.

[Tsai]

Karlya sits in the back of the van not saying anything till shes in the van for a little bit trying to get comfortable with everyone. She looks over to Ampu T seeing how bad her wounds are. "Here lets me help a bit." Karlya heats up her hands a little bit and applies some heat to the wound and the surrounding area to try and soothe the pain and loosen the muscles. She hums a quiet lullaby to herself reminding herself of when her father used to do the same thing when she scraped her knee or broker her arm.

[Riptide]

Ampu T, who was very tense before, seems to loosen up and relax after you soothe her wound. Drop O' Acid compliments you.
"Nice job, this worked much better than the semi-guesswork I was doing."
You the hear T's voice in your head.
"Sorry about what my brother put you through. He can be an idiot sometimes. It looks like karma hit him hard though, he was Aphrodite's bitch the whole time we were outside fighting."
You remember that Aphrodite is the most risqué of all the heroes. She fights crime by seducing, and then dominating her opponents. You hear victims of Aphrodite are uncontrollably horny for hours afterwards, but experience great pain whenever they try to pleasure themselves.
Big Cockroach finally blurts out what he wanted to say.
"So are you joining us for good, or what?"
Dyna Mate jumps in.
"Calm down Biggy, she's going through a lot right now. Let's discuss this stuff back at base."

[Tsai]

Karlya gives Cockroach a death stare as he questions her about the decision, but continues to help T until they reach the base.
