I think the manga needing to "catch up" was the reason why they made the Key to the Starry Heavens filler arc, which was okay; I thought it was dumb that they reused Oraceon Seis, but the way I see it, it helped ease into the "7 years later" world without jumping too abruptly to the Grand Magic Games.

I think the reason why Lucy tends to be forgettable is that out of all the main characters, she probably has the least dimensions. Natsu, Erza, etc. all have fairly interesting stories. That's not to say I didn't get Lucy's subplot... I just didn't think it generated a character that was very compelling.

Waaaaah, so much backlog from Inactivity!!! :?

But those are all good Animes, except i've watched them already...

I've watched that several times, and enjoyed it immensely.
Also, i've seen every Studio Ghibli film, and my favourite is either Whisper of the Heart, or Grave of The Fireflies. (Many thanks to Thaedael for the last one.)

Bleach has its highs and lows. For me mostly lows. Don't get me wrong it started out really good but then story can't figure out that the current story arc is taking a few to many years to complete. Oh and that fight scenes shouldn't contain 98% talking and only 1% fighting. GAH!!!

Eh, both Bleach and Naruto seem to be wrapping up right now.

A good manga I found is The Gamer, which is awesome XD

Bleach was wrapped up perfectly.... that still pisses me off! The series with Ichigo should have ended! If they wanted to make a spin off or continue it with his sisters than i'm fine with that.

It's so people can't complain about the "what if"s when the series ends, which is good on Kubo's part.

>_> Your post kinda doesn't make sense to me. You don't agree that the series should have ended or that if they wanted to continue, they do it from his sisters prospective?
I wouldn't be totally against showing his life before shinigami but i do feel it's better done in a spin off show then the main. You know because the lack of hollows.

You got me all wrong there i was kinda thinking about to show how all the other captains of bleach became what they were in the series and for the hollow side i dont think there's a lack at all since you can't have seretei without that other side with all the hollows in it.

That would be kinda awesome, i agree. They've done it to some degree so they just need a way to tell the story with them slowly introducing the captains on current time.

For instances they might want to set a date or time where they have the first captains. The time between each arc might be 200 years and they can in these arcs switch out captains with the current ones.

Now that's really a good idea. For instance i'd like to see how it came to be that Zaraki became so powerfull that he has to wear that eye patch to drain his reiatsu something or how it was when toshirou first met with his zanpaktou and the same with all the other captains and subordinates that actually have one of those spirites in their swords. And by the way I think it was kinda lucky I guesed that ur a girl and nice meeting finally someone on these forums :D

And its definitely better than the movie in my opinion.

If I may add a suggestion, Samurai 7 had a good plot (Even though it gets needlessly tragic at the end, like Japan likes to do that).
There aren't many useless filler episodes, and the fights are awesome. And it's steampunkish, which seems to be all the rage these days.

I've got a damn Excel Spreadsheet of Anime/Manga I've been (meaning to/am currently/have already) (go/going/gone) through (why in the hell is it so hard to find a word that works for all tenses!?). I'll PM it around if anyone wants. Now that I think on it though, it's not up to date since I haven't been able to go hunting for new anime in a while. Oh well.
