CYOA Tales of Lona: 'Under the hood' thread

A couple of hours and 10 gold later, she returns to where the slimes seem to like congregating. She places it down along with her apple. Maybe if she needs a slime for some reason, she can come back. The apple is probably on it's last leg anyways, and it'll likely convince the slimes to hang out here. ( apple removed)

Input: Helkya should keep an eye on the slime crystal she's keeping and make sure it isn't growing. If it looks like it might hatch, she should make sure it doesn't cause problems or hand it off to the guard captain.

>She finds out quite a bit about the creatures and their habits, but more specifically what makes the crystals so integral to slime habitats. The crystals are not a particular preference for slimes, but the slimes parents. When slimes get big enough, they congregate then compress and harden into crystals. When the crystals get wet, the residue congeals into new slimes.
Heikya keeps that in mind and checks to make sure her crystal is nice and dry. (Slime expertise +5)

When she arrives, she finds that the Client is a rich looking man, choking down booze. When Heikya inquires, the man begins sobbing stating over and over that he's ruined.
She finds over the course of an hour, that the man was a brewer outside the city walls. He was doing quite well until a small tribe of goblins invaded and took over. (Job notice removed, 'Goblins and Tankards' added)

I really like this CYOA of yours. You give pictures with descriptions of the story. Also, that slime is the pot looks adorable.

Input: Head to the man's property, but try to sneak in. Because she's also a goblin she might be able to blend in and act like one of the other goblins by disguising herself in cloths similar to theirs.

>Heikya came from a fairly civilized tribe, and thanks the gods everyday for that; but she knows that there are other tribe archetypes. The one she appears to be dealing with here is one with a single woman, A matriarch/ queen based tribe. One lady for for 50 men, and she gets to choose what happens when. Tends to make the men antsy. She'll have to carefully evaluate the means in which she deals with this situation.
All of this aside, all of this sneaking allows Heikya to practice her silent movement. (+1sneak)

I'm not liking the 25% odds here..

Input: See if there are any lone guards around, or listen in on a conversation to see if they need/want anything that'd calm them down.

Keep her distance, observe the guards, count them to figure out how many are outside (and thus how many more might be inside), and use her short bow to kill any lone guards she sees.

If she gets spotted: Retreat and if the goblins chase her try to get only a few to follow her, then take those few out from a distance.

Input: Stay hidden and look around for an opening in their security and sneak through if possible.
