Monster Masters OOC

So given my cultist got eviscerated by an elf, should I pick another, or am I just out of combat (Either's fine for me)

Pick another. You'll keep going till you run out of monsters in the room, or until all the adventurers are killed..
Or if they're all defeated on the Boss Room by any means. If that happens, the dungeon is over, and whatever loot you earned is whatever loot you keep.

Basically a war party or demi-human warlords are the kind of monsters I would want to play. Giants, Ogres, Orcs, Hobgoblins, Gnolls and so forth. Im going to give people a chance to influence my monsters from that list. A kind of pick your poison. And it gives me a bit more fun.

So let's start off with the minions. There are three slots to pick from so here we go. The three with the most votes wins. Pick your poison!

1) Orc
2) Hobgoblin - 1
3) Gnolls - 2
4) Hellhound - 2
5) Bugbear - 1
6) Ogre

Yeah, all of those sound good. I might do something with insects and plants if I come up with my MM, but I wanna play as my angel first before I come up with something.That and I don't have a clue on what to do for traps... no wait, I can come up with something.

I go with bugbear because I never heard of them and they look like pretty interesting creatures. That and hellhound and gnolls, since they're getting the votes, and my angel could go for some doggy action.

A quick note, and I'll edit it into the main post for other people to look at later, but!
I figure now is about the time to discuss how we'll decide who gets to be an MM next round.

For the sake of variety, I don't want the same three people to be MM's, as exploring and re-exploring the same type of dungeon would probably get boring. Instead, after each dungeon, any adventurer who wants to try and make an MM can say in this thread that they want to do so.

Any MM who wasn't picked for the previous dungeon can also say they want to be an MM again. For example, Venom wasn't chosen to be the big daddy MM, and so they can ask to be on the list of potential MM's next time. Fawkes wouldn't because he was chosen.

After we've got a post from everyone as to whether or not they want to be considered for an MM position, I'll either do two things. If only three people want to be, then they'll just be selected automatically. If there are more than three, I'll use dice to decide who gets in. Then you'll be free to make dungeons!

For those who end up being Adventurers, if you decide your characters aren't to your liking, you can remake them. You'll keep all the gold you earned, and any skill points you have will stay with you as well. You'll be able to make an entirely new character, new class and everything. If you like what you have, you can just focus on upgrades.

If you've got any questions, because I'm sure I haven't worded this in a way to prevent any and all confusion.. You know what to do. PM me, post a question, what have you, and I'll try to answer.

My apologies, as apparently I was incredibly unclear, That Man. You have to say you're using a skill to actually use it, if it's something like the Bounty Hunter's flash bombs, or the bard's musical abilities.

It's because you have three different songs to pick from at the start. Saying which one you're playing is just something to keep things clear.
