The youngest daughter of a prominent aristocratic family, Roshia has felt the call of the Divine since she was a child. Her Magister father, already having several satisfactory potential heirs, was more then happy to have the prestige of a child serving the Light. Even moreso when her devotion manifested in palpable ways, and she was inducted in the ranks of Paladin novices.
Roshia has spent her long adolescence cloistered in a secluded temple dividing her time between combat training, study, and prayer. Never rebellious, she all of the above very seriously, even if she never particularly excelled at her studies and was rather ill suited to more esoteric theology.
She did however have ample charisma and an entrancing personality, as well as surprisingly great strength and a good mind for tactics. Newly christened a full Paladin and Knight Errant by the Temple, these characteristics combined with her familial influence lead to her being appointed one of the Envoys charged with saving the Elven nation, as well as charged with protecting her companions.

Calling her naive may be unkind, but Roshia is an extremely sympathetic soul with no first-hand experience of true evil. Unless someone has truly crossed a line to her knowledge, she tends to be rather overly credulous of others explanations and justifications. Even to those she believes are truly evil she'll take declared intention redeem themselves more seriously then she perhaps should.
Raised on decades of heroic tales, she imagines herself the romantic hero, charging in to save the innocent and make peace between ancient enemies. As might be divined, she has a propensity for rash decision making, and lack of common sense.
She is an extremely kind and empathetic person, always eager to help other and lead them towards virtue however she can, and very capable at cheering people up and bringing them around to her way of thinking.
