The old man listened nodding politely and rocking his chair onto its back legs listening to her. "My dear priests don't simply preach the virtues such as chastity because the lords written them in a book. We teach young people like you because its generally a bad idea to let some dark mysterious stranger rut around in you. But of course whats done is done. Jack says your pregnant." He seemed thoughtful about that last statement. "A child born of a demon and a human will have free will... but terrible inclinations."

He seemed thoughtful about that last statement. "A child born of a demon and a human will have free will... but terrible inclinations."

She shrugged. "There's nothing wrong with pleasure old man, so I think chastity is the wrong thing to be teaching. Being better judges of character would probably be more helpful." She said, twiddling her feet together as she listened. Hearing that didn't make her all that happy, but she had a feeling it was going to get worse as she told him what she had been told, that supposedly this child was meant to inherit the Earth.

"I'd really rather not birth the anti-Christ, but at the same time...I've always wanted to have a kid, eventually. Is there anyway to maybe remove the demon blood, or I don't know, throw some sort of balancing agent in there?"

"No, there's nothing wrong with pleasure... but I bet you didn't even wear a condom did you? I know kids are going to fuck but you could at least work towards preventing things like this... as for your child." He grunted glancing over at the refrigerator. "If he's calling it the antichrist then you probably received the seed of an old demon maybe even Lucifer himself. The child will be human... with human urges and emotions but hellish power as well. You cant change what he is but if your lucky you might teach he or she to be a decent child."

"Considering the demon wanted to knock me up, I don't think a condom would have done any good." She couldn't help herself as she giggled though, adding "Though now I cant help put picture the look on a demons face if I was to tell one they needed protection first." At his suggestion that it may have been Lucifer, she frowns. "I don't think so...what's he's said has given me the impression that he's not the head honcho...unless even Lucifer is bound by certain laws of divinity or what not."

She wasn't happy to hear there wasn't anything she could do but try to raise him right...not that she wouldn't, but considering her own line of work and bend towards the more pleasurable side of life, she wondered if she'd be able to impart the idea of consent onto him or her properly.

As for divine law I've never had enough contact to get it strait but none of them have free will... not even Lucifer." He smiles standing up and retrieving something from a drawer. "I once heard a friend of mine met god, said he was a machine and all the angels were cogs in his great design. I have no idea whats the truth and I don't think anyone does. Maybe your child will be normal... maybe it will be a monster." He shrugs.

She shrugs. "I guess I just have too much of a kinky mind...I've had all sorts of fantasies, and being screwed by a demon was at least one of them." After a moment of thought she added "I'm sure you've been in at least a similar situation at some point. Some things you only get once chance at after all..."

Hearing that even the devil didn't have free will...that still bothered her. "Why don't they have free will? Isn't that wrong?"

The mention of god made her curious about something else..."So are the Christians right, or is this a case of all the religions being right to one degree or another?"

"You ask me all these questions like I should know... I've seen an angel once, my friend says he's seen god, and a million other people believe different gods. I'm not sure whats ultimately real. Demons and Angels don't get free will when it comes to mortals, we're gods creations and they aren't allowed to interfere directly... they can whisper to you... or in your case have sex if you've invited them in under the right conditions. I don't know how he might have approached you but there's always a will behind it whether Lucifer sent him or humans did."

She absorbed all of this, sitting quietly as she sipped her coffee. "So what exactly should I do...what exactly can I do? It doesn't help matters that the police seem to be after me too after my apartment got shot up..." She sighed, shaking her head as she said "You know, its hard to feel like one has free will when for all you know your being manipulated around like a chess piece."

"What can you do?" He seemed to think about this for a moment and replied. "Take care of yourself and your child. Try to raise it right... I'd say go to the police if they want to talk to you but I've heard rumors that some people don't come back after those friendly visits."

"I figured that...heck, I figured the police might have been involved in that shootout somehow..." She shook her head, rising and smiling at the man as she said "Thank you for the talk...if there is anything else you can do to help or point me in a good direction, I'd appreciate it."

She suddenly realized it'd been a bit since Jack had gone. "Hey, do you think Jack is okay?"

"I'd just say stay inside when night comes... though that seems to be getting harder with the strange weather and time of year." He stood up offering a hand to help her up. "Jack's tougher than both of us... he's probably fine if its just a ghoul. They aren't smart enough to use silver. Mostly just blood thirsty half vampires." He said walking towards the front door. "And don't worry about infection, werewolves don't seem to catch anything. Lucky for him, he gets to sleep around." He said with a wink to her.

"Strange weather? What about it?" She asks, suddenly curious as she moves towards the door, keeping an ear out for whatever might be going on outside.

"You haven't noticed? Daylights down to about 8 hours, and the fogs been rolling in just about every morning and staying until late afternoon." Stepping outside Madison indeed noticed it had become much darker than when she arrived yet it was only just after noon. "Don't think anything goods gonna come of this." He said with a sigh. There was no sign of Jack still and in fact the suburb looked completely barren... that's when the old priest seemed to tense up a little. "Get back inside, there's more than a damn ghoul out here." He said backing up into his home and grabbing a crucifix off the wall where it had hung. The wind outside had picked up dramatically as soon as the priest had thrown out the warning.

Madison nodded, quickly stepping back inside and wishing she had something to defend herself with. She began praying...to just about anything, God, Odin, the Triple Goddess, heck she even sent one towards the Flying Spaghetti Monster, hoping that Jack was okay and that she'd get through this alive.

Madison stood in what seemed like the epicenter of a small tornado as wind rushed around the suburban home breaking open windows and throwing furniture around. The priest stood at the doorway brandishing the crucifix and began muttering a prayer to himself. Outside the wind formed into what looked like the form of a slender woman with glowing purple eyes dressed in tight fitting clothing that covered most of her skin. "Ah so this is the mortal bearing the child... come out and accept your fate girl. Your child cannot be allowed into this world."

Madison stood in what seemed like the epicenter of a small tornado as wind rushed around the suburban home breaking open windows and throwing furniture around. The priest stood at the doorway brandishing the crucifix and began muttering a prayer to himself. Outside the wind formed into what looked like the form of a slender woman with glowing purple eyes dressed in tight fitting clothing that covered most of her skin. "Ah so this is the mortal bearing the child... come out and accept your fate girl. Your child cannot be allowed into this world."

She glowered at the woman, maternal instincts taking over, and of course her own desire to have control over what happened to herself and the child. "What gives you any right to tell me my child cannot be born!"
