[RPG MAKER VX ACE] Dangerous Missions: Origin

INTRODUCTION

First of all, hello to everyone. After many lurking over here, I finally decided to make an account in order to kind of "giving back" all I got here by sharing with all of you my own project. The game, for now called Dangerous Missions: Origin, is an adventure made with RPG Maker VX Ace, and stars Alicia, a regular girl from the past who gets herself in some "trouble". Thanks to certain magical items (or so she thinks.) she'll try to get rid of her newfound fate, product of some bad luck.

The game is on its version 0.4a, and contains the following:
-Complete playable intro.
-3 full fledged H events and 2 short H events.
-15+ CG's (Made with 3DCG).
-2 Fully completed missions.
-Most of the first town already implemented and working.
-Battle System basics (With some original additions) implemented and working.
-Two H-Holds implemented and working.

Thank you for your attention. I'll be updating the game once-twice a week, so expect new updates and content pretty soon. And of course, any question, ideas, feedback, or pointing out flaws (Grammar -since I'm not narive-, glitches, etc...) will be highly appreciated. I hope you enjoy the demo and look forward for the finished project!!!

Played what I think is all you have here and it looks pretty good so far. There are a few grammar mistakes but nothing that makes it so you can't understand things.

A few things I noticed:
The shopkeeper is sitting on the counter. Not sure if you meant to do that but it looks kinda odd.
You may want to consider using RPGMaker's quick event creation for doors since they kinda act weird right now.
Some stuff is showing up in Spanish, I believe that is Spanish anyway, and that can make combat really confusing to know what is going on.

well im downloading the game eager to try it out.

but i do have some questions what kind of content we can expect and what we wouldn't see of. (like what fetishes are you willing to do and what your are not)

First of all, many thanks to everyone who tried and/or commented about the demo. Now for some answers:

-The shopkeeper is supposed to be sitting on the counter (a future CG will portray this) But it does look kind of odd. So what should I do? Put her behind the counter as normal or make such CG and see if it feels less odd that way?

-Some stuff from battle is indeed showing up in spanish, since that's the RPG Maker VX Ace I bought (I'm Spaniard). But I'll try and translate as many stuff from the scripts as possible, if not all.

-About the doors, I'll look that up. Never really tried the quick event thingy.

Lastly, I'll try to reach 10 messages as quickly as possible, but I don't really want to go spamming them either just to get the amount :P And of course, any suggestions about situations, kinks, scenarios, enemies, or places you'd want to see in, please let me know and I'll see what I can do.

I would say make the CG.

That was kinda what I figured, thought I would point it out since I wasn't really sure what was going on during battle for the most part.

The quick events are Transfer, Door, Treasure Chest, and Inn.
Transfer lets you create an event that when stepped on will transport the player to a specified location.
Door creates a door with a transfer effect. This is the one I was referring to and may require some modification of the event for some of your doors.
Treasure Chest creates a treasure chest, pretty self explanatory.
Inn creates an innkeeper that will charge the player whatever you set the inn price at to stay.

My main point was about the thread disappearing if you edit your first post before you reach ten posts. Just wanted to make sure you were aware so you wouldn't freak out if it happens.

All right, some news!

-All inbattle/shopping/map scripting is already translated to English. v0.5 won't have a single drop of Spanish.
-Fixed a bug where the Guild Helper's CG didn't disappear after failing the Inn mission.
-A surrender skill has been added.

Also I've been tinkering with the quick even thingie, and it really makes some stuff faster, specially map items and such. I'll go and change the doors eventually, too. Expect v0.5 during next week, probably first half.

Gave it a go, guessing you can't get out of town yet. A few things I noticed that were interesting/odd...

If you successfully club the pervert, the reward says $1000, but you get $500.
I am GUESSING the *locked door with keyhole* key is around, but no clue where.
I don't understand why would want to shell out 10K for the room, when you can rest for $100, unless that triggers something later
Finding the *growth gal* and getting a bunch of levels/money is great, but kind of cheapens it a little bit. Is she going to be a permanent thing or just until things are more fleshed out? Also, is there a *level minimum* to leave the town or something?

I do like it, it's funny and engaging so far!

Thanks for trying the game! Let's take a look at everything point by point;

Yeah, the reward not corresponding the actual mission briefing was a slip of mine :P Luckily it has been reported and since fixed.
You can't get the key in current version, but you will in v0.5. It'll lead to a new area I'm working on.
About buying the room, yyyeah...10k is kind of expensive now that I think about it. How much would you suggest as fair but not too cheap?
My little cameo role will be present for some more versions :P To ease things up and test around freely. Unless people find it unnecessary of course. I can erase that if you want. My initial idea is to have it there until v1.0, wich will be the first "true, fleshed out" demo showcasing the final mechanics of the game.

I would say...somewhere between 2 and 4k I think. Somewhat spendy, but still *decent* - assuming there's some bonus besides *having your own key*. Otherwise, just staying for the $100 is better.

Something else I discovered is the hilarity of the first fight. She's supposedly super-powerful but gets crushed from the 4 crazy guys. So long as that's the only fight she's SUPPOSED to lose, it will make the game funnier (more funny?). The character thinks she's super powerful then her first fight she loses horribly.

Are you intending to keep the pub off limits? While I can understand why she's annoyed at the boss, think there could be some humor involved if she were to show up and blast her former boss or something...

At last, I can post freely!

Let's see, first of all, 4K does sound reasonable, so I'll turn the price somewhere in those lines (Probably 5K). And yes, having that room will eventually trigger some stuff later on ;)
Second; I didn't really saw it that way, but replaying it it is funny XD. And yeah, It'll be an intro thingy only, the rest of the game's battles will be all winnable, either easy or hard.
And finally, I'm still deciding on what to do with the pub. Map's there and all, and it'd be a shame not using it again. Besides, I have locking up places, ssso...probably both Tonio's house and the Pub will be available again eventually. I can't ptomise it'll be in v0.5 thought.

Back to work! Any further ideas or suggestions will be appreciated!

Wow, my silly attempt being compared with Despair labyrith are some big words! Many, many thanks! I'll try to work very hard and come at least a little bit close to Kitamaru's gem.

NAUGHTY RAT!

Will we be able to get out of the town in version .5? Once the two guild missions were done it was kind of *well, now what?*. Alicia wouldn't leave the town, and while you could revisit the old pervert there wasn't much to do. Also, will the other *locked doors* eventually be open to Alicia?
