From my experiance, not waiting for other players can make people decide not to stay with the rp. Like what if, i had lost my internet? Am i to miss out to because of this? Get left behind because people want posts. This will be a slow paced RP, it wont be 1 GM post a day, i have work and a busy life schedule hehe patientce is a virtue if this isn't your style then you do not have to stay

See i've had the opposite experience. Not only do they push players to post once a day, but it makes sure the players dont miss out because of some other player.
For instances you're saying you'll wait 3 days for some one (i think you did?) but while that one player might feel like he's not missing out, now you have all your other players think that they've missed out because you wouldn't post for 3 days.

If it's anything, I do like the idea of a three-day period between GM posts. 1 Day does keep the players active, but I would like some leeway, some breathing room to allow not only for us to think of something, but for the GM to work up their parts for all of us.

Well it depends on what kind of madness I'm going for. If it turns out PG-13, then cool. If it's R, then fun times all around!

And not only me but a lot of people are in the desert, a good few of us at Tel'Adre and doing stuff there. Like half of us is exploring there while the rest is in other parts. Hmm, maybe I could go to the Plains later, give them some love.

Yeah it's been a while since I've played and even with the map, I'm not sure how far one has to travel to get to the desert, if you end up somewhere else. I dunno, I'm more interested in getting into the Gym, but first I got something special in mind for my character...
