I am by no means a digital artist, but i can use a pencil, I'd be happy to help anyone trying to get this game done in any way i can.
since you were talking about castle layout, here is a quick, mock up of Playshapes' Bowser's castle 2 layout was and locations of encounters.
If you could give me a list of encounters you would like to include and limitations i could come up with some sketches.

@punkin: Your help will b appreciated. Pretty much wanna stray a little from the original in sense of flow. For one, I'm gonna go with a demons soul's type thing where you have a huge map that you pretty much just interact w/ the level to make shortcuts. So I had this interesting idea where mario uses the floating blocks as a means to scale the front wall of the castle, penetrating from the top he takes out two turtles and hits a switch that opens the big red door. Krystal will be in the same room in her peril in the holding cell. She'll give Mario the downlow on what's happened to her and the other princesses and provide something that will assist in the next shortcut and/or damsel. You then have the option to use the guard keys to free her or have her extract the lubricant from the balls, both choices end in sex. I'm hoping I can set it up to where you can go for your fave princess, after that. So let's think about building/scaling that wall. I want obstacles/goombas patrolling the outer perimeter.

It's already looking much better! My only problem was changing Jump to space. Having that zoom-in option was kinda weird, and making it was used to be jump was really confusing.

Controls are nowhere near where I want them to be, yet, so yeah. but I've completely changed controls and there's a good chance that they will be nothing like the original. As for zoom, it's optional. I think it'll be a cool feature if we can get some nice artwork going. The good news is I have a cool idea involving putting all control related activities into functions so you can pop open the script and modify the buttons to your own liking.

Very nice work for this update! Bowser's Castle 2 begin to be finished fast at this speed.

But you miss to put a 'invisible wall' (for don't fall at the "infinite dark") at the left of Mario when you begin, it's a forgetting, it's voluntary or you add that later?

Fun bugs time! On all block surfaces, the bottom left side is buggy. Specifically, when Mario collides with the bottom of the left edge of blocks, he moves erratically, then warps either up or through the block(s) in question. This results in giving him vertical momentum and potentially sending him shooting through multiple blocks (test the 4 block horizontal stretch with a single full jump from the left side).

The right bottom edge of blocks is also buggy, but the bug seems to simply place Mario on top of the block.

Momentum is conserved while colliding with walls, resulting in "sticky" walls and the potential of the player holding the away direction, but being forced below a wall when falling beneath. (Test on large 3-thick wall on right).

These bugs don't make the platformer unplayable (and the engine is still better than Playshapes' engine imo), but fixing these issues could make the engine seem tighter and more consistent.

No updates to report, just trying to find a design for the castle. very limited resources in terms of graphics.

Some improvements to hit detection. managed to put all hitcheck code in player class, so things are much less confusing, now. And it looks like I've got an idea on how the castle wall level will look. I'm pretty excited at this point!! :D

This one is a bit funny but not damaging in any real way. When you jump upwards right into a wall's edge, you get stuck there until you fall below the wall.

Ah, found a bug. Ran into the castle area, stopped before I fell, then I double jumped leftwards. Mario got caught in the ceiling for a moment causing him to try to jump down repeatedly unsuccessfully. ...And oh jeez, I went up to the top and jumped into the corner of a platform leftwards, got LAUNCHED.

When I played the original version of Bowsers Castle on Newgrounds, I loved it. The sex scenes (though incomplete) were great. Although, like most play shapes games, it was missing a certain charisma that play shapes always gets so close to but then cancels the project or never do anything with it. When I found out that there was a version 2, I immediately played it and loved it. Although there wasn't to much changed in retrospect, the fact that this game wasn't just thrown away was so amazing and looking at whats to come is also great. I have never made a porn game nor have I had anything to do with one, the ideas I have are just really ideas. These are just things I think would be cool.(BTW I haven't read this whole forum so forgive me if i repeat someones idea)

1. Rareware Characters
For years now, I have been a Rarewere fan. As a kid, I played Banjo-Kazooie and just recently, I played Conkers Bad Fur Day. I noticed that Berri was on the title screen (or whatever you call the thing at the beginning). I thought it would be cool if other Rareware characters got in the mix. I was thinking along the lines of Humba Wumba (Banjo-Tooie) and Dixie Kong (Donkey Kong Country 2). My idea would be that somewhere you would find a glow bow (which is what you give to Humba Wumba in the game) and she would let you fuck her. I was also thinking that she could turn you into other objects like she did in the game and you could go more places and activate more sex scenes. For Dixie Kong I was thinking that if you game her a banana she would give you a blow job.

2. More interactions
I'm trying to avoid repeating ideas so I'm guessing people have said things about interactions with Zelda and Midna. I think it would be cool if you could make it so you can interact with Daisy and Rosilina or other characters.

3. Character Variety
This is contradictory to my first idea but i would like to see more characters from different franchises instead of just making a whole lot of Zelda and Mario characters. It would be cool to have some Pokemon stuff in. I know there are some playshapes sprites of pikachu and blazeiken but you could also maybe put in some Dawn and May stuff.

4. Mega Man
For years, I've played Mega Man and loved it. When I stared getting interested in porn parodies of nintendo franchises, immediately looked for Mega Man porn games and to my dismay, there was not one. Not even one that had MM even mentioned. I think it would be cool to put in a mega man character. Personally, I don't care what character you put in. It could be Roll, Terra,Cessiel, even a female version of mega man, but please, there isn't a single ounce of mega man pornographic games on the internet so I really hope he can fit in somehow.

5. Super Smash Bros.
Seeing as how you have 4 of the original SSBs (or at least characters in their franchise), I think it would be good if you put the other 4 in as well. I have mentioned above putting in 3 others but I think that Yoshi would be a good add on. You can do one of two things. One, have a sex scene with Mario and female Yoshi, or you could have Yoshi act like he did in Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island. I personally like the second one. You could have Yoshi use the flutter jump to get to a certain place

6. Power ups
Something that always amazed me in Mario games are the power ups. Now, I can see that there is a raccoon leaf already in the game, but it should used more than just to get in krystal's pants (or whatever she wears). It should be used as a way to get to places that you couldn't get to before and making the gameplay easier. Or how about the Firefrower? You could use it to kill enemies and melt ice like in SMB3. I think this could be tied to Yoshi giving you power ups in Mario World.

7. Multiple Worlds
If I recall correctly, It said that Bowser's Castle would be bigger in later versions. I was thinking instead of that, how about we put in worlds. I think it would be cool if it started in World 1: Grass Lands and go to World 8: Bowsers Castle and in the castle, there would be pipes to other worlds.

8. Music
Something that as always be immersed into the game is music. I don't really have to say much more than just, you should put music in the game (also it would be cool to change music depending on area)

9. Playable Characters
Obviously, there was some indication of playable characters from when you could be red Mario or green Mario (I'm not calling him Luigi because Luigi is already someone else). I wish that maybe you could have more of a selection like Link or Ash or Fox or MEGA MAN.

10. Final Boss
In the original Bowser's Castle, when I got to Peach, I got exited for a boss battle but unfortunately there was none :( . I think the kind of boss battle is this: Bowser starts running at you and you have to jump on his head 3 times to knock him out. then you would go over to peach and she would say something like: "To late Mario, I'm Bowser's Bitch and now you won't get any of this pussy". Mario pulls out his dick "Ha, you think just because you show that pathetic thing, you going to fuck me? Well it does look inviting. Fine, I'll suck your cock." Peach sucks it and you cum. "Mmmmmm. I release that some of these may be farfetched but I think having these in the game would be cool. Can't wait for the upcoming version :D
