Garian and Elenwe
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Vash looks utterly confused as she looks between the two groups. She seems to listen intently to the verbal exchange (despite not speaking a lick of common) before eventually letting out a small giggle, grabbing Garian's shoulder and rustling his hair with a grin.

"Do xaik ji mahsa, Sihse." (I appreciate the gesture, ...)

Her veins begin to become more prominent and her irises turn from black to a mild tinge of crimson red as she spits on the ground, approaching the wizard and his associate

"Jid Sihse ko'i. Do ohk ji viksiga dan kalwan, ka? Tlaran san ar tisla aan jos vil jid sihse ko'i, vil Do mtan pay toe guo!" (Leave ... alone. I am the prey you seek, yes? Take me to father's abode and leave ... alone, and I shall comply for now!)

Darius and Amber
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You watch as Vash rustles the defensively stanced man's hair, muttering something with a grin. Unfortunately you're still a bit too far away to catch quiet conversation as she turns towards the two of you now. You can't help but notice her eyes seem to glint in the late afternoon light, a deep, piercing red.

"Jid Sihse ko'i. Do ohk ji viksiga dan kalwan, ka? Tlaran san ar tisla aan jos vil jid sihse ko'i, vil Do mtan pay toe guo!"

She shouts loudly as she marches towards the two of you. What the hell is that gibberish?

Darius
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Due to your training in the arcane arts, you manage to identify a few words from the seeming gibberish. It seems this woman is speaking in the ancient tongue as a native language!

You manage to make out the words "Master ... prey ... seek ... father's abode ... Master ... comply ..."

Karna
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Ah yes, that tidbit... You begin to piece together what happened in your head- Being stuck on a ship with all those other people had been bad enough, but at least you had managed to find a small hidey hole on the lower decks though. When that... Thing had broken through the ship's hull it had caught you completely off guard, and had left it with far more time to have its way than some of the other survivors.

The magically driven passions that had flowed through you were amazing to say the least, as if every slight twitch or movement was designed to increase your pleasure... Well, that is, until you recall it speeding up almost violently as it approached climax before splinters of holy wood seemed to launch at the beast and end the party prematurely. The last thing you remember is being flung outwards and away from land, your body skipping across the water like a pebble.

"You priestess, do you know why a ship carrying people would come to this place? And what is your name?"

"Oh? I assumed you were part of that church vessel that passed through yesterday... Around here I'm known as Sister Qualls. I believe I remember some of the Rastanites talking about bounty-based sums being offered for the extermination of vile creatures or some such."

Marjory
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

GM Note; Since she's just picking one that looks safe at random I'll go ahead and leave it to the dice between the ones with safe symbols on them.
GM Roll; Random Decision (1d10)- 9

The Bar-Lgura simply grunts at that as you go about placing a stone with a crown on it into the portal slot. The other side of the portal however doesn't look very inviting... A dusty, old throne room that looks like a major battle took place inside of it greets you, and you get an eery feeling from it as if this place were just flat out evil.

You watch as a shadowy figure begins to fly towards the entrance of the portal, and thinking fast you pull the stone out. That... Probably wasn't your safest bet.

Pulling out the stone with waves on it, you get the impression that this one is likely much safer than the other one. Placing it into its slot, a calm, serene river appears on the other side. You marvel the beautiful scenery before you as-

Oof! A large hand shoves you through the portal as a small feeling of vertigo hits you. Looking behind you, you notice a large hairy hand of the Bar-Lgura holding the stone keeping the portal open! It slaps shut with a small clap of energy as you find yourself stranded on a riverside. Judging by the sun's position it will soon be evening in a couple hours. Rolling hills and plains seem to greet you from all directions... Looking about, you do happen to notice a small series of homes along the riverside a little way's North of your position, and the river seems to be running South.

Kylie
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"Maybe as a reagent? Hm..."

Lean tosses you a couple of vials as the two of you collect the green goo and bits of vines strewn about.

"Now that those are all finished, I guess we have nothing left to do but continue on our way, yes?"

"Sounds like a plan to me."

The two of you continue on your way for a while yet, but the sun continues to lower. Night time is quickly approaching as you find yourselves in a small valley...

Ing
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"Oh this thing? It's just an anti-magic field combined with a demonic barrier. Standard procedure for holding concubines hostage after all... As for my stay here? I doubt you'd be interested in my... Adventures of the flesh. You don't really seem the type to appreciate such things."

She frowns for a moment, seeming to think before giving you a light-hearted smile.

"Aside from his lordship's son and the holy trash he dragged in with him ransacking the place, there's not much to tell... After all, I'm rather drained right now since I haven't fed in years, my memory isn't the best..."

She yawns, eyes gazing towards you with an 'I'm waiting' sort of expression before she turns to stare at the orb with a sigh.

"As for that thing, well, even Devilish Kings keep a few dozen phylacteries hidden in case they happen to be slain. You never know when a fragment of your soul might come in handy... Even a mundane sword could likely pierce it if someone really wanted to destroy it."

Sidra
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Boron flaps into the small cave, causing a small ruckus among the local goblins who prepare a spot at one of the fires for you. A couple of guards stand watch at the entrance to the cave as night grows ever closer.

Darius raised his sword, prepared to attack Garian. The man was clearly a heathen and needed to be dealt with. The elf had wisely decided to stay out of the fight which suited him just fine. Her threat meant nothing to him. If he wished to kill her for spouting heinous blasphemy then he would. However Myn taught patience and understanding when it came to bringing people to the light. Perhaps with time and willingness on her part he could try his best to properly educate her on the ways of the Church of Five. She had obviously picked up some bad ideas about Myn in her past and if she was willing to open up then he was willing to teach her.

In a few seconds this demon lover will be dead and I'll be even closer to godhood. Darius mused as he began to walk forward to do battle for the custody of Vash. Only to watch her give the warrior a sign of affection before beginning to walk his way. He quickly shifted between Vash and Garian, trying to figure out if it was a distraction to draw his attention from a greater threat. The ancient evil didn't even speak in a human language, conversing in the ancient tongue. He could barely understand it but she was either asking him to take her to her father's house like Garian had said he was doing or submitting to his wishes. "Be very careful around Vash, Amber. If she's even a quarter as powerful as I think she is then we will have to tread very lightly to get her to do what we want."

Darius sheathed his sword, knowing that it would be useless against a being this powerful and if she was imploring his help then the demon's lapdog wouldn't attack him. It was a shame that she had scared to fairy off since he could have used her help translating but he would have to try for now. "Who is... dan tisla?" He asked, mashing the human tongue and what words he had recognized. She wanted to return to her father but who was he in the first place?

Kylie stopped to catch her breath for a moment. "Well I guess we should find a place to camp out for the night. If we can't find a cave, hole, or, whatever, in the next ten or so minutes we should just climb up into a tree and hope we don't get caught by those awful monsters. Sound good to you?" Kylie kept a cheerful tone throughout for such a morose statement.

"The extermination of vile creatures? I'll see what i can do... *mutters* though you humans dont deserve it. *mutters*" Karna looks away from the sister for a second, but realizes something is missing. "Sister where is my crow? Did you see a fairly large crow with a blind eye with me?" She gets up off the bedroll and stretches her legs which feel like jelly as she stumbles around. As she approaches the door she feels apprehensive about exiting out into a highly populated area.

Garian was ready for Darius to charge him, sword at the ready when he felt the familiar soft hands of Vash in his hair and her whisper to him before she started towards Darius. He wanted to warn her but didn't have the time. With a angry look, he sheathed his sword and walked behind her, a hand on dagger in case things go awry. "She is asking for help to take her to her father." He said, "I told her I would and that's just what I'm going to do." He said to him, "But I don't expect someone like you to even take her there, maybe to a church to have her killed." He said.

'Well, there's a day wasted.' Acharnel thinks as she prepares to move out of town. First Dana goes missing when Nel wakes up, prompting her to go on a wild goose chase in an attempt to find her, then she's accosted by someone looking for a little exotic loving (something she quickly turned down before her aforementioned rush), then she gave up altogether and instead started trying to gather up supplies for her exit. Unsuccessfully, she might add. So all that adds up to a day gone and nothing to show for it. The best thing she can say is that at the very least she doesn't have to worry about traveling in the rain that was there the previous day. Still, enough's enough. It's time to get moving. Heading to the northern part of town, she sets off. Parrin's warning to never travel alone rings through her mind, but she dismisses it. At this point, she has no choice. She must go off on her own if she's to get anywhere now.

Garian/Elenwe/Darius/Amber
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"Who is... dan tisla?"

Vash seems to stare at Darius for a moment, as if thinking of a way to describe who he is before inhaling sharply with a grin. She lowers her gaze to the ground, mumbling something...

Vorhslu ro ji heioha bo hie ohsersata cei cea ji solsorsi' mtan dey ji kolsa bo canka...

Is this... An incantation? If so she's speaking it far too fast/quietly to actually catch what she's saying. You watch as her eyes release a bright red glow before she slams a fist into the ground. Moments later, a pulse of energy seems to envelop your vision.

The sky is dark, the whole world is dark for almost a solid minute before vague black and white outlines with the occasional flash of color begins to fill your vision of the end of a battle...

Image

Two individuals march forward, one bearing the armor of a holy knight commander, though her holy symbol seems to be scratched out and replaced with one of the symbols of the original four aspects. The other is a man wearing dark leather bound by adamantium straps, his features hidden by cloth folds save for a small devilish tail swishing behind him as he speaks. The individual he is speaking to is taller than any human or even orc, and is kneeling forward, heavily injured by the looks of things. Even those who have studied the basics of this island are more than aware that this taller fellow matches the description of The Devil King to the letter...

"Father, end this madness and surrender to the church... There is no need to continue this skirmish. You've lost, please-"

A booming voice interrupts the young man, deep and heavy, its breathing irregular.

"Foolish boy. Should you think this battle lost you've learned nothing in your travels with this whore. Where you think you've denied me by refusing to lead my armies to the mainlands, you've only proven the blood that runs through your veins by attacking your own father and unintentionally usurping the throne...! I am not gone from this world, for you should know better than most that we never die... Begone, fool. Take the throne you have rightfully claimed or begone from my sight you snivelling pig. I curse these lands to hold in my corruption, and I curse you and your offspring to never leave this island! Your sister was such a better candidate for this rule, a greater being than you, boy. Even now I can feel her presence as she observes what has taken place from affar. Enjoy the short time you'll have with this whore who couldn't even keep her holy oaths. The Church will surely execute her for such blasphemy, and your soul is beyond redemption, doomed t...o..."

You watch as his head rolls clean off from the Paladin's large blade, dark energies being released from the devil's body as a bright white light envelops your vision, bringing you back to the real world.

"Ticsi" ((Ancient Tongue: Father)) she states calmly with a smile, pointing to the northwest.

"That all sound's great! Any idea where I can learn more about that Festival? I'd love to see how city-dwellers party, hope its more interesting than Orc festivals."

"ehh... Bes' not tah go 'round askin' 'bout that. If yer lookin' fer more info the guards'll be postin up 'em flyers 'bout keepin' belongins locked up tight. Differen' groups partyin' up Drubkirk in different ways... Fight rings're registerin' at the Imp's stick an' the elven grove dependin' on if yer lookin' fer freestyle er' rules respectively. "Hmm... That would probably be for the best... From what I understand this island is extremely unsafe at night."

The two of you begin to search for a cave as the sun continues to set. This valley doesn't have many trees to begin with, but you do manage to find a promising looking cave. Entering, you can't help but notice it's mildly illuminated by blue rocks in the walls, and a small spring of what appears to be relatively fresh water lies nearby. Lean immediately goes to drink some, and it only takes you looking away for a second to set up camp for a laughing sound from the entrance to grace your ears followed by a small yelp from Lean. Great, what now?

Turning around in the relative darkness of the cave, you spot two large beings standing about seven feet tall each with hyena-like features as one has pinned Lean with one of her arms behind her back. The other stands nearby with a short spear as it lets out a cackle, having not noticed you (yet). Gnolls are... Not a pleasant race to say the least. If Orcs are considered to be violent, then Gnolls are just downright sadistic.

Karna
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"Ah, so that was your crow making the ruckus... They've been cawing around the building all morning!"

As you stand in front of the door, it seems you don't have much of a chance to worry about opening it as someone else opens it to step in!

An orcish man adorned in Rastanite armor with a badge denoting his rank as Lieutenant stands in the doorway as he nods to you, pulling to the side so that you might head out if you'd like. Looking beyond him, this island seems to be largely... Nothing. A large stone tower lies a little ways away, and soft grass curls underneath you. A rowboat sits along the shore capable of fitting a few people, but even if there was a dense pocket of civilization here, it seems as if the fog would hide it either way.

With a small caw, your crow swoops down, landing on your shoulder.

Acharnel
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

A number of tents are still set up outside the city walls as you make your way outside the safety of its interior. The day was mostly wasted, but you did manage to at least get ahold of the rest of the guild registration information in order to make money off of your kills, and you have a clear idea of the most dense areas of monsters from the villagers. It seems that even if it takes you into the early evening, you're better off finding a town or city than trying to make it in the rough, and the roads seem to be the safest place to be out here if not the least likely to earn you anything. To the west you can see a controlled fire burning in the forest, and much further up the mountain (at least half a day's journey unless you rush yourself) you can spot what can only be described as a multicolored swarm of some bug or another nestling in along the path. You can only hope that said swarm will be gone once the sun's heat starts to set in...

Nel, frankly thinks it would be an altogether suicidal idea to head in the direction of that swarm until it dissipates. That's who knows how many of those bugs flying around and based on what Perrin told her, they can either be interested in killing her or fucking her and corrupting her, neither of which are acceptable. The corruption, though, is wholly unacceptable. She will not allow herself to become a servant of the Unnamed One and will eagerly kill herself before that happens. So avoiding the swarm seems to be a sensible course of action. In the spirit of that, she decides to see if there's anyone she can dragoon into travelling alongside her among the tents. Dana would have been a marvelous choice, but Dana isn't here anymore so she has to work with what she has.

God damn, Kylie thought to herself, how many times will this girl get herself captured? And especially by some of the cruelest beasts in the Wastes... After offering up a short prayer, Kylie called upon the chameleon spell. Hoping that there were no more than just the two, she snuck up behind the closest one and tried to slit its throat, and planned to do the same to the other.

"There you are Arath. Did you miss me?" Karna is joyed by her crow's return and she looks through her pack for some nuts to give her companion. "Sister, Lieutenant if there is nothing you need from me I will be on my way. Thank you for taking care of me in my absence of mind." A small bow follows and she begins stepping out into the world. The stone tower off in the distance seems like a good place to start.

The Goblins didn't seem to take to Boron very well, so Sidra decided to scold the bird, to at least alleviate the tension between monster and bird.
"Boron, at least announce yourself before barging in," she scolded, making the rather small bird screech at her quite loudly.
Disgruntled, she pointed at a nearby tree and told him to keep an eye out in the meantime.

Darius watched the visions, amazed that he of all people was seeing the slaying of the Demon King, or at least one of physical forms. He snapped out of his scholarly rapture to examine the scenario to get any hint of who Vash's father was. He seemed a lost for words as the whole scene played out with the demon prince killing the king, but wait... A sister?

"It seems Radamis was right after all..... She is the daughter of the Devil King." He looked at Garian who had just shrugged it off like it hadn't been some revelation. "Are you a damn idiot? She just showed you proof that she's evil! What sister of the devil prince do you think he was talking about? Step aside fool, I am going to bring her to the Church in Merc Town to directly communicate to the gods! Do. Not. Try to stop me!" He tried to keep his voice even and calm so he wouldn't upset Vash, who he wasn't sure could understand the human language. Darius drew his sword for the second time, letting it hang by his side but ready to bring it up in defense.

"Dan Ticsi!" (Your father) Darius said, pointing in the direction of MercTown with his sword. He beckoned with his other hand, hoping that she would follow him.

Elenwe turns towards Vash with arrow nocked, but bowstring not drawn. She can still take aim and shoot in a moment, but doesn't- for now. She doesn't have any trouble with shooting (propably) unaware (likely) enemy in the back, but she's unsure if it will do anything. This woman clearly commands powerful magic, more powerful then anything Elenwe ever encountered, and propably already have some protective wards in effect.

The vision startles her, and she almost shoot when Vash starts casting it, but it doesn't tell her much. Elenwe doesn't know...or really care...about the history of this land, but this figure, Vash's father, apparently, doesn't look like a good sign. If the combat starts, at least now she knows who to side with, sadly, it's not the man she was looking for, and while she's not exactly fond of Darius, a demon's a demon.

Garian continued to glare at Darius, "She can be redeemed, and that is what i planned to do. now you can get out of my way or I will make you." He said to him and looked at Vash, "And you, if you turn out to be as evil as he claims with no chance of redemption, may the lords help you." He said and pulled out his blade, "Now come on, we got a journey to do and I would like to be on my way."

"You must be insane! She's trying to return to her father, the Devil King! What redemption could come out of bringing her to him? And let's say she did she turn out to be evil then how the hell are you going to be able to kill her? Once again she is the Devil King's daughter, you have no chance!"

His patience had long given out, replaced by anger and conviction. He was somewhat happy to see that the elf was finally pointing her arrows at the right people. Dislike of a deity could be ignored as bad teaching but you couldn't excuse the immorality of what this person was trying to do. Darius returned the glare, almost convinced that this man was without a doubt a cultist. "Are you a follower of Irilin or the Unnamed One, Garian? Because that's the only reason I can think off at this point for why you be so obstinate about me taking her to a church. You keep repeating the same bullshit line about redemption over and over but you never provide any logic behind what does it benefit the to bring her to her father. In all likeliness she'll assume his throne and lead the demons to the mainland!"

Darius glanced at Elenwe, hoping she was prepared for the possibility of having to put an arrow through her companion's skull. He wasn't sure how close they were but he admired her strength of will to remain and fight instead of leaving. "I'm sorry elf but I might have to kill your companion. I know I don't have any right to ask it of you but will you assist me? I can try to compensate you later and I assure you this is for the best." Darius raised his own sword, holding his luminous stone in the other hand. Krafla the raven flew above them, ready to assist if needed.

"I'm not getting out of your way asshole... If you want to usher in the dark age of our world then you'll have to do it over my dead body! May Loranna guide your corrupt soul to a better life."

"If you fight, I won't help either of you. Someone should watch Vash, for all the good it will do, while you're busy with one another." Elenwe knows well the tactical value of keeping her enemies distracted with one another, and doesn't want to give Vash an opportunity to use the distraction provided by their "duel" to her advantage.

Acharnel
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You begin to look alongside the road for tents, but it seems the vast majority of the populace have either made their way deeper into the Wastelands, or have gone to strike their fortunes out in the forest as you watch a controlled fire begin to puff up from it.

Luckily you manage to run into at least one tent outside positioned near a tree... A man in leather armor and bearing a symbol of Myrdur clumsily stumbles out of a tent as his trousers hang at half mast. After a few seconds he manages to find his belt, and notices you as he bends over.

"Ah, pardon me, miss."

He seems to stare at you from several moments before snapping his fingers.

"Aye, it's the Dark elf from the other day! The red headed lass was asking about you the other night! Hmm, good to see yah haven't fallen peril to any of the buggers 'round here! Name's Card!"

"Ugh, what's all that racket about, honey?"

You can see the shadow of a woman through the tent as she seems to be slipping a robe over her form. It's not hard to guess what the two of them were doing, but they seem friendly enough at least.

You only took your eyes off the other one for half a second! You manage to brace your arm and prevent fracturing as the gnoll dangles you in the air with a dark smirk on its face. Gnolls are a vile bunch of monsters in the first place, but having never encountered one of the Wasteland variety before, these... Things seem to almost reek of malicious intent and sadistic instinct in comparison, just from the short glance into its eyes.

Karna
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"Do be careful out there! You're more than welcome to borrow the boat!"

You begin to approach the stone tower as it feels... Strange. As if it weren't entirely real. The entrance is a wide stone door. Above it lies what at first looks like random letters until you piece it together as Orcish; Kul-Ari, or as the common tongue would call it, Tower of Dark Shades. You push it open, entering inside... Another human unfortunately greets you at the entrance, a soldier of Radamis (and a new recruit at that it seems). Above the entrance

"Greetings. Welcome to the tower, I hope you have a pleasant st-"

...

"Huh, you aren't one of the soldiers and you don't have a pair of shackles around your neck so I'm guessing you aren't a prisoner. I guess you're here tah speak with the superiors? Well, unless they finally found someone brave enough to go check out that tunnel..."

Sidra
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

((GM Note: made some assumptions))

"Birds... Birds used as scouts around lands. Bah."

As unamused as they are about the bird, these goblins seem more apathetic than anything.

The night drifts on with relative ease as the break of dawn finally begins to greet you... And a stench. What is that awful stench? It's like some bitter burnt herbs, but stronger...

Looking around for the source, you eventually find it. It seems to be coming from a large cauldron at the center of the goblin campsite. Said cauldron seems to be full of some boiling dark brown liquid as the goblins pour themselves cups full of it, giving it to each other. One of the goblins eventually makes his way over to you with a cup of the brownish sludge drink.

"Hack-n-dirt. Wakes up much better than human tea. Try! Try!"

He gleefully shoves the cup towards you.

Elenwe/Garian
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Reaver Wrote:"Dan Ticsi!" Darius said, pointing in the direction of MercTown with his sword. He beckoned with his other hand, hoping that she would follow him.

Vash shakes her head, once more pointing to the North West. Her eyes have notably returned to their more normal-looking blackish color.

. . .

As tensions continue to rise, Vash doesn't even seem to notice that she's standing in the middle of a fight-to-be or that there's an arrow pointed at her as she giggles, skipping playfully towards Darius as she shouts back at Garian.

Vash skips towards Darius cheerfully...! ((A little treat for taking so long to get the post up))

"Cea y uru erhu'san Sihse si'klonheni cla su'si... Dei fune'et kalyehso'eo cahsinark fa'kan jeo si'k'eehan ko dan babee eti veo toe gei ersalnorharsa, Sihse?" ((This one insults ... far too much... Your humble servant will help him relax if you wish it as for our pact, ...?))

With tensions rising, Vash lets out a small giggle as she begins to skip towards the two of you playfully, not even paying too much attention to where she's going as she shouts back at Garian.

<<OOC: Made some assumptions. Gimme a heads up if something doesn't fly.>>

Sidra snorted at the comments, and made herself comfortable near the fire.
She hoped to get some descent sleep, and actually managed to get at least a few hours in.
She actually woke up a bit more refreshed than she would be normally, which surprised her. Those kinds of nights were few and far between, but quite welcome.
Stretching and wrinkling her nose at the smell near the cave entrance, she was handed a mug of 'Hack-n-Dirt', whatever that was supposed to mean.
She was slightly suspicious about any types of poisoning, especially around here, and the fact that the smell and the need to actually sleep more made her unwanting of the drink.
However, with company present, she couldn't afford to offend or make enemies of them so soon.
Carefully, she took a small sip, hoping it didn't taste like it smelled.
