"Ambassador Tsukiko, may I ask your associates name?" Gissha asks, motioning toward Hazen. "You seem to know her, may I assume you both represent Ishuto?" Her personal experience with Ishuto had rather pleasant, and she more than a little respect for their samurai class.

As Nealee begin guiding Kiran towards her lavish Catfolk camp full of fine looking tents and a modest crowd enjoying exotic smoke and drinks, she begin rambling on about her ancestry, oddly enough, starting from one of the continent's most famous human explorer. She leaves out the details of how the famous man came about making catfolk children, but she continue describing an exoctic family tree of merchants and travelers.

Meanwhile in the sky...
Bright purple flashes begin to light up in the sky during the darkness of midnight. At first, they look like immobile, brightly illuminating starts, but then one starts slowly veering towards the horizon. Soon more and more purple stars appear while more start to streak across the horizon. One strikes down very close by and makes a loud rumbling crash that sounds like thunder. Just as the large bonfire of the noisy catfolk tribe begins to die down, are star streaks down directly towards the pit.

KAPOW
Crack... hissssssss

Purple mist fills the air around the camp, slowly changing colors as it cools down, away from the heat of the impact.

Hazen starts at the lizzan's question, not realizing she'd been so rude. "I apologize. I am Urufu Hazen, or Ambassador Urufu, representative of Ishuto. Pleased to meet you." She says with a small bow. She's saved the need to make any more awkward conversation by the sky lighting up and capturing her attention. She goes on alert when one of the purple flashes smashes into the ground, her hand immediately on her blade ready to fend off any threats. Confidence bolstered by the feel of her sword, she moves closer to the impact, intent on investigating the cause.

Eolande was about to retort the feline when there was the sound of a loud impact.
Loose bits of dirt and dust temporarily blocked out her breathing as it floated into her nose and throat.
Coughing and spitting out the foreign debris, she called out to her companion, "What happened?!"

Gissha's attention is drawn from conversation by the purple "stars" filling the night sky and crashing to earth. She shields her eyes from the blast with one arm, but otherwise has no overt reaction to the object crashing into the nearby bonfire. "Is it an attack?" She says calmly, though almost inaudibly after such a loud crash, as she lowers her arm to shake off a few embers thrown from the fire. Squinting into the night sky, she tried to figure out if these things were literally falling from the sky, or if they were being fired by some distant weapon.

Just as Hanako was about to answer she's interrupted by the purple flashes of light, covering her eyes as she watches this object fall into the catfolk camp, her ears folded back in annoyance, though she oon makes a dash towards the crash site of whatever holy or otherwise object had just fell from the sky, she had to investigate, see if anyone was hurt and try to help the survivors...

Naturally, Kiran listened the entire time, his attention solely on Nealee- after all, it was polite for a guest to do as much. His left hand remained on his scabbard the entire time, armour clinking with each step. Her family tree... It was doubtful that he'd remember absolutely all of it. He had a hard enough time keeping track of his own ancestors- more often than not, he confused his great aunt with his great-great-great-grandmother! Something he was always chastised for by his mother and father both. The exotic smokes and drinks piqued his interest as well- as well as the cuisine that the catfolk seemed to enjoy. Perhaps he would have to try at least one dish at some point, to see how it would be. Dishes back home were quite... Bland, to say the very least. "I see... Do conti-"

The earl's attention was brought to the sky as the purple lights filled the air. His posture shifted, eyes noting the streaks that filled the air... And in an instant, he grabbed for Nealle. "Brace yourself!" He called, his posture dropping as, no doubt, shock waves of force rolled through the ground. He held her up, and close, frowning. Falling stars... Always a sign. Once the ground had stopped rumbling, he released Nealee, drawing his sword.

"... Stay behind me." His voice seemed to have changed, his tone changing from soft and polite to hardened and serious in an instant. His pace was swift and militaristic, his cloak flowing behind him and his eyes strong. This mist... It was hot- uncomfortably so- but he strode through it towards the source. So long as it wasn't to the point of reckless danger, he would investigate this phenomenon. "Everyone! Remain calm!" His bolstering voice rang out in space, as though to contain any chaos that emerged. "I, Earl Kiran Fallstar of Rosphadon, assure your safety!"

"I'm not sure." Kao responds to Eolande, intermittently between coughs, "Something just fell out of the sky." He clears the air by waving his hand back and forth before holding his hand over his eyes and peering off towards the impact sight.

At the impact sight, a small crater is left where the large fire pit was, but nothing seems to be left but the bothersome purple mist. The purple flashes in the sky continue slowly traveling downwards from the sky. Some of the catfolk begin muttering worriedly amongst themselves before they slowly start herding themselves away into their tents and huts. Some sort of mystic man chants from the main hut while waving symbolic fetishes.

"What's going on!?" Nealee calls out as she is suddenly grabbed. The civilized cat people look somewhat perturbed but they are far from the impact sight. They start to laugh it off nervously before going about their business, watching the show in the sky with worried glances. "Umm... You may stop arresting me now." Nealee murmurs.

Kiran, once on the scene (and perhaps with Nealee following), would stride right over to the fire pit. Leaning a bit to peer into the fire pit, his eyes would scan what they could in the dark, a frown slowly knitting his brow. What was that...? It caused such a thunderous noise and the earth to rumble! Was it truly a falling star? He'd never seen any that were purple in his entire life, or even heard of such things! "... Stay on your guard, everyone. More might fall- we don't want anyone getting injured." His voice still held its imperative tone, sword remaining in his right hand.

Soon enough, he was peering towards the Rosphadon camp. He was truly hoping nothing had struck there. He worried for Erika at this point- though there was no doubt she'd soon come rushing to see if he was okay.

Seeing no apparent rhyme or reason to the purple streaks crossing the sky, Gissha decides that they probably aren't under any sort of attack. "Let us see what a a star looks like up close then..." She says, striding toward the thing and returning her attention to those around her. She snorted in amusement watching Kiran and Tsukiko's panicked reactions. "Calm yourselves. You're wasting your energy." She says simply as she comes to the edge of the crater and looks down. So far the purple mist didn't seem harmful, so she stepped over the edge and slid to the bottom for a closer look.

Hazen growls in annoyance as she sees there's nothing left of the offending item except the smoke. Smoke that she doesn't know whether it's harmful if not. For all she knows, it could be a slow-acting poison. She doesn't know how far this mist has spread, but it would probably be best to find out. "Hanako, please make sure the Ishuto camp is secure to attack. I'm going to survey the area." She says before bolting off. Her objective is the reach the end of the mist and then follow it in a circle to see how far it goes. With luck, she may figure out a way to limit its spread while she's out.

Nealee gets dragged along with Kiran's hurried rush to the rescue. She looks about herself nervously as they get closer and closer to the source of the mist. "Something... doesn't feel right." She moans. Suddenly Kiran looks up and notice another star falling from the sky, but this time, it seems to burst in the air. Shining misty tendrils of white hot smoke begin hurtling straight toward Kiran and Nealee's location and she yelps as she is shoved out of the way. Multiple high intensity beams of energy crash straight through Kiran and he slowly falls over, passing out unconscious.

Meanwhile Gissha slowly climbs down into the firepit, the still hot ground making her feel uncomfortably warm as she explores. The ground seems to sparkle in certain places, possible shards of the star left in the dirt. They glimmer and shake in the peripherals of her view. Are they slowly coming towards her? Paranoia haunts her steps. Gissha turns to see a twinkling fragment floating directly in front of her face before it charges directly into her, knocking her down. Her hands at feet feel pinned down as all the shard start hopping towards her, weighing her down.

Hazen can see other star falling down towards the other camps. The screams and panic slowly start to fill there air. Strangely, no matter how far she goes from the mist, she still seems to be in the think of it. Strange shapes and voices seem to be appearing out of thin air, laughing, mocking her. She think she seems something one moment, but when she goes to investigate it, it's gone. It appears to be getting thicker. Hazen can't even see the sky anymore. Harder to breath...

The noble's eyes widened as he saw this star approaching them. As soon as it had split off, he would turn rapidly- no time to think, only to act. "Get down!" Kiran called to Nealee, throwing his free arm out to shove her away with all of his might. Hopefully it would be enough. As his back was turned, he would feel it- multiple hot, piercing beams of pure energy lanced right through his body, muscles seizing from the pain. He was seeing red, though he was certain that, at the very least, the catfolk woman was safe. Sword clattering to the ground, he'd fall to his knees, eyes losing all focus in a matter of seconds before he collapsed forward onto his face, everything becoming... So cold, despite the heat of the mist.

Was he dying? He didn't know. He fought with all the will he could muster, but the pain was far too great for him. His last thoughts before passing out turned to Erika... How she'd panic if she could see him now. That pained him to no end- more than the holes that had likely been seared right through him. "... Sorry... Erika... Did something stupid after all..." He chuckled weakly, before passing right out, body limp on the ground.

Kiran's head is swimming as he breathes in the thick smoke-filled air. "Pathetic..." A low gravely voice says to him as he slowly come to. "How long is it going to take you to get up?" Standing in plain view from the background of burning buildings and flaming trees is a lone figure, entirely hidden in a tight, purple cloak. Where his face should be, seems to be a constantly shifting, yet symmetrically bound swirl of black and white. The cloak covers up most of his body and hides the sides of his head with a hood, however down towards his shins reveals Rosphadan standard issue armor leg plates. His arms and hands are concealed by the cloak.

A groan slowly escaped Kiran, a rather groggy feeling having been set over him. His body was still aching horribly as he slowly began to pull himself up, vision wavering as he peered at the figure. Who was he? What was he? Eyes narrowing a bit as he tried to overcome these God awful afflictions so that he might at least see and move right, he... Couldn't even distinguish the person's face. Their voice was not one he knew either. Perhaps he truly was dead. One hand absently brushed across his front, as though to check if he were still wounded, jaw setting firmly.

"... Who are you?" Where he was could be discerned later. He coughed as he spoke, feeling awfully weak.

Hanako nods her head, she would draw her sword her fur standing on end, this mist was to weird to be a coincidence, was some country making a move? Either way she would head in the direction she thought her camp was....this was the rightway right? Damned mist....

Eolande nervously fidgeted in the quickly changing enviorment, and asked Kao in a nervous tone several pitches higher than her normal voice.
"Is this normally something that happens when something falls from the sky?"

Hazen's beginning to regret running into the mist without investigating it first. It either has hallucinatory effects or people within it can hide extremely well within it. She's unsure of which possibility frightens her more. The fact that it's getting harder to breathe frightens her more than either of those two though since that is a lot more immediate. It's time to find her way back to camp. Those how she'll be able to do that without being able to see the sky is a mystery she hasn't yet solved. Still, keep moving. With unknowns around, moving is better than standing still. Feeling threatened, puts her hand on her katana, ready to quick draw it at any moment.

"What? What are you?" Gissha demands of the crowding shards as she pulls against whatever was holding her in place with all her might. "If you desire combat, then face me squarely!" She says more forcefully as she twists to focus her efforts on freeing her right arm. Fear was pushed back, denied access to her mind as she tried to free herself and prepared for whatever blow was likely soon to come.

Kiran notices that he oddly appears unharmed, just exhausted. "I'm the Watchman." The figure states simply, "I have no name. But that's not what's important right now, we'e under attack." The man lifts out his arm from the folds of his cloak, revealing an extended spy glass which he uses to peer off into the distance. "These creatures are stranger than those foreigners. I don't know why you'd even want to work with them. Filthy whores and king pins."

Hanako dashes through the mist at top speeds towards her home, as she launches through a thick cloud she discovers that she is running through an area that looks much like her homeland, and a thick, ugly looking cloud of purplish black ooze is rolling across the horizon towards her, from the direction she was running. Now running beside is a light and thin woman dressed had to toe in a tight dark blue body suit. Her hair waves behind her in a pony tail, and only her eyes are uncovered by her mask. She gives Hanako a thumbs up before jumping into the air and throwing a barrage of sharp shurikens at her. The deadly metal blade whiz around her body, barely missing her as they strike the monsters behind her, spawning from the evil cloud.

Kao deftly whips out a real, steel tipped arrow and take aim towards the sky as he shouts, "I don't think so." Before letting loose a single shot towards the hail-sized star hurtling directly towards them. Eolande sees the star get struck and it burst in the air just a few feet above them in a flash of bright blinding light. Eolande's hearing and sight are temporarily disabled by the resulting flash bang, and as she struggles to regain her faculties, she discovers she is located in a place quite different than the one she was standing in... A seemingly endless mossy forest, full of thick vines and a leafy canopy. The light of the sky filtering through the leaves appears to be the very same eerie purple light of the falling stars from earlier.

Just as Hazen begins to feel neurotically claustrophobic, the mist disappears in a swirled windy whoosh. This reveals... darkness. Not pitch black, but it appears like the entire world around her is inside a dark blue tent. Littering this strange new tent-land are shelves of old musty books and shiny mystical knickknacks, forming a maze of rows and corridors. Somewhere off in the distance she spots a small, twinkling purple light.

Gissha's body is soon glistening in the strange purple light as it weighs her down more and more. Her body is pressed directly into the earth and she find herself mercilessly entombed, her lungs too compressed to draw breath if there were even oxygen to breath down here in the first place. Before it has time to sink in, Gissha find herself being launched backwards up from the ground. She was on her back, but now she's on her belly? It is very disorienting, and for some reason she's completely covered in mud. A giant, imposing figure stands directly in front of her, it's body crudely anthropomorphic and completely made of chiseled stone. Its arms reach all the way down to its feet, knuckles pressed against the ground. It has no neck, just a torso and a large dome where the shoulders end. On its face are two hollowed out eye holes and a serrated horizontal line of rectangles where a mouth would be. It's eye and mouth light up as it takes a heavy breath and speaks, "Go....lem."
