The way the little thing is chewing on the doll is way beyond creeping Suzu out. It's gone straight into "That thing needs to die quickly!" territory. After playing the next verse in her song, she moves into a position least likely to accidentally hit anyone else if she should screw up again and lets an arrow fly. Unsurprisingly to her, she missed, the arrow harmless smashing against the floor. She's not even mad at this point, just making a resigned sigh. It just feels like she's wasting arrows.

Rhialla, quite expertly, shifted to a better position in the current melee so as to flank the undead beast. Shield up, her club being pulled from her belt, she would yell at it as she swung the truncheon. Sadly, it managed to duck under the swing. Perhaps she shouldn't be announcing her attacks? That may be part of the problem she was having. Yet, she always wanted to emulate the other sisters, with how fiercely they fought!

Celebrilith attempts to strike the monstrous child but fails to hit.

Monika, growls in frustration as the others pile into the room and block her shot, and can't help but wonder why the tiefling wizard is clamoring into melee with the thing, anyway. [I guess she's just there for moral support and an opportunity to receive damage?] She can only complain so much, though, when a bolt sinks into the creatures thigh. [1miss, 1 hit. 3 damage]

Garian charged the entity, wielding his sword and made a downward slash against it, hoping to piss it off and have it attack him instead of the others, he can take whatever was thrown at him, no matter what it was. And to him, this is just another beast needing to be put down.

Rhialla gave a swing of her club! With Celebrilith flanking the creature with her, surely she'd manage to hit this time!... Nope. It ducked out of the way. She swore she could hear all the childish voices turning from sobs into laughter for a brief moment, as though to taunt her. But no- that'd be too creepy!

Janeei fire an arrow straight into the monster's skull with a sickening crack (11), and it leaps at Rhialla and starts gnawing at her neck (2).

Celebrilith grabs the monster in her claw and smashes its skull into the ground until it breaks. Its body seems to fall to pieces, into a pile of dusty old children's toys, with the doll sitting on top, motionless and silent.

Rhialla dropped her club as the monster fell, dropping down to her knees. She would grab the doll looking it over, before giving a quiet prayer as she cast Detect Magic. It was the best she could really do- was there still some kind of magic binding the doll? Was there a soul in there, or had it been linked directly to this... This foul, undead creature? She didn't know, but she was going to find out. Unfortunately, this was the best she could do at present.

After the things death, Garian gave a sigh of relief and leaned against the closest wall he could, "Man, what was that?" He asked no one in particular, he never seen something like that before, hell, he hadn't seen a lot of things before coming here. "What...what do we do now? Do we explore this mansion?" He asked, looking at those that were still there.
