Gissha found it rather hard not to stare at the catfolk as they sat around the fire, laughing and talking over their meal. It was, well, open and free, yes, but the ease with which they shared such intimate moments never ceased to amaze her. It wasn't just the freeness with which they shared themselves with each other that amazed her, but the fact that they were heedless of onlookers such as herself; seemingly happy to have any who would approach take part.

Seeing a young Rhega that had been snagged by the arm and dragged into the party earlier during the dancing did bring a small smile to her lips. She felt a little sorry for him, the shame and embarrassment was plain on his face as he stared intently down at the plate sitting on his knees and absently poked the slab of pork on it with his knife, but it had been rather fun to watch him, and he looked positively adorable at the moment. She figured she would let him simmer for a few more minutes, and then do the merciful thing and call him away to some made-up duty so he could go to his tent.

Hanako would nod giving a short bow to Erika seeing as they would leave shortly. "Yes, that sounds good. I was planning on visiting all of them anyways, it will be nice to have some company....Hmm,though what should I address you as? you may refer to me as Tsukiko if you don't mind. In our country first names are not used formally. "

"Of course, Tsukiko. I've been nothing but respectful this entire time, however." Really, she didn't need to explain that to him. He'd done some research into the cultures of the other kingdoms, and knew that for a fact. The 'madame' was a sign of respect from his own culture. If he was to call her 'Madame Hanako', well... "You may call me Earl Fallstar, or Kiran if you so wish. It's up to you- I'm quite fine with whatever you intend to call me by." So long as it wasn't insulting, of course.

And so, with a bow to Erika- and an apologetic look- he would turn to begin walking towards the camp of the Kingdom of Xystansi. The poor girl would likely have to deal with so much insubordination whilst he was away. It was hard enough for Kiran himself to keep half of the men under control. Shameful, really- he'd have to speak to the lords that dedicated their men to this about how sloppy their troops were.

"Y-yes Earl Fallstar! I will not rest until... well uh, I'll keep watch." Erika marches off somewhere else, her shoulders tightly upright and uncomfortable looking. The noise from the Xystansi campsite appears to be steadily growing louder and louder upon approach, and a large bonfire lights up the night sky.

Hazan discovers the source very easily, as a giant bonfire lights up the celebrations in the dark night sky. A furred feline man greets her with a warm smile as he sees her approaching alone. "Greetings, stranger." He husks amicably in a heavy foreign accent. "Would you like to partake in the festival and feast?" He offers a clay cup of sweet smelling red liquid.

Gissha can see that the festivities are begining to attract more than just the locals. Member of the other kingdoms are beginning to filter in here and there, and then an entire other clan of catfolk find themselves a part of this group's festivities, bringing their own food and instruments as the noise elevates even further.

It takes everything Hazan has to keep from cutting the man down where he stands. He can't possibly know about the years she's spent killing and cooking her own food to make sure raiders don't attempt to poison her and how paranoid it's made her. He doesn't deserve to die from what amounts to an innocent mistake. Loosening her grip on her weapon, she forces a smile out. "Only if I know what I'm partaking of." She says, trying to be as polite as she can.

Eolande was curios on who attacked her.
This was supposed to be a non aggressive meet? At least she wasn't as bored as she was a second ago.
Since dodging the arrows and avoiding combat altogether was predictable, and more importantly, boring, Eolande decided that some spontaneity was in order.
Settling for her best bloodthirsty grin, she charged towards the area that the arrows were fired from, ignoring the stinging blows of the blunt arrows.

Hanako would nod softly obviously not much for diplomacy. she would walk along beside he man, her shorter stature making her have to move quicker but she didn't seem to mind. "I apologize if I come off as rude Earl Fallstar. I'm used to cutting men down rather then speaking. why our nation choose their samurai to represent them I'll never know." she looks away from him as they aproach the xystansi encampment. She watches the bonfire the flames dancing in her eyes as the noises grow louder. "Wonder where they found lumber to burn...." she would say idly, looking around for woods..

Gissha sighed heavily. If people were going to start wandering in from neighboring camps, she was going to have to get on with looking the part of the leader. Already beginning to unhook the straps of her shirt she passed by the young warrior and tapped him on the shoulder "You! You're supposed to be watching the camp's southern boarder. Move now!" She shouted at him with a sly wink, and then she turned and walked toward the central tent, letting her top fall back to hang at her belt as she continued to untie the thin black chords holding her otherwise baggy red uniform close to her body.

After a few short minutes inside the tent, she stepped back out dressed in an identical outfit, save that it was a vary pale shade of cream kept tight by lengths of white chord. After fidgeting a moment to make the outfit settle comfortably, she set off in search of some of the other nations guard leaders to warn them not to sour relations on the first night by disturbing the neighboring camps.

"I don't doubt that they brought their own for it." Kiran said quite absently, looking for whoever might be the leader- or rather, the diplomat in charge- of this particular camp. It seemed he'd have to begin questioning people. If anything, whether or not he found them, it was likely that they would catch wind of his inquiries and come straight to him. After all, he stood out quite a bit. The first tribesman or woman that came near him would be called over, and he would begin to ask around- all business at present, it seemed. And any man or woman from Rosphadon would be ordered back to the camp. They were not given any leave by him, if he found any. They would be told to immediately report to Second Lieutenant Lionheart for disciplinary action.

"Indeed they did" an unamused voice answers Kiran as it approaches from his right. A lizzan easily his height and wrapped in white linen approached the western camp entrance with a slightly strained smile. "I apologize for the noise. As you know, Xystansi rarely acts as a cohesive whole. I'm afraid I only have unfettered disciplinary control over my own people." She says gesturing toward a darkened line of tents at the leading edge of the camp. "Not that they need any." she finishes, clearly distracted for a moment as she catches the eye of one of the guard leaders she'd been seeking and gestures angrily across the distance for him to lower the volume.

"I'm sorry," she says turning back to the two visitors. "Where are my manners? I'm Gissha Blackscale, Ambassador of Rhegansfell." She says with a respectful nod. "Is that one with you as well?" She asks, motioning toward the lupine at the other side of the entrance speaking with what appeared to be a drunk guard. It was hard for Gissha not to roll her eyes.

Almost immediately, Kiran would turn towards the lizzan that spoke, blinking. Well, that was unexpected- and apparently, he'd found her already. Quite handy. "I'm honoured to meet you, Madame Blackscale. I am Earl Kiran Fallstar, Ambassador of Rosphadon." The knightly noble would bow- and, if allowed, would take her hand to brush his lips against her knuckles. He was unsure as to whether she would take offense to this or not, but it was certainly worth a shot. Already, he was holding her in high regard. Much more ordered and civil than those of the other Xystansi in this camp. So few humans... Ah well. It was to be expected, from a primarily catfolk kingdom.

"T'is quite a surprise to see a Lizzan. Would you like to move to a more quiet locale, so that we might speak in private? Perhaps over a meal."

Eolande runs directly into an arrow in mid flight and the music immediately stops. "Ah, a madwoman a see." A voice form up high jests playfully. A shadowed figure lights a match and ignites a nearby lamp from his perch on up high. "Forgive me fair lady, if I had disturbed you. You seemed quite bored ad I thought you might enjoy a song." The man, who is revealed to be a brown hued catfolk wears a typical Lapidan commoner's outfit, with a feathered fedora hat. He has a bow and a large array of the same type of arrows that were seenw being fired nearby.

"Ah apologies, woman." The man states ass he takes as sip of the previously offered drink. "It is the sweetberry wine. Not a strong drink mind you, but good for loosening up on occasion. It can get pretty dry out here on guard duty, so if you are not inclined to celebrate, I would not be against you remaining here."

Kiran found only one Rosphodan wander admits the tribal camps, getting a bit too friendly with the locals. When he is reprimanded and told who to report to, all the color drains from his face, but he relents and slips away. Funny, as shy and bashful as Erika seems to behave, men always get that way when informed they are in trouble with her.

Hanako looks the lizzan over with a curious cock of her head, it was quite interesting to see so many races in one place. highly unusual. She would look between the two six footers, feeling extremely diminutive, her height way lower then theirs at only 5'4 " I am Tsukiko. One of the ambassadors from Ishouto." looking to where the Lizzan had pointed she would nod " That's the other diplomat.....A dinner Fallstar? I thought we were going to meet the rest of the diplomats. "

"I apologize, but is Earl your name or your title, Ambassador Fallstar? I'm afraid I've worked with Rosphadon very little." She says as he takes her hand and bows, causing a creeping smile to infect her formerly humorless features.

When he speaks again, her expression turns to one of embarrassed shock. "I-I-I don't think that that would be appropriate Ambassador." She stammers, blushing deeply. "W-we barely know one another." As she uncomfortably squirmed under his advances her tail curled around into her hands where she nervously twirled a few feathers. Being asked something like that by a complete stranger! It was flattering, sure, but wholly unconventional. "A-Are all Barb- I mean, all humans so forward?" she asked at length.

"T-Tsukiko... H-hello." She says to the lupine as she extends her hand to shake, clearly flustered. "Yes... I think n-now isn't the time for a, um... dinner." she says, blushing once more.

Eolande stopped her charge short. She stared at the Feline with a frown of disappointment.
"Aye, if one is bored to the point of madness. Nevertheless, I thank you for my temporary diversion from my past state of affairs. Eolande Stoirm Amhrán is mine name," she introduced herself.
That name would raise a few eyebrows, as the second half of her name roughly translated to "Storm Song".
She continued on, "As for the song, it was a nice touch, though firing a bow along side it would seem quite a difficult task, no?"

Kiran blinked. Well... That was not what he expected from this. "Is... There something I should be aware of?" He was completely and utterly confused at this point. Why was Gissha so embarrassed all of a sudden. "I apologise if I offended you, Madame Blackscale. Kiran is my name- Earl is a title." He explained, trying to change subjects. He'd definitely messed up somewhere here. What was so shameful about a meal to cause this Lizzan to clam up as she did? And 'forward'? Did she think that...

His cheeks turned red as he thought. Oh. That's where he went wrong. "... Y-yes, we are going to be seeing the other diplomats, Tsukiko." It seemed that he'd propositioned the woman without realising! While she was certainly beautiful and exotic, that was never his intention. He was here for diplomacy rather than courting. He wore a truly apologetic expression, glancing away and chuckling sheepishly.

The feline mystery man give Eolande an inviting smile. "Kao's the name, Grene Kao." He shrugs half halfheartedly as he knocks another arrow, and then unleashes a long high-pitched note into the air. "I suppose I just have complicate hobbies" He comments nonchalantly, "Perhaps hobbies would do you good as well?" Kao flashes another smile at this.

A sensual growl fills the awkward silence as a catfolk woman from one of the Xystansi tribe introduces herself in a way that is common for her people. "Let us look upon each other, strangers." Her exotic voice state as she enters the situation. Gissha knows of this woman by word of mouth, and her reputation is... less than prudish. Part of one of the more wealthy merchant tribes of Xystansi, their beliefs rest firmly within the sharing of 'worldly delights'. "I am known as Nealee Dresta. Might I interest you all in some drink?"

Kiran, personally, was welcome for the distraction. His attention went immediately to Nealee, bowing to the catfolk woman. "Pleased to meet you, I am Earl Kiran Fallstar." His stock greeting- said in a much more hasty fashion, so as to move away from the awkwardness of the silence that permeated the air around the group. Regardless of the noise in the camp. He knew nothing of the woman, of course, nor the tone of her growl. "I am sorry, though... I do not drink in public settings."

"T-Then nice to meet you Earl Fallstar." Gissha says, slowly pulling her composure back together. "I'm sorry, but I'll not be sharing a meal with you or anyone else. For my people, that is an intimacy for families and lovers alone. If you'd like to get to know me, then I'm sure we can find other activities." She said suggestively. He may be uncomfortably forward in some respects, but as humans went he wasn't hard on the eyes. An afternoon in his company certainly wouldn't be a bad thing.

Then, an interruption causes Gissha to bite her cheek in minor annoyance. "Nealee." She replies in a curt greeting. She swore that woman would eat with anyone. However, after going to the trouble of reminding herself that they were all outsiders, it was surprising to find herself backpedaling a bit on the subject of Kiran. For a barbarian, at least, it seemed that he might actually have at least some measure of modesty. The thought brought her a slight smile. Maybe there were a few civilized people hiding in the savage lands.

At least Kiran knew now not to so recklessly ask another whether they would like to share a meal or not. Noted. Some cultures were quite different indeed- for him, a meal was simply a meal. A comfortable setting where all parties involved could eat and converse in a private and polite setting. Typically, at least- there were always the outliers, he found in the court. Some were utterly despicable with their manners! Atrocious! However, Gissha's tone was quite easily picked up- he understood words far better than purrs, and he flushed at her suggestion. "N-noted. Once again, I apologise, Madame Blackscale. It seems I need to study your culture further to avoid such... Misunderstandings."

The fact that the tables had now been turned and she was propositioning him caused the young noble to retreat somewhat. And she called him forward!
