At the scene of the wrecked camp, Candy did not anything of interest, until she searched one of the tents. She found some clothing scattered about, including a set of boots, that appeared to have some magical properties. As of yet, she could not tell what. She also found a small health potion, as well as a strange rune, that had magical symbols carved in it. As she searched around the camp, she found several footprints heading off into the east.

Candy looked at the boots and rune, pocketing the potion without a thought. She wondered if she had to go to someone in town to get items identified, or if she would ever learn such a spell. Then again, she could always just try using them and seeing if they did anything. After thinking about it for a moment...she decided that the urge to try the boots on and use the rune would have to wait till she found out what they did. Instead, she went out the tent and moved over towards the footprints. She couldn't figure out if any of them were the students and anything else, but she choose to follow after them. What was the-

No, she did not finish that thought, no she didn't!

Wulf decided to turn in the quest right away after which she would wonder off and sell her old gear to whoever offers the most for it

Rosa decides to turn in the quest first. This way she'll have more money to spend on armor, weapons, or supplies. She needed something more than what she currently had.

With the imp on the floor and unable to get back up, Lulu decides it's time to finish the thing off. Since it can't dodge, she can wail on the thing with no fear of missing! Pulling her claymore back, she uses Cleave on the beast, trying to straight up destroy it in one blow.

Haaahhh... If only the real world were like this. Karina smiles broadly at the rather soothing time she spends to herself after her rather long day. She rests underneath a tree for a while and decides it's probably a good time to make her way back to the city to check if there's anything to do.

Arashi switches targets from one imp to Lulu's own imp just to make doubly sure. They didn't have time to fuck around and it was better to try and pull a quick two on one attack whilst the imp was stunned. It would be very foolish not to do so.

Ruby found the quest guidelines actually useful, as they lead her towards the boss. As expected, as soon as she got into the slums, the "quality" of the buildings dropped considerably, though it didn't affect her much. Eventually, she got near the place where the alchemist was, and here she stopped. Two shady men were near. They looked like thugs, and in fact, they would probably be the thugs assigned from the syndicate to guard the alchemist. Ruby rethinks about her aim. Probability of that alchemist being one of the best (if not the best) in this city was high, but since he's affiliated with the syndicate, it's also probable that he's not exactly a good person. Well, he could also being threatened into doing it, or he could just be doing it for the money. Best case scenario would be if he's threatened into it, but that's also the less probable. Anyway, the real problem here is one: how to convince him to teach her Alchemy. It would be nice if her 33 gold coins were enough for him, but things probably wouldn't be so easy. Ruby figured that, in this game, Alchemy would probably be one of the best skills to have, since she could make her own potions and poisons, and even though she plans to take on more crafting abilities, this one is absolutely a must have, no matter the price.

In the end she decides that she'll just decide once she met him, and for now she'll enter. Stealthy, trying to not make any noise, Ruby will try to sneak around, to see if there is any unguarded entrance, and if there is, she'll enter from there. Otherwise, continuing to sneak around, she'll try to attack both the unaware thugs while using Double Slash

Ava was perplexed by the entry. It seemed to have been written by a woman, some kind of mage, who was on an expidition to uncover some sort of ruin. She assumed that, because there was only one entry, the writer had probably lost all her health and would have respawned and be back for her journal shortly. That was logical, no? Ava considered waiting for the woman, but decided to just keep scrounging through the camp to see if she could loot anything more than the health potion. She moved slowly and cautiously due to her lack of perception, with a magical bow out just in case of the worst.

Candy:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Candy followed the footprints, off to the east. They appeared to be of human origin, or some other bipedal creature. They didn't look like monster tracks at the least. However, once they got to a small clearing, the footprints scattered about. She couldn't read exactly what happened, but it appeared to have been a fight of some sorts around here. Judging by the burns, as well as the frozen plants, magic must have been involved. The footprints then headed off further east, with noticeably fewer footprints. She then followed the trail to another clearing, where she saw the ruins of what looked like an old outpost. The building was tall with walls surrounding all of it, and it was shaped much like a small castle, only the bricks were all white, and appeared to glow in the sun. Candy could see that the trail went in that direction, but she could not see anyone.

Ava:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Ava scrounged and scrounged all over the camp, and other than a pair of silk panties, found nothing interesting. The camp was almost entirely devoid of possessions that interested her. She did however, finally spot several human looking footprints heading off toward the north. There was also a set of what looked like horse prints, but they appeared to be from a creature with only two legs.

Wulf and Rosa:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The journey to the pub was short and sweet. Wulf and Rosa both found the three men still sitting at their table. Once the women returned, they each looked at them expectedly, awaiting their answer. Upon discovering that the mine had been cleared off all monsters, the men jumped up in a cheer. The leader then thanked the women once more.
"Thank you so much for this. y friends and I will head to that old mine right away and see what we can scrounge up from there. You two will each get a small share of the profits for clearing the mine out. However, my friends and I will need some time to actually start digging. However, I do have a small prize for you two right now."
He said with a smile on his face, as she then handed both women a coin purse containing twenty coins in it.

Arashi and Lulu:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Lulu slashed her claymore down at her stunned opponent. The imp was unable to counter or dodge her in any way, as her blow came faster and stronger than normal. Her claymore easily separated his head from his body, causing black blood to shoot up into the air for a moment, as his life drained away. The imp corpse hit the ground with a thud. Lulu now had an opportunity to see that everyone else was still in battle. Arashi however, was making a move in her direction, with an imp just above and behind him.
Lulu rolls a: 20 (Crit Hit.)
Imp rolls a 3: Hp. 0/6

As Arashi made his way over to help Lulu, he saw her take the head off of her stunned opponent. His own opponent then came to mind, as the imp flew by Arashis face, barely missing a chance to cut his face open with his claws. The imp let out a small growl in frustration, as his red form whipped past Arashi. The imp then swung around to attack Arashi again, this time full on.
You roll a: 14
Imp rolls an: 11

Karina
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Karina made her way back to town without any trouble. The people were going about their business as usual. The guards were watching, and the people were walking around. She did not come across any random events or unusual scenarios, this time, as she walked into the city, and got the sweet smell of pollution into her lungs.

Ruby:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Ruby is able to slip by the armed thugs in the street, by taking a back alley. She easily came around to the building where her target resided. The building looked like it had been a warehouse at some point. However, now it had a large chimney, that billowed a small stream of smoke from it. The thugs were none he wiser of her presence, as she made her way up to the back door without incident, and was able to sneak inside. Once inside, she found herself in what was obviously a warehouse. There was a large wall twenty feet in front of her that sectioned off the building. She could see two doors, one on the first floor and one on the second floor, that lead past the wall she was looking at.

Candy had no exact clue as to what happened at this point. She assumed they had left the camp to go check some sort of disturbance, and found themselves under attack. She wasn't sure if they won or lost, but at the moment she was banking on lost. Now standing before this outpost, she figured they'd been taken inside for gods knows what.

Well, there was only one way to find out. Head on in!

Wulf nods and takes the coin purse before setting out to sell her old gear and maybe buy some more upgraded gear for her legs or maybe some gloves if she can afford either

Rosa accepts their gratitude as well as the money bag. She said she'll keep in contact with them to see how their mining operation goes. She heads out of the pub and heads towards the vendors. New weapons or armor would be good for her considering her class was low damage and armor. Maybe she could find something specific for her class instead.

Ava could barely contain her excitement, and had to force herself to refrain from jumping with joy. Once again on the hunt, she followed the footprints, almost running, she tracked down the possible assailant of the adventurers.

For a brief moment, she feels relieved that none of the blood spewing from her dead enemy got on her. She remembers the last time she was covered in blood in the heat of battle and has little desire to repeat the incident with black blood instead. She's not nearly far enough into battle lust. The thought drifts away when she remembers she's still in combat and should keep her guard up. Seeing Arashi still taking on his Imp, she creeps behind it since it's showing its back to her to take on Arashi and swings at its head. Her strategy is twofold: 1) If she hits it, game over and they win. 2) Even if she misses, it's pinned between her and Arashi so if he goes lower, then dodging the both of them should be really hard to do.

Candy:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The fortress looked old and weathered, but still maintained its white hue to it. It appeared to be of some unusual and artistic construction, probably elven. The fortress was fairly large however, as Candy noticed once she got close enough to see the fortress up close and personal. As she rounded a corner of the wall, Camdy spotted something standing at what appeared to be a gate. The gate looked like it couldn't close and was in the process of being repaired. However, right outside the gate, she saw what looked like a horse anthro in bandit armor standing guard out front. He was wearing a dark leather armor with a black cloak, that almost concealed his sword on his right hip.

Ava:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Ava follows the footprints through a section of forest. The forest has the normal forest sounds, but nothing unusual. She soon finds a small clearing in the forest however, where it appears that a battle took place and something else. She saw arrows in the trees and ground, as well as several spots that had been burned or frozen, from magic attacks. However, she also saw in the middle of the clearing, the remains of a mage robe that had been torn and shredded, as well as female underwear, that had been torn up as well. However, she only found a single, small spot of blood amongst the clothing. It didn't look to be enough for a wound. Towards the other end of the clearing, she saw more footprints that lead further into the forest.

Wulf and Rosa:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Both of you spot a store between the armor store and the potion shop, that looks to be a fletcher. You both find it just a few minutes apart, with Wulf finding it first. Rosa finds it just a few moments afterward. Inside the store is a tall anthro male dressed in ornate leather armor, with a whole wall full of bows and arrows, as well as leather armor.
Hard Leather Cuirass: 45 gold coins: Same as Wulf: +4 for Rosa
Hard Leather Helmet: 35 Gold coins: +3 for Wulf: +2 for Rosa
Hard Leather Bracers: 30 gold coins: +2 for Wulf: +1 for Rosa
Hard Leather Greaves: 30 Gold coins: Same as Wulf: +2 for Rosa
Hard Leather Boots: 25 coins: +2 for Both

His head jerked back out of sheer reflex after hearing leathery wings come up behind him and then he swung his sword low in an attempt to cut him in two at the torso. He sat Lulu was behind the beast so this could work out rather well if she went high.

An Elven like fortress...well, she was rather impressed by its size and style certainly, whomever had built it. She walked along its wall, keeping an eye out for anything of interest...which she found when she rounded the corner. The gate to the fortress seemed to be broken, and was in the middle of being repaired...by bandits it looked like.

Candy was torn. She was a Sorcerer, and didn't possess (at least now) any sort of stealth abilities, so trying to sneak in wouldn't be easy. She wasn't sure she could make to big of a distraction to draw the guard away, at least not without revealing her position. And she had a feeling that just stepping forth and firing off a fireball wouldn't end well for her.

So, after a moment of thought, she decided she was going to try something...unorthodox. Taking a moment to take in a deep breath and relax, she allowed a friendly, cheerful smile to spread across her face, and she started humming to herself as she skipped around the corner, dancing a little as she made her way in the general direction of the gate. She then 'pretended' not to see the bandit, and carelessly bump into him, resulting in her cutely landing on her rump.

"Ow...Oh! Sorry about that, hehehe, guess I wasn't looking where I was going!" She said in a cheery tone, trying to play the part of a bubbly but ditzy mage.

Ruby manages to get inside without much problem and, once she's in, she has to choose where to go. The girls remains still for a second, thinking about where to go, and then finally decides to start by searching the upper floor. Still sneaking around, she goes near the door of the second floor, and then carefully lightly open it, as to see what's inside

Rosa looked over the armor, frowning a bit at the prices. She needed better armor and also better weapons. She only had 90 gold on her though. (I assume I didn't start with only gold so she only has what she's found so far.) She decided she'll buy a couple pieces of armor and then spend the rest on a new weapon. "Excuse me sir, I would like to purchase the hard leather boots and pants."

Lulu and Arashi:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The small imp was caught between both Arashi and Lulu. This proved to be the creatures destruction, as both of their blades collided with the monster. The two swords connected with the creature at the same time, effectively cutting him into three separate pieces. The pieces and large quantity of blood hit the ground with a wet thud, as the black blood spilled all over the ground. At this point, the two warriors were able to see that most of their company was still fighting. Melwin however, had finished off his opponent with a slash to the throat, and went over to help Sheera.
Lulu rolls a: 2 HP. 20/20
Arashi rolls a: 10 HP. 19/20
Imp rolls a: 1 HP. 0/6

Candy:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Candys move against the horse ended with him falling back, but not falling down. He then placed a hand on the hilt of his sword as he looked over to her.
"Halt, who are you, what are you doing here?"
He said, as his hand rested upon the pommel of his blade, while he looked her over with a critical eye. The horse man looked a bit suspicious of her.

Ruby:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Ruby made her way up to the second floor without any trouble. However, the door was a little stuck, and she had to put some effort into opening it. Once she got the door open, she was able to make her way inside. She stood on a catwalk over looking the bottom floor. From there, she could see across the building a set of stairs that lead up to what looked like an office. The warehouse was mostly empty for a small section near the office that looked like an alchemy lab. However, the important thing right now, was that there were two guards on the bottom floor. They were both sitting on some boxes talking, but Ruby could not hear what about.

Rosa:
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The transaction goes without a hitch, as Rosa buys her new pieces of armor. However, now she has to decide what to do with the armor she has on. She could probably sell the boots and pants she is currently wearing for a handful of coins, to help make things go a little easier. However, she has now acquired some more and better armor.
