Grape a few things first I literately watched monty python last night two I FUCKING KNEW YOU WERE GOING THERE!!! Three shouldn't Blair know about the bunnies if she has been hunting in this area and as such know how to beat and or escape them?

This specific area is a bit unfamiliar to her. She usually carries around a lot more rations, but the possibility of such a large prey initially was tempting enough to "pull her out" into less familiar areas (up until she realized it was leading her to a less defensible area). Realistically the places she's most comfortable with are probably further southwest/southeast along I70.

She knows that food, loud noises, and fire temporarily disperses them, but the only real way to "escape" them is to practically find a distraction (such as one of the dispersion methods) long enough to get out of there, or give them another target (such as a wandering raider along a road). The starved blood-crazed variety of rabbit are typically rare enough that she's probably only encountered them a few times in the past.

They're just rabbits (E.G. 1d2 small bite damage with disease potential), so killing them is easy enough, but it's the numbers/fact that they're disease-ridden that really make them a menace. Because of the way it's set up, if she decided to run for it immediately after watching the rabbits go after the one, she'll get a bonus to her escape.

Well, the overland one is just RPGmaker Ace since I've already got the software to work on Corrupted Honor when the mood strikes.

As for the "indoor maps" I found this flash program that was working pretty well, but decided to crash and give me an unreadable jpeg file when I used it. So... Indoor-maps-wise I'm still looking since I'd rather avoid the pain in the ass that is downloading three dozen new tilesets for use with ace interiors/exteriors.

Yep! I'm probably going to use the map post captions to make general IC announcements like "this enemy has been spotted in this general region according to the radio!" and such. Some of them will be important "news updates" while others will just be flavor text.

Double post: Added some Grey Eagle leaders and one or two NPCs to the plot character list. I went ahead and finished up the skills section too*.

If anyone would like to change their profession now that skills are officially in, I'll allow it since they weren't in before.

How the "combat" skills are going to function: Combat skills like firearms (one handed) won't boost your chance to hit, but will instead go directly into your DRPP calculations (*2) to bypass armor. So if you roll an 84, it will effectively make that a 94. It will also mildly affect damage from time to time (If an enemy would be at something stupid like 1 or 2 HP and you happen to have the skills relating to your weapon in question, I'll go ahead and just tack on that extra damage point or two based on your expert fighting skills).

In general, I've fallen a little behind on all my posts, so for that, I apologize. I am however appreciative of the fact that I am not currently holding anyone up. I think that with so many people actively involved, everyone has their own schedule, so it doesn't make sense to cater to anyone in particular if you don't otherwise have to. Moving on, excellent work Grape_Drink. I was pretty excited to read through the list of skills, and I think that you've put together a pretty good, comprehensive list. My ONLY complaint, is that Mutations sits between Profession and Skills, but that is easily remedied by not having that particular tab open, so I guess that isn't really a complaint at all. Good job! Also, I'm curious as to whether or not we can acquire more skills down the road, or increase the ones that we already have. Regardless, I think that I'm happy with the profession that I've chosen for my character.

On a somewhat unrelated note, I happened to stumble across this a few minutes ago. While I don't know if it's of use to anyone, or a resource that some are already utilizing for other things, but it seemed kind of neat. I'll include the picture that I saw too, but basically, it's like a little flash "game" where you can outfit this little dude with gear (clothing, weapons, etc) and it will display it all, and give you the weight of everything equipped.

So depending on how things go, the next post after this one I'm working on may not be until next Tuesday/Wednesday. Still got a bunch of crap to get done/study before uni starts back up on Tuesday.

Don't worry about it too much with post speed. Only "requirement" for this one is to make sure to post at least once a week so I know you're still in the game is all in case we have anyone waiting to join. :lol:

Yeah, I can move professions and skills together. The separation was more since folks have to pick a profession/mutation, but don't necessarily need to know the fine details of what skills do.

Heh, haven't seen innawoods since I used to browse /pol/ for lols. It's a fun program, though easily abuseable (I think I made a guy that looked like Hank Hill with ten dozen things of propane on him once).


EDIT: And yeah, you'll be able to gain extra skills/increase skills down the road, but the extra skills will count as +2s instead of +5s and such.

(first off, sorry about the double post, just the fact I have a question.)

Is it possible for me to do an intelligence check to see if Ciera can remember some bypass commands for securedrones that than shut them off, or remember an easy way of turning them off without damaging the inner workings? Or will she just have to pull the trigger?

I really should include this kind of stuff in the posts, shouldn't I? :lol:

She'd remember that the back panel on them can potentially fry their circuits if damaged, be used to reprogram them, or shut them off if held still long enough. It's only a little above waist height, and pretty light-weight in terms of tackling-power. They really do rely on their tazer component for dealing with people, which they only use for folks who don't follow their directions. Before the war, they would pretty much detain an intruder in the security office and call the local authorities. She'd also remember that their spindly arms are relatively easily snapped by blunt trauma.

Now I have a question XD If I use a drug is it possible to bypass the max 20 for stats or is the the sky limit?

Nah, s'all good. The most elaborate answer I can give at this time is... It depends.

Lets just say that if it has an addiction rate above 40% ("high"), you'll probably get your bang for your buck using it. ;)
