I'll keep it civil, Zeus, though this is an issue with him as an artist, game developer, and overall decent person, so this post is made with the sole intent of helping him become better at all three, as well as to make a statement to all the others who do things like him. LePasseur needs to stop lying to himself and others and cut his losses, which is a lesson many others before and after him will have to learn before they can thrive in any artistic environment.
LePasseur (Can I call you LP?), given about three too many hours of free time, I've decompiled both your flash and the Meet and Fuck - One Piece Nami game I mentioned.
At first when I mentioned the theft, I meant it lightly. While it was an obvious recolor of an existing flash, it didn't bother me one bit, I intended to only tell you that I was aware that the animations you posted wee recolors and edits of an existing flash game, just to see if you would own up to it.
You did, in part, by admitting that the art wasn't yours (again, no foul around here, this very forum was founded by taking Playshapes' art and turning it into something new), but you went on to lie that you merely REFERENCED the MnF animation, and studied from it only to use the pieces provided in the flash and
animate it yourself. And that, as you know, is a lie. Thus, I decompiled both animations and created this for you and all to see:

You animated nothing yourself. The timelines, tweens, object names, EVERYTHING was exactly 100% the same from the source flash by MnF, and as you can see in side-by-side comparisons, everything about the two sets of animations are directly copied. Nobody can "reference" and "study" an animation's timelines and get it to look exactly the same.
Please stop lying like this. You're only hurting yourself and killing your reputation before you even have a chance to establish one.
You did not draw this, you did not animate this. You created a flash
edit, and that's absolutely fine. You can do that. It's okay for your first flash game idea to use existing material as filler that would otherwise be far too time-consuming to do by scratch if all you're trying to do is work around the coding, and not the art.
But by lying about animating things you did not animate, you set yourself up as just another cheat stealing the IP and work of other artists, which if you're trying to turn a profit from your game, is highly illegal. Don't claim art you didn't draw, don't claim animations you didn't animate, and site your sources for both legality and common courtesy for those who created the work you use. And respect your peers by not trying to pull a fast-one on them with lies upon lies.
You don't have to remove this thread or abandon the project. Just stop lying.
