Amber giggled and nodded,"Well then... guide us little fairy! Lead us to the treaureeee!" She said hopping alittle and making her assets jiggle slightly in her top. And the fairy liked her. Awesome. She liked her too... so adorable! She poked the little fairy lightly,"You are adorable. I like you too. Now this one needs to hurry up so we can go... I got all the sleep I need." She said prodding Darius.

The wolf seems to understand her words and changes direction, heading North. They walk and walk, but never seems to stop, making Ruby doubt if the wolf really understood what she said... until they come across a small runlet. She's curious about it, if it's water is potable, but she becomes even more curious when the wolf shows a well hidden hole near it. The canine enters, and so she follows inside. To her surprise, that small hole was in fact an entrance to a bigger underground cave... a bit too small to really be called cave. Yes, more than a cave, it would be better to call it a small den, big enough for her to "move" crawling around comfortably, but not enough to stand up.
It's a place fit for wild animals to be in, but the girl can't really complain since she's the one who asked him to bring her here and... her stomach is once again giving her troubles. Sometimes it cramps, sometimes it give her nausea, sometimes he lets her get a bit of rest, but it's overall a problem, even more so if they have to move around. Luckily they are resting now inside there, so she doesn't have to move around. It's been quite some time from this morning, and a bit of hunger begins to shows sometimes, between the fits of nausea.

She doesn't really want to eat, but she has to remain strong if she has to travel along those lands. Same for the wolf, who needs to eat to recover from his injuries. From her belonging the girl takes some ration, giving some to the wolf and eating some herself. Once she finish she'll just lay down and sleep, hoping that her sickness will go away after some hours of complete rest.

Though the beasts looks capable of defending themselves from trouble, from the tales, this land is too dangerous to leave (presumably) valuable mounts unguarded. Elenwe is confident enough in her skills to be sure nobody has seen her sneaking in here, so whoever left them here will propably return soon to keep watch. Sound of rain will help mask the noise of her steps in the mud, but that works both way...there's possibility of contact with the enemy just beyond the corner. Cliffs don't offer much in the way of alternate routes and there's nowhere to hide on the path, but it's the way towards the camp (or at least the source of smoke) beyond the bend.

Turning to see Shura nearby, Elenwe puts her finger to her lips to gesture him to stay quiet, then she follows the path to the bend, carefully checking where she steps so she won't slip on the muddy ground...that could be dangerous on this cliff. After reaching the corner of the cliff, she looks to see what's beyond, without exposing more then her head and hopefuly, without alerting whoever is on the other side to her presence.
If it takes me two weeks or more to respond to a RP without prior notice, send me a PM. It's more likely I've missed the last post, forgot or got distracted and need a little reminder rather than deciding to drop the game without warning.

Kylie rubbed the ring once more, savoring the ability to smell the fresh air with heightened acumen. Quite a peculiar thing, this ring was. But it wasn't important- she wanted to get these gifts back to her friends and have a nice meal. And, most importantly, warm up Mr. Penguinchop.
But then she remembered, partially at least, what had happened the night before. She checked to see if she still had the trinket the sailor had given her before going out that had stopped the beast the first time. If she didn't have it, that would be worrisome. If she did, then she figured that it might have just been a bad dream. All this thinking was making her hunger for some real adventure.

Following Elenwe's suggestion, Shura kept as quiet as he could. He wasn't sure if the rain was a blessing or a curse, but it was probably the closest thing that he'd get to a bath for a while and for that he could be grateful. The plant viscera had left him sticky and uncomfortable, even after it had dried. With any luck, whatever of it that was left on his body would be washed away by the rain. That was his hope at least.

For the time being, the tethered creatures struck him as more of an oddity rather than a concern. Considering what they've encountered so far however, perhaps it should be the other way around. Seemingly, they posed no immediate threat, and were quite focused on devouring the wasp corpses in front of them. They had to be tied down for a reason though, and more importantly, someone, or something had to have done so.

Whether or not they were any closer to locating the other member of their group was anyone's guess. He trusted that Elenwe knew what she was doing, but this place seemed to have a way of separating people, as Garian wasn't the only one that they'd managed to misplace.

Garian smiled and walked out from where he was hiding and looked at the Goblins, "Hello lads, heard you lot are hungry and are looking to leave alive. How about a deal." He said and looked at the kobold and gave him a look as to say 'Don't do anything stupid' and then looked at the Goblins again, "You help me find an Amulet your boss may have and I'll have my kobold friend here talk to the other kobolds to let you out without problem, even have them share food with you if need be." He said, "Isn't that right, lad?" He said, looking at the Kobold, giving him a death glare.

Darius rolled his eyes and grinned at Amber's sudden appearance to hid his thoughts about his little corrections officer. Myn would be keeping her eyes on him now with the dark fairy, so succumbing to corruption would have more consequences than just his purity this time. Not even Myn would be that forgiving of a twice-fallen disciple. That would be something else to worry about another day though. "Yea, I like her too, even though she seems to have a bad habit of snooping. But she has enough "skill" so I'll keep her around." He poked Amber on her right breast before quickly walking past her, finding her excitement contagious. "I already have a potential area scouted out. You get my bird then meet me at the front gates in an hour, while I get supplies. If you want to get paid and get a cut of the treasure then you'll hurry up!" He flashed her a wink before rushing towards the market.

Everything else passed rather quickly as he sold the moonstone before hurrying over to a blacksmith to purchase the best Kurki he could with enough to buy a tent for two."If she's gonna be sticking around, I should probably teach her a few things about Myn and her teachings." He chuckled as he made his way with supplies towards the front gate.

Rayle turned and ran hoping to outrun the goblins with her longer legs. She tried to keep an eye out for any mud on the road and avoid it, an unlucky fall might leave her in an awkward position. She kept running until she was either to tired to continue or couldn't hear the goblins chasing her any longer.

Amber giggled as she felt him poke her firm right breast,"You better be careful~ a girl might get the wrong idea..." She teased before dashing off on her task. She quickly dashed back to the room and pointed at the bird,"Oh bird. Get over here. We got business! Now hurry up before I like you into a pie and eat you." She said with a lick of her lips and gathered their bags. Time to head to the meeting place! Cute fairy will be glad to see her. And she would get her cut. Whether she hurried or not. Her charms were irresistible! She was already getting to Darius! Soon he would be giving her all of his treasure. Yum....

Sidra (~2/3 HP)
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Sidra Vs. Wereboar- 16 + 1(hunter) Vs. 14
Reflex Save (DC 12 as per previous roll)- Natural 1

You deftly dodge to your left, aligning your blade as you bring it down. It intercepts with his neck, digging deep into the swine beast's flesh- surely if it doesn't die from an injury like that, it will at least drown in its own blood. However, a pain shoots through your arm as you do so. You find yourself lifted a good foot or so off the ground. Looking for the source of pain, you find your arm partially impaled on one of his tusks as trickles of your own crimson lifesource flow from the still-impaled wound.

Perhaps its the sight of your blood, perhaps its something else, but as you stare into this beast's dieing eyes you can't help but feel an inner rage welling up from within. A rage towards this land, towards your past and those who died in the dragon's fires, and not just a whim, but an almost feral want to kill the other wereboar. Painfully.

Berserk mode may be activated at will or staved off.

Blake
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"I'm sure I have some uses."

"Well, an extra pair of hands is always appreciated."

He chuckles at his own pun as the soldier on the horse over shoots down the Imp. Your ministrations are rewarded soon enough as a different kind of soldier stands at attention. He's not the largest around at only four, maybe five, but he's definitely thick as he helps warm your hands up.

"I'm sure a woman of your-oh... Profession will... ahem, will have no trouble down in Drubkirk when we arrive- mm, yes- er, yes indeed."

The nearby soldiers quirk their brows at their comrade's odd speech patterns, but make no comment as you discretely lend a "helping hand."

Amber and Darius
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

As you poke the fairy, you find her body is surprisingly soft. The sun begins to rise, and you watch as people begin to make their way onto the streets, a light rain begining. The fairy vanishes into the feywild with a small wisp of red smoke when the crowds begin to appear going about their day, the docks and main gates opening up for trade and business.

When the two of you arrive at the main gate, you find a number of adventurers all gathered around some Rastanite soldiers. It seems they're making an excursion to the "city of sin," Drubkirk, according to the accounts you overhear.

Ruby
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You close your eyes, watching your canine companion munch on the rations. You begin to fall asleep as you watch the wolf get up and head outside, but your tired mind doesn't seem to fully comprehend what's happening as you relax into sleep.

When you awaken, you find a dead mouse in front of you and the wolf sleeping next to you. Your nausea seems to be gone and it appears to be sundown from what you can see outside. Examining yourself though, you find your stomach has distended somewhat. The cave is cozy, warm for the most part if not a little damp and-

Wait a second, your stomach is distended. It isn't much, but it's enough to be noticeable to you. You don't remember eating anything strange nor being bit or stung by anything that releases bloating venoms since coming to the island. The only true thing out of the ordinary was when you and the wolf... That's got to be impossible though. It's a wolf, not even a human, and people don't get pregnant that fast. It's got to be something else... Right?

Elenwe and Shura
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Elenwe Vs. Kobold (stealth)- 12 + 4 Vs. 7
You edge as close around the corner as you can from your position, but you'll have to climb down the mucky ledge or find another way down if you wish to follow the path to the camp. A kobold riding one of the ant things makes its way around the corner and towards the cliff edge. The beast easily begins to climb the near-vertical slope as if it were nothing as the Kobold looks around. They haven't spotted you two yet, given the rain and everything.

Kylie
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You search through your pack to no avail, only to find the trinket a few feet away. Looking over it, it has turned a purplish color and has cracked in half. The area is quite quiet as the home rests not too far away.

Garian
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"You help me find an Amulet your boss may have and I'll have my kobold friend here talk to the other kobolds to let you out without problem, even have them share food with you if need be. Isn't that right, lad?"

The Kobold looks like he's about to have a brain aneurysm as he goes to shout something before one of the goblins interject.

"Bah! Kobolds get in here and all dead. We leave, and we're dead. We leave after using stone- dead! We leave without stone, even if kobolds not kill, still dead! Dead, dead, dead! Gratch really don't want to be dead. What can human offer that makes us less dead? Fend off thing that looks like human when stone awakens it? Bah, not sure human won't be dead too. Human probably more dead when realizes is human. This is why Gratch tells boss going down to southern lands is bad idea! Should have just stayed up in castle with the demon girls and other beasties. Much easier life tied up with multiple-"

"Gratch rambling again! Stop rambling and listen to what hooman proposes!" The other goblin cries out as his partner, half telling the truth, half just wanting to stop whatever story he was about to tell.

Rayle
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Escape Roll; Rayle Vs. Goblins- 10 vs 6

You successfully run uphill towards the other adventurers as stones and sticks fly past you from the goblins. one of them hits your arm leaving a small bruise, but by the time the main horde of adventurers appear in your vision, the goblins have given up the chase.

Marjory tilts her head and stares back at the orangutan like creature. She gives a confused look trying to judge the creature. She takes out a tentacle that she salvaged from the beast that ravaged her earlier and begins chewing on the cooked insides. She also has a flask of the sweet plantlike fluid that she is drinking. She uncaps it and drinks whilst she eats breakfast. Hopefully providing a friendly attitude with this creature was of no harm.

She takes her mouth off of her flask of plant-juice and it makes a small popping sound as she pulls it out of her lips. She continues to stare at the spider rather than the giant ape-like creature sitting atop it eating. Well at least she knew she wouldn't be killed for food. Anything else was beyond her control.

Taking solace in the fact that the ring was still there, Kylie felt at least a little more comfortable. But, still, she did not know what had happened the previous night. Hopefully she would find out more in the future. Taking out the gifts for her friends, Kylie entered the house, unsure as to whether they would still even be there. If they weren't, Kylie would leave the gifts at the house and go on her way. She felt carefree today, so if she left, she would go in a random direction.

Sidra is Grey, Kylie is Red, Blake is pink, Ruby is yellow, Rayle is black, Garian is Purple, Marjory is dark blue, Amber and Darius are Orange, Elenwe and Shura are light blue, Ingvildr is white.

Appologies, spaced out about the last post's map! >.<

The rain has officially stopped. Sunlight has begun to pour in!

Blake
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"Well, there's... Plenty of work to be found in the ahm... Local vicinity; The Mercenary guild, Rastan's chapel, umph-think the local governor has work. Not to... Mention the night work for the... Local- inns!"

He almost strains the last word as his voice gets quieter. You can feel him pulsing already... Well that's a shame, seems you're on horseback with a short fuse. On the other hand it sounds like this Drubkirk is full of work to be had in more ways than one.

Marjory (+5 Corruption)
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The Bar-Lgura stares at you for a few moments, munching on the chitinous leg for a few moments, the cracking of it in his jaws as he swallows the meat inside before spitting the shell out to the side. Your drink is quite tasty and leaves you all warm and tingly. As he sees you beginning to eat, he rips off one of the smaller legs and offers it to you.

"Hmph... Want some?"

His voice is deep and... Loud. Why is he so loud? Regardless, the leg seems to be far too tough for you to crack open without cooking it first. He continues to eat wordlessly with you, and when you seem to be satisfied with your meal, he picks you up without warning!

The demon tosses you in the air once or twice, seeming to get an idea of how heavy you are before slinging you onto his back and taking off into the trees. Even an expert sprinter would have trouble keeping up with this talking ape... Still, Bar-Lgura are one of the nicer demons, they tend to be at least a little civil and don't kill without reason. You continue along like this for a while as you find yourselves gaining altitude quickly. It seems he's heading up north into the mountains.

marjoryvision.png
An approximate of what Marjory sees from the mountaintop.

"Need your help with a problem." He states as you breach the treeline. Looking out now, you see a wide plain that seems to stretch on for miles, tiny ants of what you guess to be various beasts of the land roam through the tall grass in the distance. To the far North, great mountains taller than these cliffs stretch out for miles, to the east a massive desert, and to the west, sea ports and what can only be remnants of the most devilish portions of the wastes. The view is breathtaking as you look out over the lands. Behind you though rests a small cave, which the large orangatan seems more interested in.

"Need you to crush an urn in the cave." He states briefly and to the point.

Kylie
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Forest Encounter (d100)- 62
List pulled from: [???]
GM Roll; Luck- 18

((Haven't seen a post from 'em since I started posting in here again, so I'm going to roll with it for now))

You enter the house, but it seems everyone's left for the time being. Carefree, you decide to head out into the forest for a walk. Perhaps they'll be back by the time you return? Then again you might just decide to head out on an adventure if the mood strikes you!

As you continue through the forest, different scents greet you. At first it's just fresh pine and such, but when a fox chasing a rabbit catches your attention, a new scent you haven't smelled before greets your nose and makes you almost recoil. Is that... Fear?

Regardless, the walk is rather peaceful until a new, much more pleasurable aroma hits you. This scent almost feels good as you approach it. Soon, the sound of buzzing fills your ears and a... Completely different sound. Brushing a bush out of the way, you find an adventurer pinned against a tree, a reddish brown wasp wrapped around them as it seems to be... Oh my. Her light whimpers fill the air as she seems to be enjoying the ministrations, pieces of the hornet's chitinous abdomen on the ground, seeming to have blown off.

Unfortunately you don't have the means to simply watch or help the adventurer right now, as you see another begin to buzz above in the trees sneakily towards you, likely thinking you haven't spotted it!

Ingvildr
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Having been to the mercenary guild, and with a map in hand, you find yourself standing outside the ruins of a burned-down cottage... Apparently the quest had been put up by Rastanites ages ago, but no one had even bothered to take it due to the risk. Having discovered it some time ago, apparently the dungeon has been one of the Devil King's "stops" when he would grow bored of the castle and make his way east in the past. Clergy seem to think it's one of the sources of corruption in the land, and with good reason. Even standing outside, you can almost feel the taint emanating off of this structure... Approaching the cellar doors, the rotted wood almost falls apart when you open them, and a gust of wind blows forth from within, smelling of age, metal, and the lightest touch of brimstone...

A dungeon in a cottage cellar... Who would have guessed it?

She smiled to herself maybe the night work could be fun after all what better work was there for one of her religion.

(OOC: "List pulled from [???]" means what?)

Kylie remembered what they'd said about wasps: "if it's yellow, stay mellow; if it's brown shoot it down." Unfortunately, she didn't seem to have the time to shoot that one down, as Kylie had problems of her own- the second wasp. Using it's ignorance to her advantage, she watched the first wasp screw the traveler, while keeping an eye on the second to give it the impression she hadn't seen it in the first place. Once it was close enough, she planned to deftly draw her swords and feint attack it. Ideally, it would die quickly so she could attack the first while it was vulnerable. [use feint skill]

If you don't, then I'm afraid you'll either die now or die later from the starvation." He told them and looked around, "So, what's it going to be? Live or die?"

Marjory looks at the Bar-Lgura whilst he runs through the forest at the speed of 2 horses combined. She smiles for the first time in ages since her mentor died. She watches as the world blurs around her and can feel the wind and air getting more chilly and lighter signaling she was going north towards higher elevation. Then they stopped... atop the cliff. She stands there in awe at the view of the lands around her. "This... is..." is all she manages to say softly before the orangutan cuts her off by telling her what to do.

She immediately looks over at the giant orangutan tilting her head a bit unsure about his task. "Why should i break it?" she asks tilting her head curiously. She places her hands on her hips and looks inside the cave. She was suspicious of people trying to get her to do errands. Especially since this one was a person she just met

Blake
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The soldier gives a small hrm of dissapointment as you do so, but makes no comment, looking around and seeming to try and place his attention away from certain areas. One of the Serenithian priestesses on a horse nearby gives you a small smirk and wink, likely having been watching. As you reach the escarpment, you can see the vast, beautiful plains below, and various mountains in the far distance far taller than these. ((refer to Marjory's previous GM post minus the east side)) It's quite the sight to behold, but a certain knight at the front of the group seems to have other ideas on his mind. You guess he's the head of this ragtag mini army of adventurers.

"To all of you thinking of resting here for the evening, I bid you goodbye. We will not cross paths again... Though you may be tired from the long hike, we must press onward and reach Drubkirk before dark. We are not safe here from the demons that roam the night, and this is the point of no return... You will not make it back to the town before nightfall, and thus I bid you to move your feet and horses on to our destination!"

A series of groans and complaints make their way from the various adventurers scrambling up the steep slope behind you. Thinking about it, it's a good thing you decided to stay on horseback.

Kylie
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

((Some of the lists I draw from have one or two monsters not listed in the bestiary. Otherwise I've posted the list publicly at some point or another. It just means it's one of those posts.))

Kylie Vs. Wasp- Natural 20 vs. 16 + 5(Wasp melee trap)

You patiently bide your time as the wasp grows closer at a quickening rate. You note its wings getting louder as if trying to draw your attention as it flings itself forward at full speed! Preparing your feint, you go to slice the creature in two, but unfortunately your blade gets stuck in its sheath! You do, however, notice that the wasp carries an erratic, almost rehearsed movement, flinging itself in the opposite direction where your blade would have sliced it and swinging around, latching onto your back! It seems these wasps specifically set traps to lure adventurers into swinging at them and taking advantage of the momentum to get to business... Something you'll have to keep in mind in the future when dealing with these things. Luckily your blunder leaves the wasp thinking you're out of momentum as you quickly draw your swords and stab the little actor before he can get to whatever sinister plot he had in mind! Tiny droplets of venom leak from its poisonous stinger mere millimeters away from your thigh as it convulses and drops dead, a little wasp blood getting on your neck from the close call.

Looking back towards the less fortunate adventurer, you note her breath as she seems to be panting, enjoying (willingly or not) the ministrations of her wasp lover, his thick organ pumping deeper and deeper inside of her, your mind almost seeming to wonder about the possibilities if you hadn't been so lucky. Your concentration (or perhaps lack thereof) is broken by a girly squeal as she orgasms. You note a number of large orbs beginning to travel up the base of the bug's erratically thrusting penis towards her entrance as it seems to be near its tipping point as well... Well, now's a good time to help her as any if you plan to prevent whatever this bug had in mind!

Garian
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

"So, what's it going to be? Live or die?"

The two goblins look at each other, walking over to a corner and whispering for a moment. They seem to play some sort of hand game as the one puts out two fingers and the other one smacks them with his fist. The one growls before walking back over.

"Bah! Dead either way. Kobolds never hold to promises... He's down there with whore and creepy thing."

The goblin points down a narrow passageway that seems to trek on forever before grumbling something and ignoring you. Well they just seem to be a lovely bunch of folks. Not rude at all, no siree.

Marjory

"Aaaaaagh, just do it!"

The Bar-Lgura loses his temper as he begins thrashing about, picking up a small boulder and chucking it over the side of the mountain as it begins crashing down a few seconds later. He begins to approach you, but seems to suddenly remember that taking his rage out on the person he needs to do the task might not be the best idea. Having calmed himself down a bit, he grumbles under his breath, though being as loud as he is, it can hardly be called a grumble.

"Urgh... Damned humans always wanting reasons when told what to do."

He looks back towards you, huffing as he speaks in a slow, mildly condescending tone.

"This is my home, Human. There are family heirlooms in there, but unfortunately some of your species thought it would be a fun idea to place a powerful priestess's ashes inside my home."

He places a hand against his forehead, speaking once more.

"If you break said urn, or just get rid of it, I won't kill you... And as an added bonus you may take whatever you locate in there that's not bolted down or sealed. This sounds like a good deal, yes?"

Well, aside from being an ass about it he's at least promising some form of compensation. Not the kindest person around, but then again the last two denizens you met in these lands didn't even ask before deciding to try and take advantage of you.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You keep pace with the back of the group as more and more adventurers fall behind to rest on the steep incline. By the time you get to the top, you expect the others to be resting up and preparing camp. Instead, they seem to already be making their way down the hillside save a few adventurers who've set up small campfires.

"To hell with him! why can't we rest!? Not safe my arse, we've got a perfect view if anything comes from any direction 'round these parts!"

In the distance you can see a rather large city surrounded by massive walls... It's likely the destination of these travelling adventurers, as the town is reachable by nightfall... You think. Something in the back of your mind tells you that despite how tired your legs may be from just hiking a mountain, it might be in your best interests to continue along before too much time has passed.
