This is meant to be a subtle feature, but you can use the TM's as items regardless of which Pokemon is out.
... I assume it's only showing the TM's you've gotten so far, right?
nope, it also displays the ones I haven't acquired yet.

I was inspired to try to help and contribute, so I'm going to try to line/colour a few of the gallery photos from the game. Anonymouse Wrote:Also I have some suggestions/feedback, feel free to take it on board or ignore it as you please:
Can you add a 2x version like there was in the last version? The default size is a bit too small for me, and manually rescaling the screen is I think what caused the frame rate loss I had.
Anonymouse Wrote:Also I noticed a couple of bugs/problems with the combat. It doesn't really function consistently with Pokemon switching out and taking turns. Some times I can switch a Pokémon out and then the opponent will take a free turn, sometimes I switch out and the opponent does nothing. Once my Pokémon fainted, my trainer switched in and the enemy got a free attack on me.
Anonymouse Wrote:Paralysis is too unpredictable - you can paralyse them 5 times and have them instantly heal, then they paralyse you for 5 turns and get a tonne of free hits. I would suggest making it a bit more like the games, make it a 50% chance of stopping an attack, but raise the minimum paralysis length.
Anonymouse Wrote:Can we get type indicators on Pokémon? Since some moves have no effect on the same type, and the type isn't immediately obvious or has been changed from the games (no fighting type for Machoke), it would be useful to have a little picture indicating a Pokémon's type next to their name. (Like the Pokémon TCG cards)
Anonymouse Wrote:For some reason, the control system isn't consistent. Random parts of the game like the save /load type require a mouse whereas the rest of the game is keyboard based. Having to change between the two is a bit awkward and it would be easier if everything was keyboard controlled.

If not, can I try to add one?

Then try to buy a Super Potion at the Vermillion shop as Ash intended.
After the scene at the shop, return to the Squirtle hideout.
You'll see a different scene there depending on whether or not you stayed at an inn while looking for a Super Potion.

I've done this several times, and it just won't work. The same scene triggers every time. Is this a bug, or am I missing something?

Return to the base after the stampede. All of the tauros will be gone, allowing you to reach the pokeball.
Also, all of the milk tanks will be gone too, which opens paths to a couple of other pokeballs as well.

Irishpsycho Wrote:Hey, found a big game-ruining glitch.
get to the point where portals are activated at the poke-centers.
play to a point where it's only Ash, Misty, and Pikachu.
sleep at the inn in Viridian City. this will change your character to Misty.
teleport somewhere else(minor glitch here, where the character model changes to Ash, you are still misty.)
rest at a campfire.
if you do this, the game will keep you trapped as Misty in a "day" mode. the Viridian Inn will be empty when you return, so you can't join up with Ash again. this wouldn't be that much of a problem, except that, as Misty, you lose the abilities you collected as Ash (like the one to break rocks), so you won't be able to get past parts that require their use. If anyone knows a way to fix this so I can play as Ash again and move on with the game, it would be really helpful if you could tell me how.

Yeah, this is exactly what I've been doing. In one save-file I went around to different inns as well, but that didn't work either. I'm honestly very confused why it appears to be working for others but not me. Maybe I broke the sequence in some way?
