Intro for all
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Someone knocks several time on the door of your room, and as you open the door, a sailor stands in front of you.

<The captain wants to talk to all the passenger on the deck>

He doesn't says anything else as he proceeds to the next rooms, knocking and informing the other passengers in the same manner. It's early morning, the air is chilling and you are still sleepy, but nonetheless you put something on and make your way up the stairs leading to the meeting point. As you pass the door leading to the deck, turning your head to your left, your eyes are greeted by an astonishing landscape: a broken mountain range. A long series of mountain arranged along a seemingly straight line, almost as to form a natural barrier, shattered in one point, leaving what seems to be a passage to another different sea.

ImageImage

You are tempted to remain here, looking at the wonder of nature, but a rough voice grabs the attention of all the people on the deck.
<So you guys are the newcomers, eh?>
A man is standing on a platform, looking down on all the passengers, and from how he's dressed, you can guess that he's the captain. He's tall and well-built, a testament to his harsh sea lifestyle, and he has probably seen his fair share during his life, as his many scars attest to.

<I'm Norach, captain of this ship, and as such I'm here to inform you that we are now officially entering the waters of New Moon and will arrive at Marittima's docks before noon.> He turns around, giving the impression that he's leaving, but then he turns around again and resumes his speech <You thought that was all? If so, then maybe you all should just return home, yer too naive for those dangerous lands. Back in the day i also was an adventurer, and even if now i'm retired i still work for the Guild, back on the island. What is my work, if i'm never there? Use your head for a bit and you'll understand.><My work is to teach you noobies all you need to know before setting foot on land, so you'll be able to tell the difference between ass and pass, so open your ears and listen> The captain looks around to make sure all are listening, as he won't repeat his babbling a second time. <I don't know from where you come from or why you came here, or what you heard about this place, but I'll tell you this.>
<Yes, in this land it's possible to become immortal>

Those words predictably cause a stir in the crowd, however the captain refuses to yield and shushes everyone before continuing. <Becoming immortal doesn't mean you're invincible, and it also doesn't mean that you won't get your ass shot off. If you're killed, you will die. You will undoubtedly die, and feel all the pain of the event, however instead of moving on to whatever afterlife and gods you swear to you'll find yourself back at the main portal to the city. The founder and leader of our guild, Sir Elbait, was part of the group of explorers to first arrive, and during his adventures he found a certain artifact that can directly interfere with the soul of a person bonded to it. It's a complicated matter, and even if you studied magic for the rest of yer lives you'll probably only understand the basics of how it lights up. If you really want to know how things works you're free to do so, but i think you'll just waste your time>
<Don't even bother asking me, I'm just a seaman and know jack about hocus-pocus. The point remains that if someone receives the Artifact's blessing, when he or she is killed they'll just return to the city>

The hardy sailor surveys the crowd for a moment before grimacing, having found what he expected. <Don't any of you bother to try and steal it either. No one on the island but Sir Elbait knows where it's stashed, and he ain't a man anyone can beat down. No one's seen the bloody thing anyway either. That mystery's something no one has cracked yet, so you greedy idiots will be in for a hell of a time just trying to figure WHAT it is in the first place, though as said before, nobody will stop you from trying.>

The man sighs, which prompts the erratic thought if he too was one of the countless many that tried and failed to steal it.
<Now to the next item on the list. The fools trying to flee with their souls still bonded will turn to ash on leaving the island. Me and my crew would be mighty appreciative if none of you newcomers try and be as stupid as those men; it leaves a mess no one wants to sweep up!>
He tries to joke about it, but from his expression it's clear that it's not something he want to see again. His expression also tell that he's resigned himself that someone will still try again as well. <If you're itching to leave the island, go to the guild's building and get unbounded. You won't be immortal anymore, but you can go wherever you want, just like me>

<Something else. Since the first explorers first came to the island, interaction with the natives has been rather shaky.
More often than not there were conflicts and wars, but every time we have shown them who's the boss. The guild managed to arrange a cease-fire recently, so everyone's on edge waiting to see if the fighting starts up again. Again, I'd appreciate it if none of you go around causing trouble and setting off a war.>
<The locals are divided in two main groups, the Sha and the Aisu. The Sha live to the desert south-west, where their capital city Huo is. They look like elves with a redder skin and some feline looks, like a tiger. Their lands are sandy and their cities exotic, too bad that their temper is as hot as the temperature of their town>
<Meanwhile the Aisu live in snowy Shimo, directly on the opposite end of the island in the north-west. They're also like elves, but instead they're pasty white and have wolf traits. Their old capital was in a warmer place, but in the last centuries they've settled in a small snowy valley surrounded by icy hills and mountains. You might be able to get them to be more amicable, but don't be fooled: they hardly trust anyone outside of their race, and never forget grudges>
<Be them from either tribe, the ones living inside their cities are unfriendly with both foreigners and their rival tribe. We have a few of em both living in Marittima, our lovely maritime town, but at best they're barely cordial and at the worst condescending, but not violent, usually.>

<Since you'll become immortal, I don't think I have to warn you about any of the island critters. You can find out for yourselves. Just remember that you will still need to eat and sleep, so be sure to keep yourself healthy. Ah, i was about to forget. The island is full of majestic mountains and cliffs, and awesome landscapes to see... if it wasn't for those cursed jumpers. I really don't get why, but some of your predecessors like to get high by jumping down from the highest places they can find, those idiots>
<Now for the last. First of all, before we dock and enter the island boundary, I'll grant you all the artifact blessing with these pebbles. They've been infused with the Artifact's energy before ya start asking, and all ya need to do is touch em to receive the mojo. They won't last long either so don't pilfer any of em.>

<You all shouldn't have any problems with the bureaucracy, but should any problem arise, come to the Adventurer's Guild main building, as it works both as a guild and as an embassy for whoever comes to this place. Once you are on the island, you are free to go wherever you want as long as ya got the clearance for it. The city gates are sealed, so the only way to go out of Marittima is by using the portals in the guild building. They are connected to both the capitals and the "exploration spots", dungeons sounds much better, so you don't have to waste time traveling around on foot. Still, if you want to walk around from one place to another, first you have to go out of Marittima. Other towns's gate are open, so if you want to take a stroll in the wild nobody will stop you>
<Now, if any of ya needs any more information, I'll refer ya to the lovely ladies at the guild building. That should be all. You can go rest, i'll get some sailors to inform you before we arrive>
The captain takes a deep swig of rum from his canteen at this point, effectively ending the conference. Already in the distance you can spot the outline of Ancient Towers, reaching towards the sky. Seeing the monument gets your heart racing, but they're not the only things catching your interests, as in the horizon is possible to see the far mountains surrounding the inlet sea that the ship is actually passing through.

Spoiler (click to show/hide):

The travel has been pretty uneventful, at least until some hours ago, when the captain of the ship gathered all the passengers on the deck and gave some pointers about the island. Maybe now you understand things a bit better, or maybe not, but a thing is sure: after you got infused with the Artifact power... you don't feel that anything has changed. It's like it never happened. The captain said that now you can't be die... no, to be exact, you can be killed, but you'll somehow find yourself back inside the city. Since you have to die to find out if that's the truth, for now you can't do anything to confirm what he was saying.

After receiving the Artifact's blessing you've been given a strange magical crystal apparently named "Magical Tracker", some local currency and a guidebook. You spend your time as you see fit, and after one hour a sailor knocks on your door, informing you that the ship is docking and you'll have to get off soon.

And so here you are, finally down on the dock, ready to set off towards... wherever you want to go. You started this journey because you wanted to find forgotten fighting styles, but now that you are there, what will you do?

Well, since there is a way to not be killed, probably there will be a way to not die by age, and so you can search for things related to this option. That would be your primary concern, but now that you are there, what will you do?

In a fit of childish rage you've ran away from home, but since you didn't know where to go, in an attempt to not be found you hidden yourself inside a ship without even knowing where it was headed. For some hours you've been lucky, as nobody found you, but then a sailor spotted you. At the beginning you tough that he would treat you badly, but to your surprise he just brought you to the captain of the ship. You explained your situation and, having the means to pay for the rest of the travel, you compiled some papers and got yourself a room without problems. Still, it was a bit strange how they didn't treat you in a bad way, considering that you practically wanted to get a free ride despite having the money to buy a ticket.

Not having the money to pay for a room on the ship, you secretly sneaked into it, hiding yourself as best as you can, and for around half a day all went well. Only the first half a day, since a sailor found you. At the beginning you tough that he would treat you badly, but to your surprise he just brought you to the captain of the ship. You explained your situation and, not having the means to pay for the rest of the travel, he made you compiled some papers and told you that you'll have to pay back the cost of the trip, adding some interests to the base sum, but that they won't force you into anything shady. They gave you a room without anymore problems, and assured you that you'll be able to pay back what you owe at your own pace once you arrive on the island. Only downside will be that you won't be able to leave that place until you payed back the debt. You avoided this pinch, but still, it was a bit strange how they didn't treat you in a bad way, considering that you practically wanted to get a free ride.

Treya mulls over things in her mind, about the "immortality". It wasn't quite what she expected, but things could be worse. She spends some time thinking over things. Well, she could explore all she wanted, and if anything bad happened she would be "resurrected" back at the city. Well, this certainly did give her room for error in her travels. Treya leaves the dock and makes her way over to the guild hall, intent on finding out more about this land and the trials and adversity that she will face here. Her next stop after that will be the Adventurers Rest, for she learned from her former masters, that taverns are the best place to pick up rumors and jobs.
By the time you realize this doesn't say anything. It's too late to stop reading.

Blair blinks surprised that they are already there and looks up from her guidebook before snapping it shut and standing up to stretch her arms and legs before setting off to 'The Adventurers Rest' or whatever the book said it was called. She kept her eyes open as she walked through town following the directions in her guidebook. Upon entering the pub she sashayed up to the bar "Excuse me sir do you know where a Dancing girl like me can find some work?" She asked pouting and fluttering her eyelashes her almost see-through pants teasing everyone looking at her. As she leaned on the counter she lightly pushed her breast together and her ass swayed side to side behind her "You see I just came in and I have no way to make money," She pause and looks pleadingly up at the person manning the bar making herself just barely start to show tears in her eyes "You don't want to make me sleep outside or go hungry, Do you?"
"I mean, that thing about not looking a gift horse in the mouth? Well, how the fuck else are you supposed to figure out if it’s full of Greeks?”

Arriving with a fashion choice that attracts the eyes of men around he she stops for a second to consider where she'll go next. In her mind she sees nothing. There is absoulty no where she wants to go, so she just figures she'll relax before deciding. As such she heads a bit down the shore till she reached a nice warm beach with golden sand. Spending a small amount of money on a beach towel, she lays down and looks up, contemplating what really she should do. She closes her eyes and falls to sleep.

Touki takes in the information the captain gives her with a placid look on her face. This immortality seems like it could be useful, though she could do without the cons. She's used to being able to wander wherever she pleases, unhampered by anything. Now she has to made sure to check in before leaving or else dissolve into dust. Well, it's not like she was planning on going anywhere else in the meantime. There's a lot of island to explore and if any part of it holds a new style, she could be there for a while. The thought of training makes an errant thought pop into her head: Could she train herself to the point of death and come back good as new? Would she cripple herself doing that? Would she be revived in the state she was in moments before death, leading to an endless cycle of death and rebirth? She decides it's best to find the answer to this question first before trying anything potentially crippling. Her old wounds bother her enough as it is without adding worse ones to them. Before all that, she needs to get a hold of that Immortality so the first stop is the Adventurer's Guild. While she's there, she can ask about that "Magical Tracker" thing and see about maybe finding one of the local tribes. Going by what the captain said, the Shu or the Aisu, having been here before the Guild arrived, would be her best bet at learning new techniques.

Her game plan set out, she killed the hour between the captain's speech and their arrival by reading over the Guidebook. One doesn't travel as much as she does and wish to remain stupid about the general information of the area she's wandering in. So she tries to get as much information as she can out of the book before they hit dry land, something she's very grateful for. She's traveled a lot of ways, pretty much every way there is to travel in the world, but by boat has never been one of her favorites. She doesn't know whether it's the lack of ability to get out and move anywhere or the fact that she's on a large bit of metal only kept from tipping by the water it's moving across and engineering or the fact that it takes SO DAMN LONG, but she's never liked traveling by boat. At yet she's going to have to do it at least once more if she ever wants to leave this island. Sighing to herself, she plants her feet on nice solid land and makes her way to the Adventurer's Guild, ready to get started on her quest.

Velma huffed lightly as she finally had a moment to think. Being cramped up in a ship with a bunch of filthy sailors was not ideal, nor was being jostled around with a bunch of other travelers as she disembarked from her vessel. But she needed not worry about it now. She had a whole other set of worries. While her fellow 'adventurers' set off to set up their housing or find a quest to busy themselves with, she had business to conduct. Resting was not profitable. She would have time to rest once she had a sizable workforce under her and a couple of fine establishments to line her pockets with gold- or crystal, in the case of this new land. She made a mental not to exchange the excess of gold coins she had for the odd gem like coinage of this island. But for now, she had to check on her cargo.

With all the poise befitting a woman of her appearance, the dark haired vixen set off to locate her expensive shipment of spices. Once she was assured they were safe and sound she could nab some and bring it as a sample to potential buyers within the city. She would haggle them up to a ridiculously inflated price then plan out where to invest the profit in this place. But she needed to find the damned warehouse first. Sparing polite and friendly grins to those she passed on the way across the docks she finally came upon the huge buildings. Picking a worker from the crowds, she approached him with a dazzling smile. "Excuse me, but could you help me track down some cargo? I'd be very thankful if you could point me in the direction of the new arrivals and perhaps escort me there." She kept her tone charming and sweet, hoping the man would get her there all the quicker because of her pleasant demeanor.

Deimos gave a soft hiss of disappointment. The limitation of the immortality certainly changed his parts of his mission but the idea of gathering power would stay the same. As far as what the captain said, Deimos wouldn't put any faith in his words until he saw first hand. Soft, fleshy humans had an annoying habit of lying and stretching the truth. He held the magical crystal between his claws, examining it until a sailor came through his door to notify him of the ship's docking. Moments later Deimos came topside, his tongue tasting the air as he gathered his bearings. "So the great journey begins..."

In his whole life, Deimos had rarely ever found a use for human settlements. He rarely ever bought anything since he hunted his own food and naturally healed. He could carve his own weapons and if necessary kill others for theirs. He gave a loud hiss of discontent as he disembarked, immediately making his way for the closest wilderness. He didn't need the soft humans to bring power back to his clan.

Ginko let out a soft sigh of disappointment.
This was not the immortality she sought, but it was a start.
She couldn't, however, rid herself of the dark feeling in the depths of her belly.
Forcing herself to ignore it, she checked her seed pouch. She had collected them at a moments notice, so she didn't pay attention to what seeds she had.
Aside from that, Ginko wanted to bathe in a hot spring. Sea salt was rough on her skin.
Perhaps someone knew of one?

Not unlike many of his fellow adventurers, Kazuki was a bit skeptical of his newfound immortality. Even if it worked the way that the captain said that it did, he had no immediate desire to test it. While he was certain that the limits of the island's immortality would be made known to him in time, for right now, he decided that it would be best not to dwell on it. No matter his past adventures, he was a stranger to this land. He needed to keep his mind clear, his senses sharp, and his wits about him. The Adventurer's Guild seemed as good a place as any to get settled in. In all likelihood, he figured that they would be able to elaborate on more than just what the ship's captain had told them. Even if they were just going to repeat everything that he had already be told, it wouldn't be bad idea to reinforce the information.

Pointing the way towards the Adventurer's Guild, the guidebook had already proved its usefulness. Though he was unsure of its purpose, he had little doubt that the magical crystal would be equally useful, if not more so in the long-run. The foreign currency probably amounted to a paltry sum, but it was better than nothing, and he was grateful to have it.

Once he had made it to the Adventurer's Guild, Kazuki would ask all of the standard questions, as well as find out as much additional information as he could. Maybe someone at the guild could tell him what the magic crystal was for. It would help if he could secure lodgings for his indeterminate stay, but if that proved too difficult or expensive, then he would just have to find a way to make due in the meantime. The next order of business would be finding suitable employment for a man of his skills. The idea of kowtowing to a lord, or master wasn't terribly appealing, but it was probably too ambitious to go out and try and make it on his own. Ultimately, that's what he would like to do, but having just set foot on the island, it was likely to be ill-advised.

Amber was practically bouncing with excitement the whole boat ride over and could not wait to reach land. So close! Sooo~ MUCH~ TREASUREEEEE~ She absolutely could not wait and then the Capitan called them out and spoke to them... nifty. Does that mean she could swim underwater? No? Aww.... no fishies. She pouted lightly and it looked adorable but she knew it would. So as the hit land she immediately dashed off for the guild building. To adventure! She wanted to find treasure! And maybeeeee that place could give her somewhere to do it! Those Wolfie people sounded cute.. yum wolfies...

Touki - Hunger: 0 - Thirst: 0 - Fatigue: 0
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Having already made plans, Touki proceeds towards the Adventurer's Guild Main Building. It's quite easy to find, as she just need to go directly straight from the docks. As soon as she enters, she's greeted by the two receptionists, seated behind a large counter.

<Welcome at the Adventurer's Guild Main Building. How can we help you?> both seems to be pretty friendly, and are waiting for you to voice your questions, in case you have any. Other passengers of the ship have come here too: a human man wearing strange clothes and an horse woman. Of those two, the first is already asking questions, so it may not be a bad idea to listen in to their conversation.

Ginko - Hunger: 0 - Thirst: 0 - Fatigue: 0
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Looking at your pouch, you can see that inside there are two asparagus seeds, three hawthorn seeds, four arugula seeds, two fennel seeds, five strawberry seeds, one hop seed, three opium seeds and seven fox berry seed. For a bit you wonder how those opium seeds found their way into your pouch, but eventually you just think that sooner of later they might come in handy. For now, finding an hot spring seems to be your main goal, but from what you can see in the guidebook, in Marittima there aren't any. You could settle for a normal bath, but nothing stops you from searching hot springs in the native's cities or asking around where you can find them in this island.

Blair - Hunger: 0 - Thirst: 0 - Fatigue: 0

Appearance Check Roll: d20+5(app)=20

You make your way towards "The Adventurer's Rest", letting any passerby gets an eyeful of your "goods" through your revealing clothes. Some even go out of her way to follow you for a bit, and eventually a few of them see you go inside the pub.
Once inside, you notice that this place is quite empty. Other than a few waitresses sitting up and chatting at a table and a pretty elegant middle-aged man at the counter, there is practically nobody there... and it's not even that strange, considering that it's a bit after noon, not exactly a time to go to a pub. Nonetheless, your coming inside focus upon you the attention of the peoples in the pub. You talk directly to the man, trying to get him to employ you, and he just stares at you <Dancer, eh?> he doesn't seems much pleased with how you present yourself, and seems to be about to send you away, but stops when you plead him saying that you just came and have no way to make money. He check you up, staring at your body, letting his eyes slide up and down... and his expression changes.

<Look here, we already have some dancers, and you certainly doesn't seems to be on their level, however...> he pauses, letting seconds pass, as if to build up suspance before finally giving the final judgment <...your looks are not so bad. Tell you what, i'll let you try dancing for a bit, and if you do well enough i may let you work here every now and then. The pay won't be much, and we'll permit you to dance only if you manage to keep up with the others... that is, if you pass the test> he gives a look towards the waitresses, and they seems to agree with his decision <Go up the stage and try dancing a bit, following the music of the piano. Ah, this is high class pub, not your usual underground back-room, so try to not lower our standards> one of the waitresses is already going towards the piano, and waits for you to decide. It's up to you now, you can go up the red stage and try his test, or you could just go away from this place and try your hand at somewhere else, since this is not the only place who could employ someone with your abilities.

Deimos - Hunger: 0 - Thirst: 0 - Fatigue: 0
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

You begin to walk, searching for this town's exit and, effectively, you find it. Behind a pretty big portal, the gates of the city are sealed. You remember the captain of the ship saying that the only way out of this city was through the use of the portals inside the Adventurer's Guild Main Building. Now, you could go there and search for them or just continue to wander around, familiarizing yourself with this place or searching for a breach in the colossal walls surrounding this human settlement. Know what, you could even try to approach the natives living there, you never know what might come out of it... so, what will you do?

Velma - Hunger: 0 - Thirst: 0 - Fatigue: 0
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Request Roll: d20+5(cha)+2(fea)=22

You make your way toward the cargo's port, but unfortunately it's surrounded by metallic fences, probably to keep out thieves. You go around, and eventually find the gates. A worker pass near you, and promptly you approach him, asking where you might find the new arrivals of cargo. He looks at you, smiles, and then answer <When they arrive, the cargo are assigned to respective warehouses depending on the type of goods. I'd love to accompany you, but i don't have the necessary permits. However, i can lead you to the ones in charge> he waits for your answer and, if it' positive, he will lead you through the gates and towards the near entrance to the Adventurer's Guild Main Building. Not the main entrance, but the one inside the gates, the second one. He will then lead you towards the large counter that divides in half the room, letting you talk with one of the employees on the other side <Phil!> he calls for his friend <This lovely lady owns some goods recently arrived. Will you help her?>

Phil sits down on a chair behind the counter, and invites you to do the same <Now, let's see. Can i please get your name and the type of cargo you own?>

Treya - Hunger: 0 - Thirst: 0 - Fatigue: 0

Adastra - Hunger: 1 - Thirst: 1 - Fatigue: 0

Trouble approaching: d20+5(app)=13
Waking up: d20-3(will)=8

You make your way towards the beach, gathering the stares of most of the men who see you pass by. You notice how the western part of the city seems different from the rest, more like a slum, and you notice how it's inhabited mostly by Sha and Aisu, going by the captain's description of the natives, but you just overlook it and proceeds to go further, arriving finally on the golden sands of the beach. Here the situation seems even worse, with wooden house along the coast, but you still don't care and approach what seems to be an elf with reddish skin, crimson hair, furry ears and some black stripes along his arms and legs, clearly a Sha, and buy from him a beach towel. You pay him the three Fulling he wants, and ignoring the staring from the other Sha around, you proceeds to lay down on one of the areas designed for "tourism and relaxing".

Thinking about what to do, you eventually fall asleep. Time passes, and most of the passing natives just looks at you, until... two particularly well built Sha males approach. One of them crouches at your right, while the other one lays down on your left, and both begins to talk to you, trying to hook up... only to find out that you are asleep. One of them tries again to talk to you, but your lack of response makes him grin. They look at each other, and then they both proceed to lay their hands on you, to confirm if you're really asleep or just tempting them. The crouching one sneaks his hand near your right breast, lightly caressing it, while his companion puts his hand on your inner thigh, prodding around. They move their hands in a sneaky way, avoiding being seen by the passerby, and once they're sure that you're completely asleep, they nod to each other.

Some time later, you finally wake up and... to your surprise, you are not on the beach. You are sitting on a wooden char, inside a rather fancy wooden house. In front of you there are quite a lot of tables, and to your right... a counter, with some valuables behind glasses cases. No, wait, there aren't only valuables in there... there's also your sword and your armor! Wait, if your armor is there... what are you wearing? Looking down, you can see that, under the beach towel actually being used as a sheet, you are wearing a white bikini. Your thoughts are about to wander when a voice calls out to you <You up, sleeping beauty?> you turn around, and behind the counter you see a tall and muscular Sha, thought he doesn't appear to be exactly young <Next time you should know better than to fall asleep on the beach, even more so because you're not one of us> he's not exactly friendly, but at least he doesn't seem to be hostile <Don't look at me like that. Some youngster brought you here and gambled your things off. If it wasn't for me, even you would have been gambled> he sighs <Don't thank me, i only stopped them because you were sleeping. There would be too much trouble for me if word spread that i smuggled explorers without their permission> his words are harsh, but thinking about it, you can figure that if it wasn't for him you not only would have been gambled away, but also right now you would be stark naked. After all, if his story is true, why would your kidnappers make you wear a bikini? They probably wouldn't even bother.

The man waits a bit for you to understand the situation you're in, and then continues <Don't expect me to give you back your money or your things. You should be grateful that i didn't already kick you out> he grumbles, and then continues to do his work, cleaning around as there aren't any "costumers". You practically lost everything you own. You could go out like this and think about what to do, but you might also try to win back what you lost since, after all, this is a gambling house. You can do whatever you think is better, so... what will you do?

Kazuki - Hunger: 0 - Thirst: 0 - Fatigue: 0
Spoiler (click to show/hide):

Having made his plans, Kazuki proceeds towards the Adventurer's Guild Main Building. It's quite easy to find, as she just need to go directly straight from the docks. As soon as she enters, she's greeted by the two receptionists, seated behind a large counter. Apparently one of them is talking to a cat woman, telling her that the portals to go out of the city are at the upper floor, taking the left hallway, and the anthro soon dashes off.

<Welcome at the Adventurer's Guild Main Building. How can we help you?> both receptionists seems to be pretty friendly, and are waiting for you to voice your questions, in case you have any. You ask them, and they being, repeating much of what you already learned from the captain and the guidebook. They however add that when you die, you'll be brought back to life like you where when you died, minus anything that might harm your body. They also explain the use of the magical tracker, that it is a magical device that keeps track of his movements, storing data about the place that he's in, and it's able to create holographic maps from the data stored. They explain that it's possible to also buy the data of most maps, as well as it's possible to sell owned data.
After that, they proceed to explain about the Adventurer's Ranking, of how it rise when exploring and completing certain requests and how it goes down when dying. They end their explanation saying that, going in the left hallway, he would find a door to an office where he can take requests and can sells most of the things he can find while exploring, and there he can also buy a house if he has enough money, though it cost an extremely big amount of money to buy one.
Other passengers of the ship have come here too in the meantime : an horse woman and an human woman.

<Welcome at the Adventurer's Guild Main Building. How can we help you?> both seems to be pretty friendly, and are waiting for you to voice your questions, or better, your question about where to find the portals to go out of Marittima. They tell you to proceed to the second floor, and you do so, going by the left hallway and dashing up the stairs, reaching the upper floor. Here, you find yourself in a room with two bright magic circles, surrounded by four columns each. at the right side of the room there is a door, probably leading towards other magic circles, while at the other side of the room from your position, there is another passage to other magic circles. An employee sees you and, approaching, asks <Is this your first time here? Do you want me to explain where those circles leads?> It's up to you now, will you ask for direction or will you just use a random magic circle? Or maybe you'll just go away?

Blair glared at being talked down to and left in a huff (Which all looked more cute than scary) "I can tell when I'm not wanted." After leaving the pub she pouts cutely and walks around reading her guidebook her ass and breast bouncing slightly with every step, the holes in the side of her pants always almost just showing, but never quite showing enough to be indecent. She wanders around and ends up at "Drink en' Drunk" she puts away her guidebook walks in to talk to the barkeep "Excuse me can you tell me where an Erotic Dancer like me can work, you see I'm just off the boat and a little lost." She states with a giggle that makes her breasts bounce. She scratches the back of her head lightly pushing her breasts out to make them visibly straining her top. She then clasps her hands together in front of her pushing her breasts together making them seem to almost squeeze out of her top "Please I really need a way to make money."
"I mean, that thing about not looking a gift horse in the mouth? Well, how the fuck else are you supposed to figure out if it’s full of Greeks?”

Hearing that one of the passengers on the boat is asking questions, Touki turns her ears to listen in to keep the ladies from having to answer the same question twice. So the magic of this land brings them back as they were when they died minus the damage. As she understands it, that means that she should stick to her normal training methods. Building muscle is basically creating an artificially harsh environment for your body and doing damage to it so that it repairs itself in such a way that it adjusts to the environment. Reviving minus the damage means her body wouldn't get the opportunity to repair the injuries she inflicted, thus never getting any stronger. She'll just be suffering pain for pain's sake, something she was never particularly into.

The Magic Tracker seems useful, allowing Touki to build her own map as she travels and making it easier not to visit the same place twice unless needed. Buying map data could be useful too, but she thinks she'll stick with making her own way for now. She has no idea how much money map data could cost and one of the things you learn as a wanderer is to spend your money VERY wisely. She has very little interest in the Adventurer's Ranking since it doesn't seem like she'll have much need for it. The only thing she's said they can buy over there is a house and she has absolutely no desire for one of those. Not at this point in her life anyway. She half wonders what else would be sold there, but she decides it's not worth her time to ask.

With her eavesdropping done, Touki decides to ask a few questions of her own. "Where can I buy food, a canteen, and a travel pack and where is the nearest Sha settlement?" Her tone is brusque and not necessarily the most friendly around. She should probably work on that, but she hasn't found a real reason to just yet. Still, in the interest of not making an enemy out of an information source, she puts on a smile to show that she doesn't mean to be rude, it's just the only way she knows how to communicate.

Well, that was disappointing. At least this peon could lead her to someone of actual use to her. Still, the lovely young woman kept a pleasant smile on her face as the man led her through the security of the Guild's storage and into the hall itself. At least her goods would be safe, although frankly who would bother carrying around sacks of spice when gold and gems were likely among the stored goods? Upon arrival in the large counter split room, Velma took her seat as this Phil fellow directed her over to him. "The goods should be under the name Velma, a shipment of exotic spices from Valok." She responded softly, hoping to get this over with quickly.

Amber dashed through the halls with excitement and eagerness... adventure awaited... treasure! She saw all those nifty blue portals and wanted to just dive right in but... that could be hazardous. Maybe she should ask for directions,"Um... well yes this is my first time! I was hoping maybe you could point me to the portal that would lead me to the old Aisu capital? I'm off for adventure!" She said cheerfully and wondered if she should pick the man's pockets... nah. He probably doesn't keep much. And he wasn't even that cute... not like those receptionists... yummy. The face of the guild was cute! But now to get that treasure... and slay monsters!

Well, at least Ginko wasn't going to starve to death in the meantime.
She made a note to herself to obtain some... deadlier seeds than the poppies. Could be useful in a pinch.
The poppies would be a useful painkiller for later, but she had no use for them for now.
Now, she wanted to hunt.
Where should she look for a hunting job?

Adastra looks at her new outfit and twirled around a little, her breasts jiggling all the way. Despite loosing everything she owns she's rather happy with this white bikini and decides she'll try and get her stuff back later. She smiles at the Sha kindly, understanding perfectly "I'm sorry for any trouble I may have caused you, thank you for the ourfit" As she says this she stays walking out, the Slha watching her swaying hips and perfect ass. But just as she's about to exit the building two well built Sha arrive, the same from the beach. They're both extremely attractive. One of them speaks up seeing her <Well looks who's up, we were just coming to check on you now. he smirks as he says this, and both men are checking her out, loving her without the armor. They look at each other before they walk over to her with mischievous grins. Suddenly one of them grabs both her breasts and starts feeling how supple and smooth they are, while the other is playing with her ass. She can't but moan, her face showing her feelings towards the treatment. She looks at the older Sha for help, but can only find him looking with lustful eyes. She tries to resist their advances.

Treya listened in to the questions of the man in front of her. Right now, she was looking for work or quest, and/or a light temple, or place that would welcome a war priestess of light magic. She needed to get a feel for the condition of the town. Treya would then head to Adventures Rest, unless the receptionists directed her somewhere else. As the tavern would be the most likely place to find work, or a chance for battle. Wherever she would go, Treya would take her time getting there, walking around the town a bit to see what condition the people were in and if anyone needed her healing talents.
By the time you realize this doesn't say anything. It's too late to stop reading.

"I see... Thank you." Satisfied with the additional information that they had provided him with, Kazuki thanked the receptionists before stepping off to the side. With so many people coming off the boat, chances were good that he wasn't the only one who'd be coming in with questions for the two of them. Even if the answers that he had been given were overheard by others, he saw no reason to hold up the line. Perhaps he too might hear something of use.

After taking a minute or two to collect his thoughts, Kazuki made his way down the hallway to the left, and then to the office. There was no telling how long his quest would keep him here, and so it was in his best interest to get started right away. The money that he had been given wasn't good for more than a single night's stay at the inn of his choosing. While he was no stranger to roughing it, there was probably a good reason why the town/city was walled off. It probably wasn't all that safe to be camping out in the wilderness. Even if everyone who had been aboard the boat were to pool their money and resources, a house was well beyond their price range. Perhaps in time, he'd be able to secure an apartment, or something similar to take residence in. For the time being however, he'd see what jobs and requests were available for a man of his skill set. It was also in his best interest to educate himself on what sort of relics and other items that could be found and sold for profit.

Deimos snarled as he came upon the locked gates. Humans always had to complicate simple things like gates. He was curious about the portal but he had already spent too long on a ship and had no desire to spend anytime inside of a human settlement. He did recall that captain mentioning that the only portal out was through the Adventure's Guild, no doubt some group dedicated to killing creatures and stealing their wealth.

It didn't take Deimos long to find the Adventure's Guild. He pushed the door open, pleased with the loud slam that followed before ambling farther in. He walks to the receptionist's desk, dragging his claws against it to get their attention. "I wish to teleport to another part of this island." He snarled and spat a little as he attempted to form human words. He noticed other people and creatures there but he had no time nor wanted to associate with them.
